Whether you want to spend your time charting the rugged terrain or take a more aesthetic tour, Moab will leave you spoiled for choice. Arches National Park For good reason, Arches National Park is one of the most well-liked national parks in the union and one of the best things to do in Moab Utah. In addition to many other fascinating rock formations, the park is home to over 2,000 naturally occurring stone arches. Popular summertime activities in this area include hiking and camping but remember to pack plenty of water because summer temperatures can soar. Both inside the park and near Moab, there are many campgrounds. If you're more of a cabin person than a tent camper, there are even some stunning locations in the La Sal Mountains. It is impossible to visit Moab, Utah, and not take in Arches National Park. Just off the highway, you can easily explore many of the park's iconic features. Moreover, you can take a guided van tour in the morning or evening or go for a solo drive. A guided van tour also has several benefits. You can get away from the wheel so you can look around the park and have a good time. Hiking Since hiking is one of the top things to do in Moab Utah, why not incorporate some Creekside trails, arches, and hidden grottoes into your hike? Its breathtaking position, background, and sun angle are what make it so famous for Olympic Torch parades, license plates, and countless postcards. You can't help but wonder if this landscape is better known as "Landscape Arch" because it is so visually appealing. The real Landscape Arch appears to defy gravity with its fragile, slender, and, well, delicate profile. It is an easy hike but much harder to fit in a camera frame. These two visually stunning and somewhat strenuous arches are well worth the hike. Hike To Fisher Towers From certain vantage points within Castle Valley below, these enormous towers seem like they belong to a National Park or monument. They rise almost a thousand feet above the desert floor. Rock climbing is a hugely popular activity in Moab, and experienced climbers can enjoy a demanding and rewarding view from the Fisher Towers. In Moab, beginner climbs are advised elsewhere. It's breathtaking enough to hike the winding trail at the base of the towers. Ropes are not necessary to enjoy this breathtaking view! It truly gives you the impression that you have been somewhere deserving of the moniker "The West." The way the area glows at dusk, and the silhouettes of notable rock castles in the valley below are awe-inspiring. In the afternoon and evening, there's not much shade, so be sure to pack water for the hike. Ride the Moab Zip Line You can soar like a raven from domes, sandstone ledges, and fins across a vast desert rimmed by snow-capped mountains. Zipline tours are always fun, no matter where you are. Better yet, you can easily reach this incredibly entertaining activity in Moab from the northern end of Main Street. A wild 4x4 ride up the mountainside will take you above the town and onto the edge of a completely different landscape. It is otherwise blinded from view. These tours take place nearly all day, so you can schedule them around a lot of the other Moab activities we've already covered. Overlook the Dead Horse Point Undoubtedly, one of the best things to do in Moab, Utah, is to take in the expansive view from this conveniently located overlook during the morning or evening hours. This State Park will inspire you even in the flat midday sun. As the Colorado River approaches the deeper maze of gorges in Canyonlands National Park, its goosenecks flow hundreds of feet below. It includes the Cataract Canyon. Consider going on a guided mountain biking tour on the easy-to-moderate trails. They circle the Dead Horse Point area if you're looking for an enjoyable activity to do while you're here. There are several breathtaking scenic overlooks on the tour. Rent a Jeep to Remote Parts In Moab, driving a Jeep seems natural. Cars are perfectly adequate for getting around. But there is something about the big, bristly Yokohama tires, the satellite radio, and the ice-filled cooler in the back. It just makes you want to explore. Moab is a haven for off-road adventure seekers. There are odd dirt roads in the area around Moab. They go in all directions without going anywhere. But there are many breathtaking viewpoints along the way! The early 1950s and 1960s uranium mining boom left Moab with an abundance of these "off-road" (or dirt roads) routes that lead nowhere. Rock Climbing Yosemite Valley and El Capitan are not the only well-known locations among rock climbers. Known as a tributary of Canyonlands National Park, Indian Creek features some of the most sought-after crack climbs in the world. The summit of the Fisher Tower is a momentous occasion commemorated in many TV commercials and gear catalogs. Some of them are Castleton Tower or the Titan. Grandview Point in Canyonlands National Park It's difficult not to recommend visiting Mesa Arch while at Dead Horse Point. It is barely minutes from Dead Horse Point State Park and lies just beyond the border of Canyonlands National Park. Mesa Arch, which frames the scene with a massive arch, offers a similar incredible view as Dead Horse Point however, from a different angle that faces east. For the classic shot of the early light glowing under the arch, photographers swarm to this conveniently located overlook. However, if you happen to visit on a Sunday afternoon and appear to be alone, you may feel so reverent that you may want to take off your shoes. However, you should probably wait to do that until you've located a seat. Consider heading south on Grandview Point Road to the road's namesake point at the end if you want to turn it into a Sunday drive. It really is quite grand. You will wonder what lies beneath those depths and around the corner. You should also consider another exciting way to explore the stone wilderness that lies in front of you. Multi-Day Rafting Trip If you are serious about getting off the beaten path while in Moab, then you must consider an overnight expedition-level rafting trip. These multi-day whitewater rafting experiences transport you to and from isolated dir airstrips. It is as far-flung as an Alaskan bush plane could travel. Imagine spending four or five days floating nearly 100 miles. Then, you could come back to Moab to complete whatever else is on your Moab bucket list. You will be a different person after participating in these "expedition-level" whitewater rafting experiences. Suddenly, you will know more about Moab and, more significantly, about yourself!  Wrapping Up Moab is one of the world's most breathtaking travel destinations. It promises breathtaking views at every turn, with deep canyons, tall mountains, and roaring rivers among its many natural features. Most of us think of the Nadi resort buffets when we are in Fiji. However, if you want to know the real food and soul of Fuji, you have to be in Suva. It is the “Melting Pot of the Pacific.” So, the food stalls and shops you find here are not tourist traps. With the fragrant smoke of BBQ everywhere, you always crave more. Furthermore, the sweet smell of pineapples and the earthy aroma of turmeric here are addictive. Also, there is a brilliant fusion of cooking techniques here. The food here blends the bold spices of India with the stir-frying technique of Canton. So, in Suva, staying cooped up in the hotel for breakfast would be a waste of time. So, let’s lace up the shoes and eat our way through the real Fiji. For more practical tips on exploring the Fiji capital like a local, you must read my Suva travel itinerary. Stop 1: Morning At Suva Municipal Market  The Suva Municipal Market is the place where you breathe and feel the city. If you have the right Suva market guide and you arrive here by 8 AM, you will find the freshest produce here. Exploring the Municipal Market is also very crucial if you want to explore the culture of Suva. • Try Tropical Fruit Tasting In Suva  The Fiji Gold pineapples are different. These fruits are sweeter and smaller compared to the alternatives found in Western supermarkets.  Other tropical fruits you will find here are Fijian chestnuts or Ivu nuts and Soursop. Soursop has a creamy custard flavor. • The Spicery Head to the spice floor of the market, and it’s okay if you feel sneezy with the aroma of coriander and cumin. Here, you will find authentic Garam Masala, so you can take the spice mix as souvenirs. Also, for the most authentic Fiji experience, get some Kava or Yaqona roots. Kava is the national drink of Fiji. It has an earthy taste and smell, and it’s a little numbing. • Have A Bean Cart Experience  Do you love Indian snacks? You can look for the glass wooden carts. You will find a snack mix or Bhujia here. This snack has fried noodles, peanuts, and peas. It is the ideal Suva snack. These snacks are the Suva Fiji hidden gems when we talk about an authentic food experience. Stop 2: The "Roti Parcel" Lunch  For a backpacker or a solo traveler, the Roti Parcel can be the ultimate convenient food. It tastes delicious, and it is a filling and affordable snack. Have you ever tried handmade Indian Rotis? These are the bases of Roti Parcel. These buttery Rotis are wrapped around a filling of dry curry. The dry curry is usually made of chicken, potato, and pumpkin. It is so convenient that you can do it even when you are on a walk. The Suva Bus Stand is the best area to try these Roti Parcels. There are many small kiosks and "holes-in-the-walls.” These places serve hundreds of Roti Parcels daily. Want to try the freshest Rotis? You must look for places where the queue of the office goers is the longest. Stop 3: The Curry Trail  Indo-Fijian cuisine has Indian spices. However, the dishes here are different. In the food here, you will use more local root vegetables. Furthermore, the dishes are spicier, and various cooking techniques are used in making them. Try eating at the following places to try vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indo-Fijian food. Indiana Curry House & Bar is the best place here to have lamb chops, tandoori chicken, and chicken butter masala. Govinda Vegetarian is the place to have Samosas, Barfi and Gulab Jamun. Stop 4: Indigenous Flavors You Must Try  To understand Fiji, you must eat Lovo (earth oven) style or stews thickened with coconut milk. It is the best local food to try in Suva Fiji. Kanalevu Kitchen or The Old Mill Cottage are the places to try Lovo in Suva. These places have an authentic vibe, and you will feel like being in your grandma’s kitchen. Another indigenous delicacy is Kokoda. This is Fiji’s take on ceviche. You can marinate the Spanish Mackarel in lime juice and then serve it with onions and chillies, and of course, a bowl of fresh coconut cream. The combination is heavenly, and it has the right balance of flavor punch and texture. Now, it’s getting really grand. Rourou Mutton is the ultimate Fijian comfort food. In this dish, the Taro leaves (Rourou) are simmered. After a while, they have a spinach-like consistency. You can cook tinned fish or mutton in this mix. Also, you must add plenty of coconut milk for the rich, creamy texture. You will love sitting on the veranda here and enjoying the sunset with a high tea or sunset cocktail. Food Intensity Guide: A Note For Travelers On A Suva Food Tour Fijian hot is not the same as Western hot. So, if you are in Fiji and a local tells you that the curry is medium spicy, you must know that it’s hot.  If you are not a local, your brows are going to sweat. The small Fijian chilies or the Bongo chilies are powerful. So, it is always safe to ask for a mild spice level. Furthermore, indigenous Fijian food relies heavily on root vegetables such as Cassava and Dalo, or Taro. These veggies are starchy, and the gravies made with them are dense. So, be mindful of the quantity of these dishes while eating. Practical Tips To Follow On A Suva Food Tour Hygiene: Stick to busy stalls where the turnover is high.  Water: Stick to bottled water or "Fiji Water" (which is actually cheaper here!).  Cash is King: While hotels take cards, the market vendors and roti shops are strictly cash-only (Fijian Dollars).  What Are The Best Expert Tips For Your Suva Food Tour?  A food tour is not just about what to have. You must understand the flavor, texture, and richness of the dish you are having. Furthermore, you have to be aware of the right time to have them. The local market stalls and street vendors do not accept cards. So, you have to carry $5 and $10 FJD bills. You will notice a heavy crowd at the curry houses between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM. So, if you want a seat, you must visit between 11 AM and 2 PM. You will have the tropical fruits or the roti parcels in your hands. So, you will need to wash your hands before and after eating. So, carry wet wipes and avoid public sinks. Don’t eat the fruits collected from the market without washing them. However, pineapples and bananas are safe. Is the tap water looking yellowish? There is rust in your water. So, it’s best to choose an Island Chill or Fiji water.  Fijian curry has meat with bones. So, be careful while chewing. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian division is followed strictly in Fiji. So, if you want to have pure veg food, you must look for the same sign. Tipping is not mandatory in Suva, Fiji. But you must leave a small change ($2-$5). It is a kind gesture in small eateries.  The Fiji dishes with Lolo or coconut milk are heavy and rich. So, you must not plan any heavy outdoor activity, such as hiking, after having these gravies. Yes, street food is usually safe in Suva. The specialties, such as the BBQ or Roti, are served fresh and hot. These lunch spots are walk-in. However, if you are having dinner at places such as GPH or Tiko’s, you have to book the place. 4. Can I Drink The Tap Water In Suva? Tap water is usually safe in Suva because it is chlorinated. However, if you are a tourist and have a sensitive stomach, you may fall sick.Also, sometimes, the tapwaters (especially in old buildings) have a yellowish color. This color comes from the rust, and you must not have it.Choose bottled water. 5. Are There Vegan Options In Suva? Yes! The Indian influence means Dhal (lentils) and vegetable curries are everywhere. Furthermore, the people here are very particular about the veg and non-veg contamination.So, you must look for the label Pure Vegetarian before having food at an eatery. 6. Another time to visit is between March, April, and May. Let me share important details about visiting Australia. I will share important places in the different regions, accordingly, deciding on the right weather to visit. Some of the best times you can see these places are the ones I will discuss in the article.  Want to know about things to do in Australia? Keep reading! You will also learn that sometimes it is not right for you to visit; hence, plan your trip accordingly. However, if you are willing to establish a holding company, Australia can be a great place to visit and explore first. The market is exciting, and companies in that place are eager to explore. Do You Know The Best Time To Visit Australia? Read All About It! An Amazing country, Australia is a perfect place for travelers. I am sharing how you can create an itinerary to visit Australia. Traveling to Australia makes you feel like you have reached a new world. Read more about this different world and how to make the best of it. Let me also share with you the climate of Australia based on its geography. As a traveller, you can decide which places to visit when there are different regions. The segregated areas are the perfect places to plan your itinerary! Regions and Their Best Time Let me break down Australia into different regions, and you can read about the climate in these regions. Furthermore, I will also share the climates of these regions with you so you can plan your visits accordingly. There are many climate maps available online. However, I am sharing with you this map, which was constructed using the data available from the Bureau of Meteorology's website. What I will share with you differs from the map I provide, but you get an idea. Check the map to learn about the general idea of climate and how it influences how you plan your itinerary when visiting Australia. Best Time to Visit Tropical North! If you plan to go to the northern section of Australia, be prepared for the tropical climate. This region consists of northern territory, Western Australia, and Queensland. This is a location that is mostly humid for most of the year. This region's natural landscapes are unique, with many rainforests and wildlife. Most of the plants and animals are interesting, massive, and colourful! I personally feel that waterfalls are lush, as the wilderness is completely wild, along with thriving coral reefs. You will experience flavorful and exotic fruits and vegetables. If you can brave the tremendous heat, there are some beautiful places you must visit, such as the Daintree Rainforest, Airlie Beach, the Great Barrier Reef, Darwin, Cape Range National Park, and Kakadu National Park. The best time to visit the north of Australia is between May and October. The region has both wet and dry seasons! The wet season persists from November to April. If you visit this region during this time, you will face extreme heat and humidity. Constant rain, tropical storms, and floods also occur during this time. Hence, it would be best to prepare for road closures due to floods. You might get stuck in these closures, leading to travel delays! During the wet season, many national parks are closed. In the dry season, which continues from May to October, you can visit to enjoy sunny beach days. Best Time to Visit Outback or Desert! In this region, I have sectioned northern territory, western Australia, South Australia, and rural NSW or QLD, mostly the remote regions of Australia. The country's middle can be highlighted as the outback, especially because it is away from the coast. The Aussies call it the Red Center, which refers to the southern part of the Northern Territory. You can check out these beautiful places in the country's center, such as Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Lake Eyre, Broken Hill, Watarrka National Park, and Coober Pedy. If you plan to visit this region of Australia, winter is the best time. The summers are dry and hot, while the winters are cool and mild. You should see it from June to August, especially because there is almost no rain. If you are camping in this region, you can pack a warm sleeping bag and clothes. Carry water when you visit the desert, considering you need to be hydrated. If you are planning tours during the daytime, please carry caps, sunglasses, and towels, as the heat is intense. Please don’t visit the outback region between November and March! Travelling is not fun when you are disturbed completely as the heat in the desert is extreme. Best Time to Visit Temperate South! The regions of coastal NSW, south Australia, south of Western Australia, and southern QLD all constitute the Temperate South. This region is considerable temperate with its hot summers and cold winters. However, several coastal places exist, such as the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Noosa. People mostly visit two specific regions in this section: New South Wales and Sydney. There are both summer and winter seasons. What's more, you can visit the Blue Mountains, where you can catch some snow during winter. The western region of Australia has a very similar climate to New South Wales! The beaches in Sydney are one of its kind which you must visit when you go!  The locations are beautiful, even though it can be chilly at times. You can check out places such as the Gold Coast, Kangaroo Island, Margaret River, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane, Blue Mountains, Noosa, Bondi Beach, and Byron Bay. You should consider what type of trip you are planning. During the summer, the place is quite crowded. Even when booking flight tickets, you will see they are very expensive. And yet, this is when all the beach parties are going on, even with the sunny and hot weather. The daylight stays long so you can participate in outdoor BBQs and parties! The weather is dreamy, and you can go hiking, sightseeing, surfing, and swimming! There are a lot of activities, along with positive vibes and beach parties. However, if you want to avoid the crowds, go during Spring or Autumn, as the weather is lovely. Even the flights are cheaper! Best Time to Visit Far South! When I talk about the far south, I mean locations such as Tasmania, Victoria, and Southwest NSW. Thus, the summers of these regions are quite warm while the winters are cold. You can visit during autumn and spring, as you can perform almost all outdoor activities. You can do everything from hiking and camping between December and February. Even the flight prices are quite low during this time, along with a chance to avoid the crowd! In Adelaide and Melbourne, the weather has cool temperatures or, at times, rain. We cannot forget the beaches in Melbourne and their beauty! You can plan to visit Mount Kosciuszko or snowy mountains for snowboarding or skiing. Of course, if you want consistent snow, you must go from June to September. If you travel to this region of Australia, you can visit Philip Island, Hobart, Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Cradle Mountain, and Bruny Island. Places like the Murray River Region offer all-season enjoyment! During winter, the flights are quite cheap, so you can visit during this time. Try to avoid the summer season, as it is one of the worst seasons to visit these regions. Finishing Off...
