They’re a very comfortable means of transportation, with the high cost being the only significant downside. Taking the comfort of a taxi but for a lower price is a service called ride-sharing and ride-pooling. The service works by arranging pickups from a more centralized location and allows the driver to pick up multiple passengers along the way.
