Its temperatures routinely rise above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks to its record-breaking temperatures, Death Valley in California is widely regarded as the hottest place on Earth. But you might be surprised by some of the other places on this list. Some of these locations are notorious for their year-round intense heat. Others have mild winter temperatures that rise to extremes as the weather warms. Here are the top hottest locations on the planet, the “hottest country in the world,” if you will.
