Have you ever traveled to Aruba? What do you think about Aruba Airlines, the sole Airline working in the country? I was hoping you could read the article to learn about my experience with the Airline and highlight the benefits and the shortcomings.

Mr. Onno J. Swart founded the Flag Carrier. In 2010, charter operations were launched by the Airline by using the seven-seat Piper PA-31 Navajo. Further, in 2012, the Airline acquired exposure leading to an upgrade of its jet aircraft operations.

They operated with two Airbus A320 twin-engined with a capacity of 150 seats. They started covering places such as Venezuela, Panama, Santo Domingo, and Curacao; however, the last two destinations were later suspended.

Along the journey of Aruba Airlines, you can observe that the carrier started pretty well; however, later, the company faced issues with operations and maintenance.

This Is What I Felt About Aruba Airlines!

About Aruba Airlines

Aruba Airlines is a flag carrier founded in 2006 and acts as the sole Airline in Aruba. When it was first launched, it provided services such as charter and scheduled air transport to almost 13 destinations worldwide.

When I boarded one such flight, Bombardier CRJ200, which was leased from Voyageur Airways, I realized that it was spacious and comfortable; hence, there were fewer issues with the seating arrangement. Yet, I have needed help with operations and services.

I will be sharing my experience regarding the benefits and the shortcomings of the Airline. I will explain why I feel about Aruba Airlines the way I do and how the future will pan out!

Benefits Of Flying In Aruba Airlines

According to the official website of the Airline, www.arubaairlines.com, the flights will be suspended from 6 August due to the sanitary measures taken by the Curacao government. There are diverse features that are efficient for their customers.

Great Deals

There are significant deals and offers when customers book their flights. You can exceed different services such as charter, seasonal, and hub, based on which you can access the flights run by Aruba Airlines.

Expert Guidance

You get information regarding the flights’ countries, cities, and airports from which the flights operate. The fleet size of the Airline includes 2 aircraft, where currently only 1 is functioning for Sunair.

Price Match

The prices of the tickets are all mentioned on the official websites, and so are the additional fees. On the website, it is very clear that many of the flights are not functioning, including Bombardier CRJ200.

Easy Cancellation

Due to the self-service options, you can easily cancel the flights based on your convenience and requirements. The services that are informed online are mostly easy to deal with. For one, I didn’t face any issues while booking the tickets.

Disadvantages Of Flying In Aruba Airlines

Significant complaints against Aruba Airlines regarding their services and customer support have occurred. They do not have well-maintained schedules for the flights leading to serious flight delays.

Half of the time, the staff must learn what is happening, which has been quite frustrating for passengers.

No Coordination Between Staff

The staff needs to be more coordinated, and they need to inform the passengers regarding delayed flights or canceled flights.

Food And Beverages

The quality of drinks and food could be better, and apart from that, the prices are not at all affordable.

Customer Service

Customer service or support could be more efficient. The issues with asking for customer service lead to further problems and confusion for passengers.

Reviews About Aruba Airlines

Reviews About Aruba Airlines

According to Tripadvisor, Aruba Airlines has been rated as 2.5 out of 5 based on 129 reviews. The Airline has been complimented about cleanliness and boarding, as some reviews are quite positive about how efficient the staff was regarding the boarding experience.

People are neutral regarding the value of money when booking Aruba Airlines! I am also on the line regarding the prices of the tickets; sometimes, they were expensive, while at times, they were affordable.

The Airline has also not been dedicated enough to its services. My flight was late, and I have found similarities in the experience of many other travelers who should have been notified before the change of time of the flight or their delays.

However, based on most of the reviews, the experience of many fliers has been negative, which justifies their dissatisfaction with the Airline. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the services have further deteriorated.

One such review by Angela Nijhuizen highlights the terrible customer service and support by Aruba Airlines in her comments.

My flight to Las piedras has been cancelled due to closing of Venezuela airspace. After 4 years of contact, begging, sending mail from 2019 march till march 2023 I decided to give up on them. If this airline is going to fly again. Please NEVER EVER fly with this crap. Bad…

Another negative review that further confirms the dissatisfaction of the travelers is made by Angel Garcia, who traveled in January 2022.

This airline who has sold tickets in cuba for thousands of dollars to either Managua, Nicaragua or Georgetown, Guyana , has suspended all flights from cuba and also has shut down their customer service number to any of those who wants to claim their money back , leaving…

A review that acts as a nail in the coffin for Aruba Airlines is done by STZ01, where the traveler was completely frustrated with the cancellation of their flight. I could relate to this frustration, especially because the same thing happened to both of us.

We were informed of the cancellation after we reached the airport. It confirms the need for more professionalism and the communication gap.

My flight was cancelled and I wa snotified when I reached the airport – no previous call/communication. I was promised a refund and six months later am still waiting for this to happen! My advise is to stay away from this airline by all means…

Another review compared the Airline to the plague as the traveler had one of the worst experiences. They also wanted more customer service from the airlines.

Aruba Airlines changed my Curacao to Aruba flight time substantially so I reached out to their Refund Department on February 8th to cancel the flight completely and obtain a full refund. I never heard back from them. I called their Customer Service line twice but was hung up on…

Conclusion

After reading this article, you will understand that there have been considerable service and customer support issues. In my flight experience, this was one of the most haphazard experiences that was completely coordinated, and most of it will be blamed on the company.

Apart from what I felt, I have also highlighted significant reviews by people who have booked tickets with Aruba Airlines. After you read them, you clearly understand why people are unsatisfied with the airline’s services.

Comment below about some of the features that must be present in the airline according to you!

Savoring Local Flavors Gatlinburg, nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, is a culinary treasure trove renowned for its diverse and delicious food offerings. These establishments not only offer delicious cuts of meat but also provide a taste of the local flavors and cooking styles. To find the best steakhouses, look for places crowded with locals, as they often know the top spots for authentic and tasty food. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations from local residents or your hotel staff. Remember, part of the adventure is discovering hidden gems that aren't always in the guidebooks. Street Food Adventures Street food is the heart and soul of many cuisines around the world. It's where you'll find the most authentic, traditional, and often innovative dishes. From the bustling markets in Asia to the colorful food trucks in the Americas, street food provides an unfiltered experience of a country's culinary essence. However, it's important to eat street food safely.  Always choose stalls where the food is prepared fresh in front of you, and the turnover of customers is high – it's a good sign of freshness and quality. Also, follow the locals — they know where the best and safest food can be found. Food Markets Food markets are vibrant hubs of activity and the epicenter of local cuisine. These markets offer a variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and other artisanal goods. They are ideal places to sample a range of dishes and ingredients unique to the region. Engage with local vendors to learn more about the food you're buying — many will be happy to share recipes or cooking tips. Markets are not just about food; they're cultural experiences that engage all your senses. Food Tours and Cooking Classes Participating in organized food tours and cooking classes is a fantastic way to delve deeper into a region's culinary traditions. These tours, often led by local experts, take you off the beaten path to try the best food that you might not find on your own.  Cooking classes, on the other hand, offer a hands-on experience, teaching you how to prepare local dishes, which is a skill you can take home. These activities provide not only culinary delights but also insights into the local way of life. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies Traveling with dietary restrictions or food allergies can be challenging, but with a bit of planning, it's entirely manageable. Research the local cuisine beforehand to identify dishes that meet your dietary needs. Learning key phrases in the local language to communicate your dietary restrictions can be incredibly helpful.  Additionally, consider carrying allergy cards written in the local language to convey your dietary needs clearly. Many restaurants are now accustomed to handling special dietary requests, so don't hesitate to communicate your needs. Pairing Food with Local Beverages A great meal becomes exceptional when paired with the right beverage. When traveling, seize the opportunity to taste local drinks that complement the cuisine. In wine-producing regions, visiting a vineyard can offer insights into pairing local wines with regional dishes. In places known for their breweries, a craft beer might be the perfect match for a hearty meal.  Non-alcoholic options, such as traditional teas or coffees, also play a significant role in some cultures. The key is to ask locals or your server for recommendations, as they can guide you to pairings that elevate your dining experience. Documenting Your Culinary Journey Documenting your food adventures enriches the experience and lets you share it with others. Start a travel food blog or use social media to post your culinary discoveries. When photographing food, try to capture the essence of the dish and the atmosphere of the place. Sharing stories behind the dishes can make your content more engaging. This not only creates a personal memento of your journey but can also guide other food enthusiasts in their travels. Sustainable and Ethical Eating As a foodie traveler, it's important to consider the impact of your dining choices. Opt for restaurants that source ingredients locally and practice sustainable methods. This supports the local economy and reduces the environmental impact. Additionally, being mindful of food waste and respecting local customs and cuisines are crucial aspects of ethical eating. In some cultures, certain foods may be considered delicacies, and trying them can be a way of honoring local traditions while also being conscious of ethical considerations. Budget-Friendly Foodie Travel Enjoying a world of flavors doesn't have to break the bank. Look for local eateries off the beaten path, as they often offer delicious food at lower prices than tourist hotspots. Street food is another affordable option that provides authentic taste experiences. Planning your meals and setting a daily budget can also help manage expenses. Remember, some of the best food experiences come from simple, humble places. Conclusion Exploring the world through taste is not just about indulging in different cuisines; it's about connecting with diverse cultures and traditions. Each dish tells a story, and each flavor opens a new window to understanding a place and its people. As you embark on your culinary journeys, remember to embrace local traditions, respect sustainable practices, and cherish the memories you create. So, pack your appetite and let your taste buds lead the way to unforgettable experiences. Why Cuba Is Worth Visiting In 2026?

BY  Sibashree Dec 4, 2025

Cuba is one of those places you think you understand from photos until you actually get there and realize you didn’t even come close. The island has this weirdly charming mix of worn-out glory and everyday warmth.  Old American cars still rumble past buildings that look like they’ve soaked up decades of stories. And 2026, honestly, feels like a sweet moment to go, open enough for travelers but not yet “over fixed” by crowds or shiny tourist shops. You still get the raw edges that make a place memorable. Also, Juan Carlos García Granda, the honorable Minister of Tourism, Cuba, spoke to the Canadian travel trade recently, and he mentioned how the country has been recovering swiftly from Hurricane Melissa.  Furthermore, with the mention of “Canadians are our most important visitors,” he said that Cuba aims to welcome one million Canadian visitors in 2026. So, the tourism scene in Cuba looks promising, speaking to the resilience and strength of the country.  It also means that despite a drop in the tourist numbers in the first nine months of 2025, Cuba expects a strong comeback in 2026. This is more crucial, considering the tourism industry is a major economic driver and employment generator in the country.  But how is traveling to Cuba in 2026 going to be special? I will talk about Cuba’s cultural richness, history, biodiversity, and more in this article.  Traveling To Cuba In 2026? Know Why It Is Worth It With the exotic rhythms of Salsa and Rumba coming from every corner, and history speaking through the roads and alleys of Old Havana, Cuba continues to impress. With 1.1 million annual visitors, it has secured the 93rd position among 202 countries ranked by the World Travel and Tourism Council.  Here are the reasons why you will plan to travel to Cuba in 2026.  1. A Living Time Capsule Walking through Havana sometimes feels like you accidentally wandered into a film set nobody bothered to shut down.  The Malecón stretches along the sea like a giant sidewalk where half the city hangs out as the sun goes down. Kids chasing each other, someone playing music too loudly, random folks fishing even when it looks like nothing’s biting! Old Havana adds another layer with its crumbling balconies, repaired facades, and the kind of street corners that seem to whisper old stories. And yes, the famous 1950s cars are absolutely real. You’ll probably end up in one before you can even think about it. Around 60,000 classic American cars still run because, years back, people had no choice but to keep fixing what they had.  Riding in one feels slightly shaky, slightly magical, like history decided to give you a lift. 2. Cultural Richness Beyond Compare Cuban culture doesn’t really let you take a break. Music is everywhere, pouring from open doors, bouncing off walls, floating down streets without any concern for volume levels.  One minute it’s rumba, then suddenly salsa, then something you can’t even name but you feel it anyway.  This isn’t a show put on for tourists; it’s just life. Buena Vista Social Club got the world’s attention years ago, but hearing a live band in a small room with wooden chairs and sweaty walls? That’s the real thing. Art pops out of unexpected places, too. You’ll see murals so bold you’ll stop walking without realizing it.  Local galleries showcase painters who already have collectors overseas. And when the Havana Biennial hits, the entire city feels like someone lifted the lid off a creative pressure cooker. 3. Natural Beauty And Biodiversity Leave the city for a bit, and Cuba changes faces fast. Varadero Beach is so long and blue that it feels almost surreal. Then you have the Valle de Viñales with its strange mogotes rising from tobacco farms where people still work the way their great-grandparents did. Cuba also protects one of the Caribbean’s largest reef systems. Jardines de la Reina is only reachable by boat and basically untouched.  Divers see sharks drifting by like they own the place (they kind of do), coral in impossible shapes, sea turtles gliding slowly like they’re late for nothing.  With around twenty percent of its waters protected, the island feels alive in a way many places don’t anymore. And for bird lovers? Heaven. There are over 350 species, including the tiny bee hummingbird, so small it looks like someone accidentally made it miniature. 4. Authentic Culinary Experiences Cuban cuisine isn’t fussy. It’s comforting in that “someone’s abuela cooked this” kind of way. Ropa vieja, congri, roasted pork—simple dishes that feel honest. Seafood shows up almost everywhere, which isn’t surprising. Paladares (those home-run restaurants) give the dining scene a more personal feel. Some places keep things old-school; others experiment. Either way, the vibe is relaxed and a little unpredictable. Coffee is strong enough to wake the dead—and sweet enough to take the edge off. And rum? People take it seriously. Distillery tours walk you through the aging process, and before you know it, you’re thinking about which bottle you can actually fit in your bag. Practical Considerations For Traveling To Cuba In 2026 Traveling to Cuba means sorting out a few basics. Most visitors need a tourist card. Americans still have those official categories to fit into, such as cultural, educational, and humanitarian. You can find Cuba visa information here to understand specific requirements by nationality. The old dual-currency system is finally gone, which makes life easier. But cash is still king since many foreign cards simply don’t function. ATMs outside the bigger cities aren’t always reliable, so planning saves you headaches. WiFi has improved a bit, but it’s still slow enough that you’ll probably give up on scrolling and look around more. Parks and hotels offer hotspots, though you might catch yourself enjoying the digital break after a day or two. Put all of this together, and 2026 becomes one of those rare windows where you can see Cuba before big tourism polishes it too much. The music, the laughter, the slightly chaotic streets, the views that sneak up on you! Cuba doesn’t fade from memory quickly. It lingers in the nicest way.

No Deposit Car Rental in Milan: Is It Really Possible?

BY  Sibashree Nov 27, 2025

Milan attracts business travelers, fashion lovers and city break fans all year. Many guests want full freedom of movement without blocking a large sum on a bank card. That is why the phrase “no deposit car rental in Milan” appears in search results so often. The key question is simple. Is it a marketing slogan or a real option that travelers can book with confidence. How Standard Car Rental Works In Milan To understand no deposit solutions we first need to look at the classic model. Most rental companies in Milan airports and city offices block a security amount on a credit card. This sum covers possible damage, missing fuel, late return or unpaid fines. The amount depends on car class, insurance type and rental duration. For compact cars it can already feel high for many travelers. The blocked amount is not charged if everything is fine at return. Still it stays unavailable on the card for several days. For a short city trip this lock can seriously reduce the available limit. For guests who do not use credit cards at all this scheme is often not an option. This is the point where no deposit rental comes into play. What Does No Deposit Car Rental In Milan Really Mean The term “no deposit” covers several different formats. The first format is a real zero security block. The renter pays only the rental price and optional extras. The company takes responsibility for most risks through insurance. A second format is a symbolic deposit that is much smaller than standard deposits. A third format uses a small prepayment and covers the rest through enhanced protection packages. For the traveler it is important to read what stands behind the phrase. Some offers include full insurance with very low excess. Others combine no deposit with stricter rules on mileage or crossing borders. A professional broker or platform explains these details in clear language and shows the total cost before booking. Is It Possible To Rent A Car Without Deposit And Credit Card In Milan In practice such offers exist. They are usually provided by local partners who focus on flexible payment methods and insurance based models. Many of them accept debit cards. Some allow cash payment for the rental price at pickup if the customer books in advance. Availability depends on season, car type and pickup point. It is easier to find no deposit options for small and medium cars than for luxury models. Our team at RentCarFy has seen rising demand for such solutions from guests who prefer clear prices instead of frozen funds on their cards. For travelers who wish to avoid a classic security block, platforms like No Deposit Car Rental in Milan collect offers where deposit is reduced or removed and where debit card or cash payment is possible, subject to local conditions. Expert View On Risks And Protection From an industry perspective no deposit does not mean no risk. The risk is managed in a different way. Instead of using the customer’s blocked funds the company relies on insurance and internal risk models. As a result the daily rate for a car can be slightly higher. At the same time the traveler gains financial comfort. There is no need to monitor card limits or wait for the unblock after the trip. Based on large numbers of confirmed bookings in Milan we see that many guests happily accept a moderate price difference if they avoid a high deposit. This is especially true for families and business travelers who already use their credit line for hotels, restaurants and shopping. Transparent coverage and clear rules are more important than the last euro of savings. Typical Requirements For No Deposit Rentals Even when the deposit is removed, standard rental rules apply. Drivers must present a valid driving license, usually held for a minimum period. A passport or identity card is also required. The main driver’s name must match the payment method in most cases. Age limits can be stricter than with classic offers, especially for powerful cars. Some partners introduce an additional rule for young or very inexperienced drivers. They may need to take a higher level insurance package if they want a no deposit option. Many cars are offered with unlimited mileage which is ideal for day trips around Lombardy. It is still essential to check if travel to other regions or countries is allowed before booking. Price Difference Between Classic And No Deposit Offers When we compare bookings over the year we notice a clear pattern. Classic offers with a standard deposit usually show the lowest headline price. No deposit options can look slightly more expensive at first glance. The key is to compare total cost and risk. In a no deposit model the insurance level is often higher and financial exposure of the customer is lower. For many guests the real cost of a trip is not only the rental price. Stress related to a large blocked sum on a card also matters. A carefully selected no deposit contract can reduce this stress and still keep the budget under control. This is especially visible in peak months when standard deposits grow with rising car values. How To Choose A Reliable No Deposit Provider In Milan Reputation and clarity of terms are vital. We recommend a short checklist for every reservation. Check what kind of insurance is included and what is covered. Read the excess level in case of damage or theft. Look at fuel rules and airport or city surcharges. Verify if roadside assistance is part of the package and in which languages support is available. Read recent customer reviews and look for comments about billing and returns. Check if the mileage policy matches your travel plan in and around Milan. Clarify conditions for late pickup or delayed flights. Ask in advance about child seats, GPS and other extras if you need them. Keep all documents and inspection photos from pickup and return. Common Pitfalls To Avoid The most common problem is misunderstanding of what “no deposit” really covers. Sometimes a deposit is not blocked, but the excess remains high. In that case damage can still lead to a serious bill. Another risk appears when drivers ignore local traffic rules and restricted zones in the historic center. Fines can arrive weeks later and are usually charged directly to the card or invoiced by the rental firm. Careful reading of the rental agreement reduces these risks. We always advise customers to take clear photos of the car at pickup and return and to ask the staff to confirm the condition in writing. This simple habit protects both the driver and the rental company and makes communication smoother if questions appear later. When No Deposit Car Rental In Milan Is A Smart Choice No deposit rental suits travelers who prefer firm control of their budget. It helps guests who do not own a classic credit card or who use a corporate card that cannot be used for personal deposits. It is also a good match for longer trips where a large blocked sum would stay frozen for many days. In these cases a slightly higher daily price is a fair trade for peace of mind. Milan and the surrounding region offer many scenic drives, lakes and historic towns. A flexible rental product opens this area without adding financial tension. With the right partner, clear insurance and transparent prices, no deposit car rental in Milan moves from theory to a very practical and realistic option for many visitors.
