Have you ever traveled to Aruba? What do you think about Aruba Airlines, the sole Airline working in the country? I was hoping you could read the article to learn about my experience with the Airline and highlight the benefits and the shortcomings.
Mr. Onno J. Swart founded the Flag Carrier. In 2010, charter operations were launched by the Airline by using the seven-seat Piper PA-31 Navajo. Further, in 2012, the Airline acquired exposure leading to an upgrade of its jet aircraft operations.
They operated with two Airbus A320 twin-engined with a capacity of 150 seats. They started covering places such as Venezuela, Panama, Santo Domingo, and Curacao; however, the last two destinations were later suspended.
Along the journey of Aruba Airlines, you can observe that the carrier started pretty well; however, later, the company faced issues with operations and maintenance.
This Is What I Felt About Aruba Airlines!

Aruba Airlines is a flag carrier founded in 2006 and acts as the sole Airline in Aruba. When it was first launched, it provided services such as charter and scheduled air transport to almost 13 destinations worldwide.
When I boarded one such flight, Bombardier CRJ200, which was leased from Voyageur Airways, I realized that it was spacious and comfortable; hence, there were fewer issues with the seating arrangement. Yet, I have needed help with operations and services.
I will be sharing my experience regarding the benefits and the shortcomings of the Airline. I will explain why I feel about Aruba Airlines the way I do and how the future will pan out!
Benefits Of Flying In Aruba Airlines
According to the official website of the Airline, www.arubaairlines.com, the flights will be suspended from 6 August due to the sanitary measures taken by the Curacao government. There are diverse features that are efficient for their customers.
Great Deals
There are significant deals and offers when customers book their flights. You can exceed different services such as charter, seasonal, and hub, based on which you can access the flights run by Aruba Airlines.
Expert Guidance
You get information regarding the flights’ countries, cities, and airports from which the flights operate. The fleet size of the Airline includes 2 aircraft, where currently only 1 is functioning for Sunair.
Price Match
The prices of the tickets are all mentioned on the official websites, and so are the additional fees. On the website, it is very clear that many of the flights are not functioning, including Bombardier CRJ200.
Easy Cancellation
Due to the self-service options, you can easily cancel the flights based on your convenience and requirements. The services that are informed online are mostly easy to deal with. For one, I didn’t face any issues while booking the tickets.
Disadvantages Of Flying In Aruba Airlines
Significant complaints against Aruba Airlines regarding their services and customer support have occurred. They do not have well-maintained schedules for the flights leading to serious flight delays.
Half of the time, the staff must learn what is happening, which has been quite frustrating for passengers.
No Coordination Between Staff
The staff needs to be more coordinated, and they need to inform the passengers regarding delayed flights or canceled flights.
Food And Beverages
The quality of drinks and food could be better, and apart from that, the prices are not at all affordable.
Customer Service
Customer service or support could be more efficient. The issues with asking for customer service lead to further problems and confusion for passengers.
Reviews About Aruba Airlines
According to Tripadvisor, Aruba Airlines has been rated as 2.5 out of 5 based on 129 reviews. The Airline has been complimented about cleanliness and boarding, as some reviews are quite positive about how efficient the staff was regarding the boarding experience.
People are neutral regarding the value of money when booking Aruba Airlines! I am also on the line regarding the prices of the tickets; sometimes, they were expensive, while at times, they were affordable.
The Airline has also not been dedicated enough to its services. My flight was late, and I have found similarities in the experience of many other travelers who should have been notified before the change of time of the flight or their delays.
However, based on most of the reviews, the experience of many fliers has been negative, which justifies their dissatisfaction with the Airline. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the services have further deteriorated.
One such review by Angela Nijhuizen highlights the terrible customer service and support by Aruba Airlines in her comments.
“My flight to Las piedras has been cancelled due to closing of Venezuela airspace. After 4 years of contact, begging, sending mail from 2019 march till march 2023 I decided to give up on them. If this airline is going to fly again. Please NEVER EVER fly with this crap. Bad…“
Another negative review that further confirms the dissatisfaction of the travelers is made by Angel Garcia, who traveled in January 2022.
“This airline who has sold tickets in cuba for thousands of dollars to either Managua, Nicaragua or Georgetown, Guyana , has suspended all flights from cuba and also has shut down their customer service number to any of those who wants to claim their money back , leaving…“
A review that acts as a nail in the coffin for Aruba Airlines is done by STZ01, where the traveler was completely frustrated with the cancellation of their flight. I could relate to this frustration, especially because the same thing happened to both of us.
We were informed of the cancellation after we reached the airport. It confirms the need for more professionalism and the communication gap.
“My flight was cancelled and I wa snotified when I reached the airport – no previous call/communication. I was promised a refund and six months later am still waiting for this to happen! My advise is to stay away from this airline by all means…“
Another review compared the Airline to the plague as the traveler had one of the worst experiences. They also wanted more customer service from the airlines.
“Aruba Airlines changed my Curacao to Aruba flight time substantially so I reached out to their Refund Department on February 8th to cancel the flight completely and obtain a full refund. I never heard back from them. I called their Customer Service line twice but was hung up on…“
Conclusion
After reading this article, you will understand that there have been considerable service and customer support issues. In my flight experience, this was one of the most haphazard experiences that was completely coordinated, and most of it will be blamed on the company.
Apart from what I felt, I have also highlighted significant reviews by people who have booked tickets with Aruba Airlines. After you read them, you clearly understand why people are unsatisfied with the airline’s services.
Comment below about some of the features that must be present in the airline according to you!

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allows Indian residents to carry cash of up to INR 25000 or USD 270 when they are taking a domestic flight.
Furthermore, this guideline is important to understand the legal limits on how much cash a resident or non-resident traveler can carry when taking a domestic flight.
These guidelines are also applicable when residents and non-residents are coming to or leaving India.
Now, we need to carry some cash when traveling for the convenience and flexibility to manage the expenses during the journey.
Cash is handy for shopping and paying for accommodation, food, and conveyance. Also, sometimes, the digital modes of payment are unavailable or limited.
So, here is your answer to “How much cash can I carry in domestic flight?”
How Much Cash Can I Carry On An International Flight?
According to the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines, Indian travelers cannot carry above INR 25000 when taking an international flight.
However, how much cash you can carry on an international flight will also depend on the country you are visiting.
Also, you have to declare the amount of cash you are carrying on an international flight if the amount exceeds the limit.
Can I Carry Cash In My Check-In Baggage?
Everyone asks, “Can I carry cash in check-in baggage?” Yes, of course you can.
However, you have to adhere to the legal limits on how much cash you can carry.
Also, as mentioned, make a declaration to the customs authorities at the entry port or airport if the amount exceeds the limit.
What Happens If I Exceed The Limit?
If you exceed the limit and don’t make a declaration about the same to the concerned authorities, you will have to pay a penalty.
Now, this penalty can be a fine, or the authorities can confiscate the excess cash.
So, you must follow the guidelines and limits of carrying cash when taking a domestic or international flight.
How Can I Carry Cash Safely When Traveling?
You can follow a simple step-by-step process to keep your cash safe when you are traveling.
1. Divide The Cash
Do not keep all the cash in a single bag or place. You can keep the money in multiple places.
Also, you can divide the money and keep it in different pockets or bags.
Thus, you can avoid complete loss.
2. Carry A Hidden Pouch
You can carry a hidden wallet or pouch under your clothes. Thus, you can protect the money from pickpockets.
3. Keep Emergency Contacts
You must have access to the list of emergency contacts. If you lose your card or cash, you can contact them immediately.
Your emergency contacts include your credit card company and bank.
To sum up, you must know the legal limits to avoid problems or paying a penalty when you are traveling with cash.
Traveling with cash ensures flexibility and convenience. However, you must follow the limit.

Is Houston A Party City? Know The Fun Things To Do In Houston For A Happening Nightlife.
I remember my first quiet Sunday in Paris—it caught me off guard. The whole city just… slowed down. No horns, no rush, just this calm hum underneath everything. You could actually hear the church bells bouncing off the empty streets.
It will feel a bit strange at first. You will feel like you woke up before the world did. Some of the shops will be shut, some light spilling over the rooftops, and the air will smell like freshly baked bread.
By mid-morning, the city will wake up again, but this time it will be slow. The shops will open, and you will notice people moving around, communicating with others. Things will seem slow and cozy, and you will see how these people enjoy life.
Same with Rue Mouffetard—music from nowhere, old ladies arguing over fruit, a kid tugging at his mom’s sleeve. Even Batignolles, tucked away from the usual crowd, hums with its own little rhythm.
There are various things to do on Sunday in Paris, as the major attractions might be closed. Some of the major markets and shops will not open. So, it is important that you plan something nice and simple and just enjoy life in Paris for a day. Take things slow.
Increasingly, travelers are planning their itineraries around this day of calm discovery, aided by thoughtfully designed all inclusive holidays to Paris that include cultural experiences off the beaten path, offering a deeper glimpse into authentic Parisian life.
Things To Do On Sunday In Paris
Lately, people have caught on to this slower Paris. Paris vacation packages even have it built in now—whole days with no schedule, just “see what happens.” I used one once, through Travelodeal maybe, and their whole pitch was to live like a local.
That sounded like marketing fluff, but honestly, they weren’t wrong. They sent me to buy bread from a tiny boulangerie, told me to sit under the sycamores at Place des Vosges, and just watch people. Simple. Beautiful. You end up seeing a side of Paris that doesn’t try to impress you—it just is.
1. Market Mornings And Fresh Finds
If you can get yourself out early (I barely managed), the markets are wild in the best way. Marché Bastille is my favorite. It’s messy, loud, alive.
You will hear people arguing about prices, vendors shouting, and someone playing accordion like he is auditioning for a movie. Piles of tomatoes, a bunch of scarves, the smell of bread, everything will make you feel alive.
2. Stillness In The Streets
Then everything quiets down again. Around late morning, it’s like the city decides to take a nap. Montmartre, Le Marais—they turn soft and slow. Shutters half-closed, sunlight sliding across cobblestones, the occasional bike bell echoing through an alley.
You pass an artist sketching, someone leaning on a balcony, a couple holding hands, as if time had stopped for them. It’s cinematic, honestly. On a Sunday, walking across the Seine feels like walking through someone’s dream.
3. Long Lunches, Parisian-Style
Now, if there’s one thing Parisians take seriously, it’s Sunday lunch. You can’t rush it. Even if you tried, they’d probably ignore you until you relaxed.
Tables fill with families, old friends, strangers turned companions. You order steak-frites or roast chicken, maybe onion soup if you’re lucky. Bread everywhere, wine always flowing.
No one looks at their watch. Meals last hours—literally. You talk, eat, sip, pause, talk again. And dessert? You don’t skip it. Tarte Tatin, if you can find it. Or cheese. Always cheese.
4. Enjoy High Tea
Enjoying a high tea in Paris is one of the best things to do on a Sunday in Paris. Most of the big hotels also offer afternoon tea even on public holidays. The Ritz Paris offers afternoon tea, which creates a sense of occasion.
Afternoon tea at Le Meurice is something you should experience at least once in your lifetime. However, you will have to book this in advance as this is quite popular. Moreover, you can try afternoon tea at Le Bristol.
This is kind of a hidden gem, and not as popular as its competitors. It is less crowded and you will be able to visit it on public holidays as well. There is no reason to be crowded, but you have to book it in advance.
5. Parks And Picnics In Full Bloom
If the weather is sunny and pleasant, you need to get out. There is no point staying indoors. Visit one of the parks like Parc Monceau, Jardin du Luxembourg, and Buttes-Chaumont.
Kids enjoy the park; they chase pigeons. You will notice musicians singing by the fountains, and older couples sitting peacefully, enjoying the surroundings. All you will need is a bottle of wine, a baguette, and some cheese. Just sit around and watch life unfold around you.
6. Go Shopping
Among so many things to do on Sunday in Paris, there is no way to miss out on shopping. However, make sure there are no big holidays, or the stores will be closed. The designer shops and the big brands generally keep their store open on Sundays.
However, do not estimate the flea shops. The St. Ouen flea market is less crowded, and you will be able to shop easily there, and getting there is also not very difficult. It is a small site, and you will be able to browse through stuff easily, and the variety you get here is unmatched.
Where Everyday Life Becomes The Highlight
By evening, you realize how little you’ve done. There are so many things to do on Sunday in Paris. And somehow, that’s the magic.
Paris doesn’t need your checklist—it just wants you to slow down long enough to notice it. The soft chatter, the smell of bread, the light hitting the Seine—it all feels like a secret only you found.
Walking home that night, I remember thinking: nothing spectacular happened. No grand event, no story to brag about. Yet it felt like one of those rare days you actually lived instead of rushed through. That’s a Parisian Sunday for you. Quiet. Ordinary. And absolutely unforgettable.
