Do you love street food? How about Filipino street foods and some BBQ? Are you looking up ‘Filipino fast food near me?’ Then you must check out Toto’s Grill – the place is crazy! Tasty BBQ and Filipino street food is all you need.

Nice lunch! It’s been a couple of years since the last time we visited Vegas, and we always make it a point to visit this shopping center. We tried a little bit of everything including the lumpia, the BBQ, and the fried siomai. The lumpia had a good amount of filling in it without being too soggy. The BBQ was some of the best we’ve ever had because it was definitely more meat and less fat. The siomai was tasty! The owner was friendly as well. We’re glad we found this place!

2. Fiesta Filipina Cuisine:

So here you are looking up ‘Filipino food near me.’ Wait, have you considered going to Fiesta Filipina Cuisine? The restaurant has a cosy, traditional setting and is well known for their quick-serve dishes such as Caldereta, Lumpia, and Pancit.

I really enjoyed eating the homestyle food here. It’s cafeteria style service, where you tell them what kind of food/specials you want, and they prepare it for you on plates/bowls. There weren’t any signs as to what each dish was, but you can point to what you want. The food was delicious and very flavorful, but it can be a bit confusing if it’s your first time ordering here.

3. Itoy Sariling Atin:

If you love buffet and Filipino foods then you don’t need to waste time on confusing search queries like ‘best Filipino food near me.’ Instead, why don’t you check out Itoy Sariling Atin? They serve great food – and they have crazy guest reviews! We love good guest reviews!

Best Philippino place in town friendly polite family run place, down home comfort food, and some exotic dishes too. Very large portions at a reasonable price. I eat there at least once a week and have never been treated with anything but respect regardless of my ethnicity. The food is always fresh and delicious pay no attention to trolls.

Review By George Swails:

4. Nanay Gloria’s Filipino Restaurant:

While doing a quick ‘Filipino food near me’ search at Vegas, we randomly stumbled upon this informal establishment serving a crazy all-you-can-eat buffet! And that too a buffet of traditional Filipino menu, cooked at home! Yes, this is why you must head over to Nanay Gloria’s Filipino Restaurant.

Very excellent place for Filipino food while in Vegas. Well organized. And the option to do a buffet as well is just outstanding. Plenty of seating with a mix of tables and booths, available self serve cups with ice cold lemon water for customers is a big plus. TVs for entertainment as you eat. I likes how the food tray selection area has bright light bulbs over each food tray to illuminate each selection better.

Review By Garie Pamintuan:

5. Max’s Restaurant, Cuisine of the Philippines, Las Vegas:

One of our favorite Filipino restaurants in Las Vegas is ‘Max’s Restaurant, Cuisine of the Philippines, Las Vegas!’ They serve fried chicken with an unique banana ketchup and we simply love the dish!

I’m not Filipino but I love this place! A buddy of mine took us here, and he said it was all authentic Filipino food. Everything cooked perfectly, well seasoned, I really liked the beef soup and the garlic rice. I even tried the pork intestines for the first time and it was good! Crispy and chewy with a vinegar sauce. We’ll be back for sure.

Review By Steve Strom:

6. Kapuso Kapamilya:

Are you already sick and tired of typing ‘Filipino restaurants near me’ on Google only to be disappointed? You are in Vegas, after all – you want to eat Filipino foods. That does sound great. But how about a karaoke bar to make things fun? Head over to Kapuso Kapamilya!

I have never had “real” ramen before so this was exciting. I ended up going with my daughter and had a great meal. The server was very helpful in explaining what each item was and what a lot of people like. I ordered based on her recommendation and was happy with the result. We will for sure be going back to try something else new on the menu!

Review By John Cerul:

7. Kusina Ni Lorraine:

Are you a fan of traditional cooking and Filipino food? Do you love buffets? Then stop your ‘Filipino restaurant near me’ search and simpy head over to Kusina Ni Lorraine! A no-frills restaurant known for their crazy buffets, you must check this place out.

Love this place! One of my favorite buffets in Vegas. Dont order to go its all about the sit in all you can eat buffet. If you dont have time to sit in and want to buy your to go orders elsewhere seafood city is down the street. This is for those who want to munch down alot of food and go back for more. If your ordering to go your doin it wrong!

8. Grill City

The restaurant is situated near Maryland Pkwy in Las Vegas and boasts food of diverse types like fast food, barbeque, and Philippines. They have both the option of dining in along with online orders. They also have seatings accessible for wheelchair adjustment.

This is another eatery that has Filipino food near me! On Tripadvisor, the ratings given on the restaurant is 4 out of 5 based on 20 reviews where people are satisfied with the food and the value. The services need to further grow.

Always come here when we visit Vegas. I love Filipino street food and they do it well. Reminds me of the street vendors in Cebu. Place is amazing. I highly recommend the BBQ sticks.. My favorite for sure. Several fish options (wife loves it) as well.

According to the review on Yelp.com, their speciality is the Hawaiian plate lunch which has aloha-infused hot entree, creamy macaroni salad and rice. The rating is 4 out of 5 based on 163 reviews.

Great friendly service. Quick service.
The food is good and the price is right. Good spot to dine in or takeout.
I’ll definitely eat there again!

10. Pepita’s Kitchen

The Pepita’s Kitchen is another amazing joint for Filipino food where you can have authentic experience of hand rolls and sashimi. Filipino food is incomplete without rice in their food.

People enjoy chilled seafood along with crisp nori, Japanese beer and other delicious food items.

Who knew lechon and truffle fried rice would go together?! It was so freakin’ delicious. They give so much rice and meat along with crispy lechon skin!!! It’s great to have this deliciousness whether you’re hungover or sober. We take a cab here each time we’re in town. So worth it!

How To Pack Things For Travel Smartly 2024

BY Ankita TripathyFeb 2, 2024

Traveling is one of the most thrilling and exciting things. Many people wait for a long time to plan and go on a trip. But as much as it is exciting to explore another location, taking your comfort along with it is a real challenge. We all imagine ourselves in the best outfits when on a trip. But when it comes to planning –the job seems daunting to many people. If you are one of them, worry not. In this blog, you will explore smart and effective tips for packing right in 2024. Let’s dig into the blog Packing Tips If You Want To Travel Smartly In 2024 As much as traveling is loved by all, packing is not liked by many. 2024 is the year of smart packing. This doesn’t mean removing your desired items from the suitcase. In fact, it is about packing everything in an organized, functional, and tidy way. In the next section of the article, I have listed down a few tips to smartly pack for a seamless journey: 1. Start With Light Items.  To start packing, the first and foremost thing you need to get is lighter items. You can start packing by folding your shirts, shorts, and undergarments. It is true that traveling is an exciting event, and you want to carry your wardrobe around. But that’s technically not possible, right?  So, carry only a handful of clothes and essentials to keep the bag as light as possible. Once you decide the shirts you want to take, you can pair your pants with them and make an outfit for occasions. This way, you will understand how to organize and save more space in your luggage for other things. 2. Plan Your Outfits  To save space in the bag and prevent carrying an extra burden on the trip, it is advised to plan your outfit. This is one of the time-consuming factors. You might want to shop to achieve your imaginative look. So, start planning early and lay down all your shirts and pants to pair and create an outfit on the trip.  Don’t pack a thing that needs an additional shirt and pair of shoes to achieve a look. Instead, travel smartly! A true stylist knows how to mix and match outfits and create style statements every single day. Be confident with your outfits and pack them in the most functional way. 3. Choose Right Luggage When you are traveling, you are carrying your comfort along with you. If the main support to the comfort is weak, it can create a mess with your belongings.  That is why traveling experts recommend packing things in the right size and quality luggage. So, choosing the right luggage is our very next tip.  If you don’t have a luggage bag or backpack that can carry airline personal item, you can check online and explore the store to get a quality and affordable price. This way, you will have peace of mind that your bags are in good condition to support the weight of things. 4. Wear Heavy Items  There are many travel experts who are following this hack. When you carry heavy things in the luggage, it will simply add more weight. But what if you carry them on yourself? You can wear your bulky jacket or boots that you want to wear on the trip. This way, you will not have to leave our most liked and precious outfits at home. Additionally, you are saving all that shipping money that you might have to pay for extra luggage. Exclude all the other heavy items that are not much of a necessity. But hey, don’t forget to pack your camera! 5. Don’t Forget Medical Kit  Next, don’t forget to carry a medical kit on the trip for your safety and health. When there is a change in the climate, food, and water, you cannot predict your health for it. So, consider creating a small pouch and include Band-Aids, painkillers, stomach relief, and other medicines that you take on a regular basis to travel with. This way, you will not have to run to the healthcare center in case of any health emergency. 6. Carry A Route Map Wherever You Go Visit a city 10 times, and you are still likely to forget its shortcut routes. This is why carrying a map is important, no matter where you go. This is a must-have in your bag because it removes all the unnecessary stress of traveling alone. Although technology is doing much of the job itself.  Nowadays, carrying your mobile devices certainly helps a lot. From discovering the best brewery around you to looking for a healthcare facility, there’s nothing that you cannot do with the help of your phone, tablet, or laptop. In whichever form, make sure to have proper access to navigation.  7. Don’t Forget To Capture Your Memories Last but not least, don’t forget to capture your special memories. Pack your handy cams, DSLRs, and other essential things. A true fact is you never know when you will be able to visit this mesmerizing destination again. Traveling, in itself, is a unique experience, and don’t forget to cherish it. Live every moment and enjoy them to the fullest. This counts as the true essence of a trip. Check out some amazing hand gadgets and cameras on the Internet that do not weigh too much. Make sure not to overload your luggage, even though all you want is to take some astounding pictures.  Parting Thoughts These were some of the smart packing tips that end up helping you travel smartly. A seamless journey experience is priceless, so make the most of it with these tips. Your traveling days are near!  Save this article and implement the aforementioned practices on your next trip in 2024. Also, comment below on your packing strategies. Thank you for reading! Exeter’s Hidden Treasures: My Offbeat And Unique Experiences In Exeter!

BY Sarmind SafiDec 1, 2023

Exeter is Devon's capital and a small, historic university town. It is one of the oldest settlements in all of England because of its rich history. Therefore this also means that there are lots of enjoyable and thrilling activities available for all age groups and price ranges. This is your comprehensive guide to Exeter's top attractions. If you want to know about the things to do in Exeter, we have a guide. Exeter is an ideal weekend getaway because it offers a wealth of history to discover, a fantastic food scene that is inspired by the local produce made in the South West, and a convenient gateway to the rest of Devon. There's always something going on in Exeter throughout the year, whether you want to stay for a week or just a weekend. Thing To Do In Exeter Image Source Exeter is a great city to explore because there are a ton of interesting hidden spots to discover. These are a few of our favorites that will entice you to travel to Exeter by coach and find some hidden treasures of your own. The most well-known features of Exeter, the county seat of Devon, are its stunning canal that leads to the sea and its Gothic-styled Norman Cathedral. Exeter is renowned for its extensive history, which predates the Romans. The city is still filled with historical artifacts from the past, such as numerous Roman and medieval structures. Food And Cuisine Image Source Naturally, the first thing that everyone needs to know is where to get the best food and drink. Thus, why not address both at one location? The Fat Pig is a classic, welcoming pub with a rotating menu of seasonal specialties and gastropub favorites. And if that wasn't enough, you can pair your meal with an enormous selection of beers, spirits, and anything else that piques your interest! Foodies will love it together. On the other hand, Rendezvous Wine Bar provides a delectable assortment of wines from around the world, all unified by a rustic yet elegant look and feel, if you're searching for a quiet place to end your evening. A perfect place to spend time with loved ones, friends, or for a late-night drink. You'll need to rest your legs after all that walking, and where better to do so than at one of Exeter's best-kept secrets? Bright and airy, Caffe Espresso offers a wide selection of mouthwatering pastries, mouthwatering lunch options, and of course, excellent coffee. But what makes it unique is a specific table upstairs by the window with a view of Exeter Castle. It's a great place to talk over a plate of something delicious and a steaming mug. Witness The Inspiration Behind Harry Potter Image Source Since J.K. Rowling attended Exeter University as an undergraduate, her novels have been influenced by the city, which is evident in many parts of the city. This is quite possibly the best thing to do in Exeter for a Harry Potter fan. For instance, Gandy Street is definitely worth exploring because it's home to many interesting and quirky stores and is rumored to have served as the model for Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter novels. Somewhere in the city, a door on Cathedral Green is believed to have served as the model for the Room of Requirement Door, and the Firehouse across town might have served as the model for the fictional "Leakey Cauldron." In any case, you can count on the greatest (and biggest) pizzas in Devon when you visit the Firehouse! Shopping Image Source Ultimately, you must do a little souvenir shopping before leaving Exeter, right? The city is full of fantastic independent stores that offer a wide variety of one-of-a-kind goods for you to purchase. Shopping is undoubtedly the best thing to do in Exeter. Pretty gift and home decor shop Georgie & Flo has a great selection of jewelry, candles, ceramics, and other items. Till your next visit, Roly's Fudge, a wonderful family-run fudge company, and Exeter Gin, the city's premium gin manufacturer, should satisfy your taste buds. Go For A Walk Image Source Spend a tranquil afternoon strolling along the River Exe and discovering your own little treasures. Belle Isle Park and other more serene spots are located downstream from the bustling Exeter Quay area, which serves as a starting point. Not in the mood to go it alone? Exeter actually offers 16 free walking tours, which few people are aware of. Red Coat Guided Tours are an excellent way to discover the culture of the city, including stops at odd locations, historical sites, maritime areas, and more. Visit The Exeter Quay Image Source Known as "Exeter quayside," Exeter Quay was originally utilized as a port in prehistoric times. Located next to the River Exe, the waterway that gives Exeter its name, rail had largely replaced commercial shipping here by the 19th century. One of the last of its kind to remain in service in the UK to this day is the hand-operated "Butts Ferry." The historic quayside is now only ten minutes' walk downhill from the city center. If you are into ferrying, add this to your list of things to do in Exeter. Once you arrive, you'll think you've completely left the city behind and are in a serene haven full of quirky cafés and antique stores. When night falls, the area is bustling with nightclubs and bars, making it the ideal spot to have dinner by the water with friends. There are also canoe and dragon boat races held here on occasion throughout the year. Strolling alongside the lovely river, which eventually meanders out to sea, is one of the most tranquil activities Exeter has to offer. Wrapping Up Naturally, the first thing that everyone needs to know is where to get the best food and drink. Thus, why not address both at one location? The Fat Pig is a classic, cozy pub with a rotating menu of seasonal specialties and gastro-pub favorites. And if that wasn't enough, you can pair your meal with an enormous selection of beers, spirits, and anything else that piques your interest in flavor! If you have thoughts to share or question to ask about things to do in Exeter, please leave a comment below.
