India has a lot to offer if you are planning for your honeymoon trip.  Further, with a significant advancement in the ranking in the Travel and Tourism Development Index list, there is no pain in guessing that the honeymoon tourism scenario here is also changing for good.

Further, the 12th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) was concluded in September 2024. The foreign tour agents attending this event were impressed with the scope of sound honeymoon tourism in Kerala.

Among them, Veronica Rioseco, a tour agent from Chile, visited Kerala for the first time to attend the event and promote the best honeymoon destinations of the state. This was indeed unique, considering people from South America usually visit Rajasthan, Delhi, and Agra.

So, thanks to the existing locations and the latest hotspots, planning your honeymoon trip has become easier. However, you still need to consider certain tips to keep everything fun and hassle-free on your honeymoon trip.

Planning Your Honeymoon Trip: Follow The Best Tour And Travel Tips

Planning Your Honeymoon Trip Follow The Best Tour And Travel Tips

Planning the itinerary right and budgeting are important aspects while planning your honeymoon trip. Further, you must choose a destination that aligns with your common interests.

For example, if you love the tranquility of the backwater, visit Kerala. However, if you want to explore the history of Rajputs in the country and visit the best forts, Rajasthan will be your go-to destination.

Do you want to know more about planning your honeymoon trip? Follow these cool Tour and Travel tips.

1. Plan In Advance While Planning Your Honeymoon Trip

Prepare the tour package in advance; we recommend you start as soon as you decide the date of the wedding. It will help you to avoid the last-minute disappointments that come by failing to plan well.

The anticipation will allow you to get better prices in the market. It will also allow you to process the documents or requirements are necessary to travel to certain destinations.

It can be so challenging to plan for your honeymoon trip when you are already late. You may discover that the date is due and you don’t have all the required documentation. No one wants to change his destination because of poor planning.

Remember, the honeymoon comes only once in a lifetime. Therefore, you need to plan in advance so as to get the best experience from the trip.

2. Establish A Budget:

Traveling is not all time inexpensive because you will need flights, hotels, trips, meals, etc. It all adds up; it is better than you decide how much money you are going to spend on the honeymoon trip. How will you feel when you go on a honeymoon and discover that you have run short of funds?

You don’t want to become a bother to your friends by borrowing money because you are stuck on your honeymoon destination. Besides, there is life after the honeymoon trip, and you don’t need to spend beyond your means. You will not fail to get a perfect place irrespective of your budget.

Therefore, you can reduce the options that you have to fit into your budget. Still, the budget is a guide but not a closed number that you cannot mold based on your preferences. Prepare and budget and choose something that will work best for your brand.

3. Plan The Days:

What are your available days? Are you leaving the day after the wedding? A week or a year later? Depending on the date of your trip, prices may vary. How long are honeymoons typically? This is the most important factor to understand.

The honeymoon trip planning days are entirely dependent on the couples. If the couple is planning too much traveling, then creating your special moments is becoming challenging; indeed, the one-to-one talk will be missing, which is the honeymoon’s best feature.

Therefore, you need to be clear on the day that you will be leaving for your honeymoon. It will help you to reserve the flight ticket and book a room in your preferred hotel. If you want to tour the region, the travel agent will help you prepare the best program.

Therefore, you need to know the exact days you will be leaving for a particular place. It will help you to prepare a plan that will work for your best.

4. Choose A Destination:

Can you plan for a honeymoon trip without knowing where you will be going? The answer is an outright no! Ask yourself what your ideal destination will be according to your idea of a honeymoon. It can be relaxation, adventure, gastronomy, etc.

Opt for a honeymoon trip that covers both personalities. Remember, all of you need to enjoy the adventure. People have different personalities, but you have to get something that will work for the good of the two of you. It calls for a matter of giving and taking among the couples.

Oh! And be sure to check the weather and the stations of your destination. You will not want to end up in a place in the middle of a hurricane season. It will beat the whole logic of going on a honeymoon. You need a place that will give you the best that the outdoors have to offer.

5. Type Of Accommodation:

Once you know where you want to go, you will have to find a place to stay. What would you like? A resort on a paradisiacal beach with everything included, or a charming hotel in an old European city. How to book a honeymoon trip? This is the most important question which is frequently asked by newlywed couples.

Different areas have different types of accommodation to offer. It all depends on the type of experience you want to get and your budget. Choose a place that will help you access the features that you want to visit with a lot of ease.

Besides, the accommodation should be calm, especially during the night. You don’t want a noisy place when you want to sleep quietly and have a good time with your partner. Make sure that the accommodation that you choose will give you the comfort that you deserve.

6. Everything Planned:

How to plan a honeymoon trip? You often keep asking yourself the proper planning that helps make your honeymoon the most successful event.

The time has come to contact your travel agency. You can select a combined trip that already exists or creates your own, taking into account your tastes. After planning for a wedding, you may be tired and want to relax more.

The choices that you make all depend on your individual preferences. You can always count on the advice of a professional.  Ask if it is possible to enjoy honey with discounts or special treatment. You will always find a few deals here and there, depending on where you are visiting.

7. Vaccines And Other Health Advice:

Depending on the destination that you choose, you will have to put in some compulsory and other recommended vaccines (cholera, hepatitis, typhoid fever, etc.). It is important to keep this in mind as some doses must be given months in advance.

Therefore, do your homework well and understand the vaccines and other medical considerations that you need to implement. You don’t want to be blocked at the airport because you did not comply with certain health requirements,

Consult the weather conditions of the destination of your honeymoon trip at the time of your trip. To be able to choose the most appropriate clothing and footwear is critical. You also need to be able to take any medication you may require (especially in case of allergies).

During the trip, and depending on the destination, you have to be careful with the food and the tap water. Diarrhea is the most frequent disease of international travel. It is, therefore, advisable to always drink bottled water and avoid street food stalls.

Top 10 Solo Trip Ideas For Women In This International Women’s Day

BY  Barsha Mar 4, 2023

Whether you want to dip your toes in the crystal clear waters of Palolem Beach or spend an evening in the Waichin Valley, there’s so much to see, to explore, and to experience - and when you do it alone, you get the opportunity to do it at your own time, own pace. Solo trips are perhaps becoming more popular for this very reason. Meeting new people, witnessing miracles, and making memories - come on, if you have ever dreamt about pulling an Eat Prey Love, then this is the sign you needed. Because you are not alone (ironically) - there are so many of us dying to disappear into mysterious cafes with beautiful sunsets. So why the wait? Let’s take one risk on this International Women’s Day and disappear on a much-needed solo trip. Top 10 Solo Trip Ideas For Women In This International Women's Day: The world is a BIG place, and maybe traveling to all corners will remain a utopic dream, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick a country like our incredible India and see all corners. Because you totally can - there are so many solo trip packages for women that are safe and affordable. But first, we will talk about our destinations. So without wasting any time, scroll down to find out the best solo trip destinations in India for women! 1. Palolem Beach (Goa): And I have switched to my favorite - yep, first-person pronouns only! So, recently I traveled to Palolem Beach, located in South Goa. I am not exaggerating, but I felt so free - the waters were calm, the sunsets were stunning, the people were friendly, and the beach was safe. It was a beautiful trip, and I got to see a completely different side of Goa. 2. Waichin Valley (Himachal Pradesh): While Malana is a popular feature in lists of solo trip places, Waichin is Malena's shy sister, always chilling in the other room. There’s only one way to go to Waichin - you gotta walk from Malana village for about an hour or a little more, depending on your pace. The trail is a little pebbly, but Waichin Valley’s beauty is worth the trip. 3. Pulga (Himachal Pradesh): While I was doing my solo trip planning, Himachal Pradesh was one state that I just couldn’t ignore. And not because I was a fan of Kasol - I was done with Kasol. While hiking to Waichin was a beautiful experience, I did not come back home directly from Waichin - I stopped at Pulga and experienced my first-ever snowfall! 4. Pobitora (Assam): Assam is another beautiful state, but most solo travel packages never include Assam - Guwahati has become a pit stop for driving to Shillong. But last year, I was like, ‘no. I shall see what Assam has to offer.’ And Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary was my home for a week. Located on Brahmaputra’s southern bank, this grassland is home to Indian rhinoceros and other wildlife. 5. Kurseong (West Bengal): If you have never heard about Kurseong, note this name down on your solo trip planner right now. While people love popular hill stations like Darjeeling and Kalimpong, ditch those crowded places, and head over to the beautiful town of Kurseong for a peaceful weekend in nature’s lap. And the food is just so delicious. 6. Jaisalmer (Rajasthan): Jaisalmer is perhaps one of the best places for solo trip - and it’s heartbreakingly beautiful. This destination has so much to offer - intricately detailed monuments, mouthwatering food, colorful villagers, and different shades of the dessert. I am a sucker for all of the above-mentioned beauties - so why the wait? 7. Lamuney (Sikkim): If a trip to Solang Valley won’t make you feel what a trek to Sar Pass can make you feel, then there’s another trek that might interest you - it’s not very popular, but it can be difficult if you are not ready to commit. I did the Goechala trek almost two years ago - it was demanding, it was stunning, and it pushed me to my limits. Till date, it’s my favorite trip! 8. Jaubari (Nepal): You can walk to Nepal - yep! There’s a small village, only six hours from Siliguri - the place is called Dhotrey. If you are up for a two-day hike from Dhotrey, then you can reach Jaubari on the second day. It’s the smallest village I have ever been to - if you have done the Sandkphu trek, then you must have come across this village. It’s pretty, safe, and absolutely my favorite. 9. Auroville (Tamil Nadu): Did you know that Auroville is an experimental township located in the Viluppuram district of Tamilnadu? Only a year ago, I packed my bags and traveled to this beautiful destination. I loved the people here, everything was so colorful and aesthetic. I think if you are just starting on your solo traveling, then start with Auroville. 10. Andaman (Andaman): What can I even say about Andamans? Everything about these islands is simply stunning - from the golden sunsets to the crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean, I was mesmerized by these islands. If you are ever in doubt about which destination to pick, then save the best for the last - you won’t regret it! And It’s A Wrap! And that’s a wrap on the best solo trip destinations of all time - this International Women’s Day, just apply for that casual leave, pack your bags, and head over to any of these places. Of course, it all depends upon what attracts you the most. If is it the big blue sea? Or the snowy mountains of the north? And it doesn’t have to be like that - you can love the sea and the mountains together. Or, you can ditch them both and give time to wildlife. So tell us, what are your thoughts on these solo trip destinations for women? And while sharing your thoughts, don’t forget to let us know about your stories, your experiences, and your memories in the comments below. Read Also: Which Is The Largest Freshwater Lake In India? 5 Things To Do On Vacation In Belize

BY  Abdul Aziz Mar 25, 2021

Belize. Just thinking about its exotic shores, golden beaches, tropical heat, and friendly people is enough to make you want to immediately drop everything and jump on a plane. But what will you do when you get there? Excellent question. It’s best if you’re an active, outdoor person because there’s much to do that involves jumping around, swinging on ropes, rafting down rivers, and more. However, there are also beaches to sunbathe on if that’s preferred instead. Here is our pick of the 5 things to do on a vacation in Belize. 1. Stay In An Eco Resort: You don’t want to stay just anywhere. Setting up camp at an eco-resort will get you into the heart of the island to spots that you probably wouldn’t have found on your own. Belize Eco Resorts are perfectly positioned to provide access to many attractions. Situated along the Moho River, the cooling breeze is most welcome. With lodges rising from the ground, you’re afforded an excellent vantage point of the surrounding tropical landscape too. 2. Tubing On The River: Tubing is a popular pastime for people who aren’t wanting to go canoeing or just wish to try something a little different. Mostly preferred by the younger set, a day-out tubing usually includes a walk through the Belizean rainforest, a safety briefing, and maybe exploring a cave system nearby too. 3. Waterfall Adventure: There are several good places to trek out to and see impressive waterfalls, but perhaps the best one is to Davis Falls. To get there, it’s necessary to traverse across multiple river crossings on the way to your destination. However, at roughly 120 meters (500 feet) tall, it stands apart from other waterfalls. It’s possible to get up on a rocky outcropping, take in the splendor, and snap a few pics for Instagram while you’re at it. And this will make the trek to get out there totally worth it. 4. Snorkeling And Diving: If you like getting underwater, it’s best to head over to Ambergris Caye on the northern side of Belize where the diving and snorkeling set hang out. They’re attracted by the beaches, clear waters, and perfect conditions to explore the barrier reefs. There are plenty of dive shops nearby and scuba diving schools to take a course while you’re on the island. Mostly they’re located in San Pedro, so it’s best to head there if that’s what you need. 5. The Beach: The beach at the Placencia Peninsula offers a comfortable lounging spot and a jumping-off point to walk amongst the palm trees to get that tropical feeling. The Caribbean water is quiet here with few waves to disturb the tranquility. This area is the best for sandy beaches on the island. The peninsula goes on for over 15 miles, so you needn’t worry about overcrowding either. Further back inland is sanctuaries and a few nature reserves to visit. There’s a bountiful number of things to do once in Belize. It’s a lively spot for outdoor travel, plus the nightlife is rich and varied too. You’ll surely get the tropical vibe there, so dress the part.
