There are three instances I clearly remember from our trip to the Great Barrier Island, New Zealand. The best thing about the Great Barrier Island wildlife tours is that they begin even before you board the ferry.  Here, I will start with some fun moments we had while exploring the wildlife of Great Barrier Island, then gradually discuss the details. Aotea Great Barrier Island Environmental Trust “The principle activities of the Trust are in protecting, enhancing, developing and maintaining habitats for New Zealand native and endemic species on Aotea Great Barrier Island, with a particular focus on pest management…” Founded in 2002, this trust has been an advocate for conservation policies, has coordinated many conservation efforts, and earned funding for local conservation projects.  2. Aotea Conservation Park  The 2,000-hectare Aotea Conservation Park with walking tracks, DOC huts, and campsites makes the island an ideal destination for exploring the wildlife.  3. Marine Conservation  The Aotea Great Barrier Environmental Trust’s Tai Timu Tai Pari” or “Sea Change” initiative aims to protect the marine ecosystem of the Hauraki Gulf. Furthermore, the Department of Conservation (DOC) has proposed to build a large marine conservation area in the northeast corner of the island.  In addition, beach clean-ups and educational programs have been effective local endeavors to preserve the marine life of the island.  4. Biodiversity And Species Protection  The island is a critical nesting ground for the black petrels. The Department of Conservation takes care of the nesting ground.  Furthermore, around 60% of the pāteke population in New Zealand is present on the Great Barrier Island. These birds are frequently spotted in places such as Kaitoke Wetlands.  You can visit the Kaitoke Wetlands just before dusk. The Chevron Skink (Niho Taniwha) This large, rare lizard is found only on the Great Barrier and Little Barrier. It is listed as nationally vulnerable by the Threat Classification System of the Department of Conservation.  The sightings of these lizards are so important that DOC asks you to report to the local office or call at +64 9 429 0044 whenever you spot one.  4. The North Island Kākā It is a large, intelligent, and noisy native parrot. It is famous for the loud "screech" and "chatter. I saw a few of them high in the forest canopy along the Mt Hobson track.  The Glenfern Sanctuary is another spot where you will find these parrots. The Great Barrier Island is an important habitat for these birds as it offers a predator-free environment.  5. Dolphins And Marine Life Aotea’s location on the edge of the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park, the national park of the sea, makes it rich in marine life. The Hauraki Gulf and the Great Barrier Island were both formed due to massive volcanic activity at the end of the Ice Age.  In 1769, James Cook named the island because of how it protected the Hauraki Gulf.  The water of the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park has 22 species of marine mammals. Bottlenose and common dolphins are often seen from the ferry or playing in bays like Okupu (Blind Bay) and Whangaparapara Harbour. You may even spot Bryde's whales there.  Furthermore, seabirds are important members of the Marine Park. Kaitoke Wetlands The Glefern Sanctuary offers a guided tour to the Kaitoke Hot Springs, located on the Mount Hobson Track. You can access the track from the Whangaparapara Road.  Furthermore, you will find a series of geothermal pools on the Kaitoke Hot Springs track. This area, maintained by the Department of Conservation (DoC), is a treasure hub for native birds.  Here, we had to walk through an easy boardwalk and gravel road to encounter pāteke and spotless crakes. And thanks to the new Kai swing bridge here, the route has now become wheelchair and buggy accessible.  Even when we were swimming in the geothermal pools, we could listen to the calls of the pātekes.  2. Mt Hobson (Hirakimata) Track The Peach Tree Track to Mount Hobson is the best route for spotting native birds and the wildlife of the Great Barrier Island. The route passes through regenerating forests, and these forests are home to a lot of native bird species, such as: Kākā Tūī: Tomtit (Miromiro) North Island Robin (Pītoitoi) Black Petrel (Takoketai) You can spot these birds in the dense native bush. Also, you can see them in large numbers near the high slopes and close to the summit. In addition, the 360-degree view of the island is a bonus you will love to count on.  3. Medlands Beach & Onetangi Medlands Beach and Onetangi are famous for coastal and nearshore wildlife like the paradise shelducks and little blue penguins.  Furthermore, wekas are common in these locations, and these are chosen as the reintroduction programs of the North Island brown kiwi.  4. I remember my first quiet Sunday in Paris—it caught me off guard. The whole city just… slowed down. No horns, no rush, just this calm hum underneath everything. You could actually hear the church bells bouncing off the empty streets.  It will feel a bit strange at first. You will feel like you woke up before the world did. Some of the shops will be shut, some light spilling over the rooftops, and the air will smell like freshly baked bread.  By mid-morning, the city will wake up again, but this time it will be slow. The shops will open, and you will notice people moving around, communicating with others. Things will seem slow and cozy, and you will see how these people enjoy life.  Same with Rue Mouffetard—music from nowhere, old ladies arguing over fruit, a kid tugging at his mom’s sleeve. Even Batignolles, tucked away from the usual crowd, hums with its own little rhythm.  There are various things to do on Sunday in Paris, as the major attractions might be closed. Some of the major markets and shops will not open. So, it is important that you plan something nice and simple and just enjoy life in Paris for a day. Piles of tomatoes, a bunch of scarves, the smell of bread, everything will make you feel alive. 2. Stillness In The Streets Then everything quiets down again. Around late morning, it’s like the city decides to take a nap. Montmartre, Le Marais—they turn soft and slow. Shutters half-closed, sunlight sliding across cobblestones, the occasional bike bell echoing through an alley.  You pass an artist sketching, someone leaning on a balcony, a couple holding hands, as if time had stopped for them. It’s cinematic, honestly. On a Sunday, walking across the Seine feels like walking through someone’s dream. 3. Long Lunches, Parisian-Style Now, if there’s one thing Parisians take seriously, it’s Sunday lunch. You can’t rush it. Even if you tried, they’d probably ignore you until you relaxed.  Tables fill with families, old friends, strangers turned companions. You order steak-frites or roast chicken, maybe onion soup if you’re lucky. Bread everywhere, wine always flowing.  No one looks at their watch. Meals last hours—literally. You talk, eat, sip, pause, talk again. And dessert? You don’t skip it. Tarte Tatin, if you can find it. Or cheese. Always cheese. 4. Enjoy High Tea Enjoying a high tea in Paris is one of the best things to do on a Sunday in Paris. Most of the big hotels also offer afternoon tea even on public holidays. The Ritz Paris offers afternoon tea, which creates a sense of occasion.  Afternoon tea at Le Meurice is something you should experience at least once in your lifetime. However, you will have to book this in advance as this is quite popular. Moreover, you can try afternoon tea at Le Bristol.  This is kind of a hidden gem, and not as popular as its competitors. It is less crowded and you will be able to visit it on public holidays as well. There is no reason to be crowded, but you have to book it in advance.  5. Parks And Picnics In Full Bloom If the weather is sunny and pleasant, you need to get out. There is no point staying indoors. Visit one of the parks like Parc Monceau, Jardin du Luxembourg, and Buttes-Chaumont.  Kids enjoy the park; they chase pigeons. You will notice musicians singing by the fountains, and older couples sitting peacefully, enjoying the surroundings. All you will need is a bottle of wine, a baguette, and some cheese. Just sit around and watch life unfold around you. 6. Go Shopping Among so many things to do on Sunday in Paris, there is no way to miss out on shopping. However, make sure there are no big holidays, or the stores will be closed. The designer shops and the big brands generally keep their store open on Sundays. However, do not estimate the flea shops. The St. Ouen flea market is less crowded, and you will be able to shop easily there, and getting there is also not very difficult. It is a small site, and you will be able to browse through stuff easily, and the variety you get here is unmatched. Where Everyday Life Becomes The Highlight By evening, you realize how little you’ve done. There are so many things to do on Sunday in Paris. And somehow, that’s the magic.  Paris doesn’t need your checklist—it just wants you to slow down long enough to notice it. The soft chatter, the smell of bread, the light hitting the Seine—it all feels like a secret only you found. Walking home that night, I remember thinking: nothing spectacular happened. No grand event, no story to brag about. Yet it felt like one of those rare days you actually lived instead of rushed through. That’s a Parisian Sunday for you. Quiet. Ordinary. And absolutely unforgettable.

In this article, I am writing about how walking on the Golden Hand Bridge in Vietnam feels! It is like walking on sunshine as the environment adds up to the beauty of the bridge! Walking On Sunshine: Exploring The Magic Of Vietnam's Golden Hand Bridge! The amusement park in which the Hand Bridge has been built is a Disney-style theme park known as Ba Na Hills. Hand bridge is another common name for the Golden Bridge! You can see it all over social media as people visit the place and create beautiful pictures. If you want to visit the Golden Bridge Vietnam, you can take a guided tour of the Ba Na Hills from Hoi An or Da Nang! Along with the bridge, other things are included in the guide, such as Fantasy Park, the French Village, and the Cable car ride. The whole trip will take at least 3 hours to cover! If you are taking a car ride from the city, it will take some time. You will have to pay 750000 dong to visit the bridge, which might seem more expensive for some, especially if the weather is overcast! You still have to visit the bridge because it is one of a kind! Costs Of Tickets To Visit Golden Bridge Da Nang! You do not have to pay any money to visit the bridge. However, the Ba Na Hills Resorts owns the Golden Bridge Da Nang Bridge. The bridge is included in the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourism complex, so the rate of visiting the resort is included in the ticket price for the cable car. You have to reach the resort by car while reaching the hilltop of Ba Na Hills by cable car. The ticket price for adults for a round-trip is $38.30! You can visit the bridge in two seasons, extending from April to September and October to December. For children whose height is between 1m and 1.4m, the round-trip tickets cost around $31.01! Children below that height can visit where their parents do not need to buy any tickets. There are also offers with a lunch buffet and combo cable car tickets priced around USD $46.38. About Golden Bridge Da Nang! One of the most photographed spots located within Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge Da Nang is a 500-foot-long bridge with railings shining in golden color. The bridge has been constructed with such a design that it is cradled between two colossal hands. The hands are so big that they seem to be up in the clouds. Further, during rainy days, the clouds are covering the hands. The bridge is 12.8m wide with eight arches. The concept of the bridge was about walking across the hands of the God of mountains on the clouds. The Hand Bridge in Vietnam acts as a connector between the cable car station, which is located at the hilltop, and the Paradise Gardens. Further, the bridge gives you a perfect view of the Annamitr Mountains and the East Sea. I suggest you arrive early in the morning if you want an excellent picture of the attraction or get a photo of yourself on the bridge. When visiting the bridge, you can also cover fantasy parks, the French village, and a cable car ride, making it a complete circle! How To Reach The Golden Bridge In Vietnam? To reach the Golden Hands Bridge Vietnam from Da Nang City, you must go to Sun World Ba Na Hills first. You can go from Thien Thai Flower Garden or Marseille station to the Golden Hand Bridge. There are different transportation routes which you can take! Car Rental In Da Nang You can rent a car in Da Nang to travel to the bridge, especially with people ranging from 4 to 45 people. The rental vehicle is both cost-saving and flexible. The round trip ranges from somewhere $17.02 to $93.62. Taxi If you are looking for something reasonable, book a taxi if you are in a group of 4 to 7 people. The price of a round-trip taxi visit starts from $21.28 to $25.53. Bus To Ba Na If your budget is cheap, take a bus from Da Nang, which will take you to Ba Na in just 75 minutes. The bus is specifically for tourists, and the round-trip costs $6.38 per head. However, the timing could be more relaxed as tourists are picked up between 7:30 and 8:30 from Da Nang. While returning, tourists are picked up from Ba Na between 14:30 and 15:30 to return once the Bridge tour is done. For tourists, it can be restrictive at times! Transfer Car From Danang To Ba Na The transfer car starts from 72 Nguyen Chi Thanh and takes tourists to Ba Na Hills, with the round-trip ticket costing around $2.98 per head. This transportation is convenient for visitors planning to visit Ba Na in the morning, but there will be issues for evening visitors! Again, with the pocket-friendly rate, the car is restricted concerning the timing of the transfer car, which only functions between 8:30 in the morning and 18:00! Motorbike Rental If you are young and know how to ride a motorbike or your partner knows, go for the motorbike rental! It is one of the best choices for tourists because it creates opportunities for you to enjoy nature and its beauty. This transportation choice lets you stay the most active concerning your travel plans. The motorbike rental price ranges from $4.26 to $6.38 per head.
