It has been two years since the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) launched the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp. It is an initiative to identify and recognize the hotels that adhere to all 19 sustainability requirements of DET.  This shows how sincere the government is about sustainable tourism in Dubai.  Also, Dubai has just won the laurel of the World’s Leading Sustainable City at the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards.  Clean Energy Green Infrastructure Energy-efficient Buildings These have been the primary factors in establishing Dubai as a leader in sustainable tourism.  However, we usually associate Dubai with its dazzling skyscrapers, vibrant nightlife, and luxury shopping scene. It is one of the largest single-site solar parks in the world.  Once again, the Al Sa’fat certification ensures that at least half of the new buildings in Dubai align with the green building guidelines.  Overall, there is a growing focus on developing eco-conscious tourism in the city. Thus, the tourism numbers and revenue will only grow from this point.  The Dubai Can And Dubai Reef Program  On 15th February 2022, the Dubai Can initiative was launched. The crown prince of Dubai, Fazza, or Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, started this program to curb the use of single-use plastic bottles.  Thus, he wanted the tourists and citizens to actively participate in making the city a sustainable tourism destination. So far, it has been an effective move for the protection of marine life and the wildlife of Dubai.  Moreover, the partners and sponsors of this program have placed over 50 water stations across the city, including tourist spots and parks. On the other hand, Dubai Reef is the “world’s largest marine reef development project.” As the name suggests, it works on maintaining the right fish population and making the ecosystem stronger.

Further, it is a place to try different outdoor pursuits. Visit Lake Powell for boating, hiking, camping, fishing, and swimming.  7. Explore The Monument Valley  In Navajo, the “valley of the rocks” or the Monument Valley flaunts mesmerizing geological features. It has sandstone buttes and the towers over the sandy terrain stand as eternal witnesses of time.  If the American West had a quintessential pictorial depiction, it surely would have been the Monument Valley. Many films and TV commercials are filmed here. The classic My Darling Clementine by John Ford has been the most celebrated one among them. 8. Since Booking Holdings is the largest online travel company in the world, Agoda is unquestionably legitimate. Likewise, since the hotel is not directly in charge of your reservation, do not anticipate receiving a refund or any other kind of resolution from them. You should always book directly if there is little to no price difference between booking through Agoda and directly. Agoda may be providing you with a far better deal than making a direct reservation with a hotel or airline. It all depends on your level and willingness to accept specific risks. Some of them are: Book Directly Or Through Agoda? You will have to consider the price difference between the two options. If Agoda does offer a cheaper rate, there are certain risks to consider, like: Difficulties and delays in resolving the issues and making changes, cancellations, and getting refunds, particularly in the case of flights. No reservation with the hotel. Accepting the hotel as it is. No refunds (in most cases) for non-refundable reservations, regardless of any circumstances that may arise. I personally strongly advise against using Agoda to book flights. The reason is that using Agoda to book flights makes it very difficult to make any changes. If you're willing to accept the aforementioned risks and drawbacks and the price difference is substantial, I would only suggest using Agoda to book hotels. Wrapping Up While using Agoda to make a reservation complicates, the website is a reputable source for travel arrangements. Agoda is a reliable source for bookings and typically offers lower prices than direct bookings. Does this imply that Agoda is the best place to book? Well, as previously stated, it mostly boils down to personal preferences. But to close out this piece, here are some passing recommendations I have: Avoid using Agoda to book anything, especially flights. The exception would be hotels, and that too only if: You can get a far better deal on Agoda than if you book directly with the hotel. You accept the dangers and disadvantages outlined above.
