National Space Centre: An Out Of This World Attraction Unlike long-dead kings, the National Space Centre, located in the northern part of the city by the River Soar, offers something entirely different. Explore the universe's origins, take a trip across Venus, live in an International Space Station module, or just gaze up at the 42-meter-tall Rocket Tower, home to the Thor Able rocket, all at the UK's premier space museum. Young or old aspiring astronauts will love this place because it caters to their needs with lots of interactive exhibits and even allows them to try on space suits. 4. New Walk Museum And Art Gallery: See Some Fantastic Fossils Situated slightly to the south of the city center, the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery has been home to an impressive array of artistic and scientific displays since its founding in 1849. Summer trips always look amazing online! The sunshine, beaches, and iced lattes in some cute café. But the part people don’t talk about? Heat and humidity hit way harder than most of us expect.  They drain energy, shift moods, and sometimes completely disrupt plans. I’ve had days where I thought, “oh, it’s just jet lag,” but nope… it was the sticky weather knocking me down.  With a little prep, though, what feels like a nightmare can be manageable, even fun. We usually think, “I’ll drink when I’m thirsty.” Nope—that’s already too late in hot, humid weather. On the other hand, you have to avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine. These two can often lead to major dehydration issues.  Thirdly, you have to dress properly. Always try to wear lightweight, loose-fitted, and breathable clothing. Wear sunscreen and a hat.  After that, you have to be heat-conscious. If you are traveling to a significantly hotter climate, acclimate yourself by limiting strenuous activity during the hottest parts of the day. Lastly, you must check your vehicle. This is not tough. You just have to perform preventative maintenance on your car's cooling system, tires, and AC to prevent breakdowns. Hyperhidrosis And Travel Discomfort Here’s something that doesn’t get talked about much—hyperhidrosis. Essentially, it means your body sweats excessively. In humid places? Brutal. A museum tour or even standing in line feels like torture. I came across the Center for Hyperhidrosis, and they’ve got solid tips. Simple stuff like packing breathable fabrics, always having water on hand, or even knowing where to duck into AC can totally change the game. It’s surreal when you see snow-covered sand dunes appearing before your eyes against the backdrop of the sea. Also, the blocks of ice or jewelry ice in the Tokachi River mouth attract a lot of visitors in the winter.  And that’s not all! The distance between Tokyo and San’in Kaigan Geopark, the home of Hokkaido Beach, is around 657 km.  The best way to reach San’in Kaigan Geopark from Tokyo is by taking a bullet train.  Take a bullet train from the Tokaido Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka Station. It will take around 2 hours and 30 minutes.  Then, travel on the Super Hakuto limited express train for 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach Tottori Station. Finally, you can take a bus from the Tottori Station to Hokkaido Beach. However, if you want to really enjoy the scene of ice, sand, and sea meeting, you have to take a cruise ride from Monbetsu, Rausu, and Abashiri.  Everything will appear before your eyes as an impossible dream as you see the Hokkaido Beach from the shore or an icebreaker.  Do you want some more adventure while exploring the beautiful Hokkaido Beach? You can go for a guided ice walk from Shiretoko.  And as you walk toward the beach, you will meet the most fascinating wildlife of the area.
