Perched at an elevation of 7,000 feet amidst the undulating peaks of the Wasatch Range, it offers unparalleled opportunities for springtime hiking, summertime mountain biking, and autumn foliage viewing in the American West. Yes, this place's shoulder season is arguably its best-kept secret. Whatever time of day you arrive, though, you'll find a friendly and hospitable community that's far more diverse than its 10,000 or so residents would indicate.
