The highest point in the trail is the Tanque Verde Peak, which is 7049 feet high.  However, as you advance through the route, you will get to see the most exciting views. Further, when you reach the top of the ridge, you will find many other ranges in the north, south, and west. The Tucson Basin also becomes visible from the ridge top.
