I still remember the fresh breath of air as I opened the gates of the Villa Spectra. I had the most theatrical experience in Amafi amidst the whiff of lemon and white stones. My mornings here started with the sound of espresso spoons in the coffee cups and morning bells. Evenings were lazy, sipping on the sharpest Amalfi sherbet and watching the ferries passing. However, for me, the most exciting part was taking an after-hours walk with the villa concierge, taking us through Pompeii. The fresco colors were magical. 4.
