Don’t be shocked; defying the laws of physics is a common experience here.  The Magnetic Hill, as it’s commonly referred to, pulls a car or a bike towards the peak. The reasons behind this occurrence are as yet unknown. However, it’s worth giving it a try! 13. River of opportunity! One of the top things to do in Ladakh is to watch the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. The frozen Zanskar River presents tremendous trekking opportunities during winter. Also known as Chadar Trek, it’s a favorite among adventure seekers. The surreal beauty of the icy world enveloping you throughout the trek leaves you overwhelmed. 14. Sipping Tea at the World’s highest Cafeteria A board stating the benefits of drinking black tea welcomes you to the Rinchen Cafeteria. Located at an altitude of 18,380ft, momos, and Maggi are also served along with tea.  This wonderful cafe has been named after Col. Rinchen for seizing Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Once here, check out the various stories, paintings, and quotes by the Army. 15. Piping hot Maggie at High Altitude! Nothing beats the taste of piping hot Maggi at high altitudes. However, the various rituals associated with it are every bit as interesting. The couple wears ceremonial dresses while the guests, seated on small tables, are served butter tea.  Traditional songs are played, and dance goes on for hours. “Chang,” the local alcohol is served, and everyone joins in the festivities. 18. Ladakh’s local delicacies! Ladakh’s cuisine is the result of an innovative twist to Kashmiri cuisine. One of them is the delicious stew, which contains a wonderful combination of ingredients like rice, noodles, momos, Thukpa, etc.  One should also try the Yak Cheese and the Yak Cheese momos here. Of course, no meal is complete without trying the local butter tea. 19. Meditate by the famous lakes! Lakes in Ladakh enchant visitors with their breathtaking beauty. They are known as “Tso.” Pangong Tso, which means “long and narrow lake,” is the highest saltwater lake in the world.  Tso Kar and Tso Moriri are two famous lakes. Mirpal Tso attracts travelers with its sandy bed and turquoise waters. 20. Pleasures of bird watching! The enormous and arid landscape of Ladakh is a haven for diverse avifauna. This region has various species of birds as visitors. Further, many of them are endangered.  The amazing solitude makes bird watching in Ladakh a perfectly blissful activity. Bird watching is popular in Suru Valley, Rizong Monastery, and Nubra Valley, among others. 21. Pray Some, Spin Some! Ladakh has several monasteries that are as charming as they are fascinating. A visit to any of them is sure to leave you with great memories.  One of the prime activities to do in a monastery is to spin a prayer well. Spinning the prayer wheel, according to Buddhist traditions, ushers in good luck. So, when in Ladakh, spin that wheel! 22. Mingle with monks! One of the great attractions of visiting the monasteries is mingling with the monks. Saffron-clad and bald, they possess a wealth of knowledge with a good dose of humor.  Request them humbly, and you may just be in for a session of fascinating tales and stories. 23. Make-a-wish stones Since the beginning of history, stone stacking has been followed by making a wish. During earlier ages, they served the roles of messengers, signs, and landmarks.  The locals, however, believe that stacking stones brings good luck to travelers. Stack some stones, and make a wish! It’s time for manifestation. 24. Shop in the Local Markets to Carry Memories of the Ladakh Trip! Shopping takes an exciting turn in the Ladakh markets. Five Tips For First Time Traveler To India

BY  Abdul Aziz May 7, 2017

Visiting India is akin to taking a dive into the unknown. Most travelers to India will tell you that the chaos and unceasing hullabaloo is an intrinsic part of it. Others, however, seem to successfully capture the “mystical and harmonious” spirit that apparently, is to be found everywhere in India.  Not only the land of snake charmers but more ethnic wonders, India travel should be on the top of your list for various reasons. However, regardless of what India is, or is not, there are certain tips which must be followed by every visitor to India. This ensures the best of everything while allowing one to discover all that India has to offer. Here are the five tips for first-time travelers to India. Five Tips For First Time Traveler To India: 1. Choosing The Best Route: Among the many tips for first-time visitors to India, this is one of the most important. Plan your India trip according to your interests, priorities, and fascinations. If exploring the fabulous monuments is what you desire, visit the cities of Agra, Delhi and Jaipur. From Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri to Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb, you’ll find it all here for India travel. If spiritual discovery is what you’re after, then visit the innumerable temples in North and South India, the beautiful mosques, monasteries, and churches scattered all over India. India also offers abundant opportunities for engaging in adventure sports and natured oriented pursuits like trekking, skiing, rafting, etc. To get a glimpse of the exotic flora and fauna of India, visit the several nature parks or wildlife sanctuaries, which house an exotic variety of flora and fauna. 2. Go Slow – Patience Is The Key! Too many visitors to India make the mistake of trying to discover and explore everything in one go. The geographical enormity of India renders such a task not just impossible but rather foolish. Once you are in India, slow down and absorb the surroundings around you, while appreciating the uniqueness brought by every experience. Rather than stressing yourself over completing the things-to-do list, focus on doing one thing or visiting one place and exploring it in detail. Not only will this make your trip pleasant, but also give you a glimpse of the local culture and customs. If you want to understand India, this is the way to go about it. If you are complaining about the traffic in your country, then it is nothing less than the traffic in India which makes India travel no less than a hectic journey. So, always keep the assistance of Google Maps, so that you can easily find out short cuts and lanes for a quick escape. Also, drivers tend to ask for more money if they see that you are a tourist. It is better if you do thorough research on the cab rates and bus rates to save some money. 3. Look For Solitude Amid Unceasing Chaos! Any useful guide for first-time visitors to India will tell you that despite being a land inhabited by billions, India still offers plentiful avenues for escaping the maddening crowd and ensuing chaos. This is not to say that you should avoid soaking in the cultural and social atmosphere. However, there will come a point where you would seek moments of tranquility and solitude. Fortunately, India has plenty of hill stations, quiet retreats, isolated beaches, serene backwaters, etc. It’s always a good idea to head to these places when the crowds and the hassle seem overbearing. Doing this will help you relax and rejuvenate before continuing with the rest of your journey. If you are a nature lover, then it is best to start from the north. There are mainly five travel holidays destinations you should be starting on. Now the call is completely yours: Leh-Ladakh Shimla-Manali Dehradun-Mussoorie Nainital-Ranikhet Jammu-Kashmir 4. Prioritize Your Health: Any ultimate guide for the first timer to India will mention the words “health, well-being, safety, etc.” In India, you can never be too cautious regarding your health. Never make the mistake of drinking tap water or consuming food which has been lying around for a long time. Indian food is very spicy. So, be careful in the matter of food choices. Do not drink water from random shops. Instead, keep a bottle of mineral water with you all the time. While street-side snacks are utterly tempting, it’s always advised to assess the cleanliness around you before gorging on them. One of the best ways of determining whether the food is safe is to watch whether it’s being consumed by locals. If yes, then go ahead! Also, do not miss the famous food places to visit in India. You will see that diversity is not only in cultures but in food too. However, each food item is different in taste and in health. Another way of ensuring your health is always carrying an anti-bacterial gel or anti-bacterial wipes. This is because most Indians eat with their fingers, and if you want to emulate them, these are the best tools for the last minute clean-up. 5. Be Calm At All Times: One of the most useful things to know for the first timers to India is maintaining your cool at all times. Certain parts of India, and especially the North, may seem brash, undisciplined and rude, with all sorts of touts out to get your money for more travel holidays. However, it’s important to be extremely alert while politely refusing any unwanted advances or moves made upon you. One of the easiest ways of avoiding being conned is refusing any deal that sounds too good to be true. Conclusion: At the same time, when the situation demands, learn to be assertive without sounding angry. This is the best way of displaying your confidence without appearing to be weak. There are numerous places to visit in India, and you cannot finish it in one month. Therefore, if you are at all planning for an India tour, make sure that your getaway last for more than a month, maybe two. The vast country awaits to mesmerize you with its meandering rivers and lofty mountains and timeless monuments and spiritual hubs of different religions. You Can’t MISS These Best Songs for Instagram Travel Reels (Real People, Real Choice)

BY  Sibashree Sep 9, 2024

Are you a travel blogger? Do you want to share the best moments from your last trip on Instagram reels and stories? Here is a list of the best songs for Instagram travel reels.  The English songs I have picked are eclectic, and I have curated pieces that fit various moods. Further, from John Denver to Ed Sheeran, your most loved artists feature on this list.  A reel without a good song underneath is like a postcard without a message. You can appreciate its beauty, perhaps, for a split second, but you won’t recall it.  This guide is based on actual creator behavior, actual engagement patterns, and actual audience response, not just the same old “trending audio” posts you see around the web.  Whether you're an influencer in the travel space, a casual content creator, or an individual or business marketer for the travel industry, this article will assist you in using songs that actually perform well.  Have You Checked Out These Best Songs For Instagram Travel Reels?  When we travel, the gust of the wind, the murmuring of the leaves, or the chirping of the birds are probably the best music you can listen to. However, as you return, those moments become memories and the photographs and videos we click turn into stories we want to tell the world.  What’s better than a piece of music to enhance these stories? It can be Whitesnake’s rock anthem, “Here I Go Again,” Denver’s “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” or the feel-good “On My Way” by Carswell & Hope. 1. "Wave" by Lyxe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DfTWt8_Ec0 Perfect For: Roadtrip reels Everyone was crazy when Lyxe reconfigured Wave in June 2023. The song’s upbeat tempo is inspiring, and it asks you to get “'Everything You Could Ever Want.”  As the soundtrack opens, you are already transported to a highway with the embrace of majestic trees on both sides. The melody just works as the sunlight peeps through the vegetation.  2. “On My Way" by Carswell & Hope https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0qkhXoiGCQ Perfect For: Couple Travel Videos I find “On My Way" close to Denver’s Country Roads in spirit. It’s like a country ballad with an urban touch. And the guitar is just out of the world in the piece.  However, as you reach the lines,  “Me and my vice, and you in your wisdom Lightly tripped along the passing days Wouldn’t it be nice if you could finally listen? To hear the tune that’s calling you home today”  You realize that it’s about the journey of your life with your love! Listening to the tunes that are calling you “home today.”  3. “Unto Myself” by Serene Fiend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kogF2cchLCk Perfect For: Adventure Sports Reels Here’s something for a metal head. As you explore outdoor pursuits and make reels for Instagram, “Unto Myself” becomes your go-to travel song.  Watch out for the edgy twists in this one of the best songs for Instagram travel reels.  4. Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyF8RHM1OCg Perfect For: Road Trips/ Adventure Activities Reels/Solo Travel Videos Exuding the spirit of classic rock, Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again is a vintage travel song that emancipates and transports. This is also a kinda prayer where the traveler asks for courage and strength to carry on. Further, this song can be the greatest kick for solo travelers who love to walk the street alone.  5. Denver’s “Leaving on a Jet Plane” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SneCkM0bJq0 Perfect For: Long Trips/Foreign Trips Leaving on a Jet Plane is a classic, and it’s, for me, the most romantic conversation between two lovers. One leaves on a trip and asks the other to kiss, smile, and wait until they return.  A sense of melancholy, the signature of Denver, makes the song timeless. It’s like we all travel to return to the people we love and all good things! We are not always sure about the return, but we want to!  6. “Galway Girl” By Ed Sheeran https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87gWaABqGYs Perfect For: Romantic Travel Reels  Are you on a trip to Ireland or the gorgeous European cities? Ed Sheeran’s Galway Girl is the perfect song to add a dash of romance and whims to your travel reel.  So, are you ready to meet her on “Grafton Street?” 7. "Enjoy The Show" by The Sluts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnurG4O5og4 Perfect For: City Nightlife Reels  You can be in Las Vegas or Barcelona. You can pump up your nightlife reels with this high-energy number from The Sluts. Having said that, the underlying laid-back charm of this song keeps it psychedelic for you, and the powerful vocal just helps you get going!  8. "About Damn Time" by Lizzo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXXxciRUMzE Perfect For: Girls’ Solo Trip Travel Reels  Oh, my girl, are you on a break and want to be on top of your game? "About Damn Time" by Lizzo is the kick you need.  It inspires and assures that everything is about time and that everything will be okay. So, use this song for travel stories that mend you.  9. "Watermelon Sugar" by Harry Styles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E07s5ZYygMg Perfect For: Beach Holiday Reels/Couple Travel Videos Your coastal summer holidays could not be better than this Harry Styles song. The song has a zing, and its youthful charm is infectious. The passionate undertone further makes the song a hit among the young at heart.  10. “Saturday Sun" by Vance Joy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKqMNQkjHmI Perfect For: Weekend Trip Reels/Coastal Holidays The happy tempo of the song is something that strikes instantly. Further, the song is about meeting someone for the first time and falling in love with them. So young and refreshing! Perfect for a weekend escapade!  11. “Perfect" by Ed Sheeran https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vv-BfVoq4g Perfect For: Couple Holiday Reels Who doesn’t know of Sheeran’s “Perfect?” This song just makes walking “Barefoot on the Grass” with your love more special.  It’s time to enjoy the most romantic journey with your love in your arms. The soft melody is just worth melting!  Rules for Instagram Music and Copyright (2026)  How to keep your reel safe and accessible:  Use music within the Instagram library  Don't repost copyrighted songs on third-party platforms  Creator accounts receive broader access compared to business accounts  The safest type of music for brand endorsement is royalty-free music.  How Music Affects the Instagram Algorithm?  Music impacts:  Viewing Duration – autographic Data  Whether they replay  Whether they save  If they both use the same sound  Instagram promotes reels with:  High completion  Audio Reuse  Emotional engagement   Your choice of music is an algorithm signal.  Common Mistakes Creators Make When Using Reel Music  Picking a song based on its popularity trend  Matching calm visuals with high-energy music  Cutting randomly as opposed to cutting to the beat  Dominating visuals with loud drops  Repeating the viral sound indefinitely Some Of The Best Songs For Instagram Travel Reels My Friends Love  Music is such a subjective thing to decide upon! How about asking my friends about the songs they like in their travel reels? These thoughts came to mind while curating the travel songs for Instagram reels. I quickly worked on the idea, and here is what my friends have to say about the best songs for Instagram travel reels.  “Paradise by Coldplay is my favorite, as it has several parts that fit like a glove over any travel reel. From revealing the grandeur of a mountain to a montage of chasing sunsets, the first couple of seconds is my go-to!”  - Harsha Sharma. “Country Roads by Denver: It highlights a major theme that's common for all travel experiences. We travel to rejuvenate our spirits, and for most adventure lovers, this rejuvenation feels like home.” - Saswati. “Music can help establish an emotional connection. Paris by Chainsmokers resonates with emotions and experiences from a specific moment in your travels with your loved ones.” - Nikita Marilyn Gomes. “Taylor Swift: 22! There is nothing better than a good old road trip with your girls. Taylor Swift will always be at the top of our list. Especially 22 (...although none of us are anymore). It is when we cruise through the windy roads and cross cities with only each other it feels like we are only young and 22, awaiting all the adventures.” - Deepanwita.  “Forever Young by Alphaville: "Forever Young, I want to be forever young," the timeless melody and meaningful lyrics awaken the urge to stay young to explore more, to live more, and to explore the unknown.” - Piyasa M.  “The Nights by Avicii: this song has a very upbeat tempo, a wonderful chorus, and nostalgic lyrics that can perfectly capture the ultimate spirit of adventure and life's moments.” - Pijus. Music Transforms Travel into Memories    There’s a reason why In the year 2026, the best travel videos don’t have to be the most flashy; instead, they have to “Feel Real”.   The right song:   Slows time   Adds emotion   Creates memory   Makes people stay   If you have a reel that pauses people, gets them to feel, and imagine themselves in the place you’re at, you chose the right song.  Want to revel in some child-like fun like my friend Subhasree? A young lady of 25, she still finds The Singing Walrus’s travel song delightful. “I’m on my way/ To a new place…” This is where all travel stories begin. Isn’t it? BY  Abdul Aziz May 1, 2024

Many of the countries in South America are popular for their exquisite and varied cuisine. However, the practices of Paraguay food are not known to many. The Paraguayan Cuisine has been influenced by the local indigenous tribe’s culinary traditions and practices brought by immigrants from Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Being a foodie myself, I love traveling around the world to have a taste of every new variety of food that the world has to offer. Visiting remote areas, meeting with new people, and trying out their traditional dishes is what I have always loved! I was also in your shoes when I first landed in Paraguay, a bit startled and confused. Although, as I began to explore, my first meal at a fancy restaurant in Asuncion changed my entire perception of the state.  Tid-Bits About Paraguay Food Classic Paraguay food includes some of the most exclusive dishes that are bound to beat any of the Peruvian or Argentine preparations. Traditional culinary elements in Paraguay food recipes consist of meat, maize, vegetables, manioc, cheese, fish, milk, and even fruits.  ‘Asado’ is a local term used for barbecue, which is referred to as both a cooking practice and a social event. In Paraguay, barbecuing is the most important mode of cooking their traditional Paraguayan food dishes.  Here in this article, I will elucidate the best dishes and popular foods in Paraguay that you must try in Paraguay this year. The Paraguay famous foods excite your taste buds and have an experience like never before.  1. Kivevé You will be stuck in a dilemma whether to count this as a main course or a dessert. Kieve is the most popular and loved Paraguay food. It is a vegetarian dish that is cooked out of andai (a type of juicy pumpkin), cornmeal, Paraguayan cheese, milk, and sugar. Kieve is a typical food in Paraguay. It has a very creamy and light texture and is orangish in color. This rich-flavored delicacy is served lukewarm and is often consumed as a side dish or even main meal, at breakfasts, and as an evening snack. 2. Chipa Considered a staple Paraguay food, Chipa is a simple bread roll that was invented by the local indigenous people in the 18th century. It is a bun that is made out of manioc or cassava flour, lard, and anise, and beaten eggs and cheese. There are different versions of Chipa available, varying over the regional influences. The bread has a very crunchy crust due to the addition of lard. The crumb is soft and has a unique flavor. It is prepared and consumed by every household in the state.  3. Bori Bori Bori-Bori (Vori-Vori) is a nutritious and flavorful thick soup that is prepared out of vegetables such as carrots, celery, onions. It is filled with meat (chicken or beef) and dumplings of cornmeal plus cheese. The prime flavoring ingredients in this soup are bay leaves, cloves, and parsley. The addition of saffron to this hearty broth makes it even more flavorful and rich golden in color. It must be served piping hot, garnished with some parsley and Paraguayan cheese on the side. It is especially popular during the winters.  4. Sopa Paraguaya This specialty is not what it sounds like. Even though SOPA translates to soup in the local language, it is not at all in the vicinity of any soupy preparations. It is the national dish of Paraguay, which resembles a cakey thick bread.  It is crafted out of cornflour, cheese, milk, and eggs. The flavor is inculcated through the use of onions and pork fat. It is usually baked and is often termed solid soup. It has a soft and crumbly texture and is served on special occasions as a side dish.  5. Mbeju Mbeju, when translated to the local Guarani language, means cake. It is a very simple and staple Paraguay food. It is a kind of starchy pancake that is prepared with cassava flour, salt, oil, milk, eggs, crumbled cheese, and even pork fat. The dough is kneaded well and rolled out thickly like a pancake. It is then fried in hot oil. It is usually consumed during breakfast, sometimes dinner, alongside a bitter herbal tea or coffee.  6.
