Globetrotter’s Guide: The Ultimate International Travel Essentials Checklist

When it comes to making travel plans and getting ready for a trip, we don’t usually have many complaints. Yes, there are unpleasant, dull, and stressful portions. However, all of the drawbacks of travelling make way for some of the amazing and unforgettable experiences of life. Packing may be the least enjoyable part of getting ready for a trip, but with the appropriate attitude and plan, it can make the entire experience worthwhile.

It’s important to plan your international travel essentials carefully. Although it’s possible to discover forgotten items in many places, having everything organized and safely packed in your suitcase will make your trip much easier. Nobody wants to drive for half a day looking for something they left behind.

International Travel Essentials

Whether it’s your first time travelling abroad or you’ve done it before, this guide will help you make sure you’ve packed everything you could possibly need. Having these things ready, along with the right clothes and shoes for where you’re going, will help ensure that your trip goes as smoothly as possible.

Neck Pillow

Consider the Trtl Pillow as the traveller’s neck pillow for those who detest neck pillow carrying. When not in use, the small neck support folds down to the size of a tablet, which you can discreetly and conveniently tuck away in your handbag or carry-on while you’re on the go.

The innovative design is light years ahead of the conventional neck pillow and resembles an infinite scarf. It offers sufficient support to allow you to rest your head fully on the side without having to worry about waking up with a kinked neck. It’s much less embarrassing than falling asleep on your neighbour’s shoulder, but it’s essentially the inanimate equivalent.

Tech Backup

We know! Although you’re not going on an international trip to become engrossed in your technology. There are some necessities that can enhance a positive trip experience. Whether they support a schedule, guarantee your safety, or just keep you entertained while travelling.

You can always rely on your smartphone in case of emergencies by bringing essentials like a portable power bank and a dependable Wi-fi hotspot. You can also use Google Maps to guide you through your self-guided walking tour without stopping at cafes every few blocks.

Do you recall a time before Google Maps? It’s difficult to envision a time when we would genuinely need to ask locals for directions or have faith that we are correctly interpreting a paper map. By guaranteeing you’re always connected to a dependable Wi-Fi network, the Solis Lite 4G LTE WiFi Mobile Hotspot makes travelling in the modern world even easier. No matter where you go.

It works flawlessly in more than 135 countries worldwide and doesn’t require a SIM card or a contract. Additionally, it supports up to ten devices concurrently, so your travelling companions will be grateful as well. When choosing international travel essentials, your tech paraphernalia will take up a lot of space.

Cincha Travel Belt

One of those travel essentials that, until you need it while on the go, you never really appreciate how much you need is the Cincha Travel Belt. The purpose of the travel belt is to secure your belongings, such as shopping bags, a handbag, or a coat, to the handle of your rolling luggage.

Then you won’t have to worry about them falling off or slipping around. When you don’t want to worry about carrying several loose parts, this is a very convenient option to have on hand when switching terminals or taking trains to the city centre.

Adapter

Bringing along a quality adapter when travelling overseas is a must. After a long day of travelling, the one item you’ll want to have on hand—if at all possible—is an adapter that will efficiently and rapidly charge your phone so you can get out and explore as soon as possible. Seek an adapter similar to the Epicka Universal Travel Adapter.

It has several outlets that can be used in over 150 countries, but if you’re planning on travelling, say, between the United Kingdom and Europe, you won’t have to worry about managing multiple attachments thanks to its handy sliding design. Additionally, it has four USB-A ports, which are the rectangular ones that many older devices use.

Luggage

This is probably the most obvious one of the international travel essentials on our list.

Be very careful when choosing the dimensions of your carry-on if you are travelling and do not want to take the chance of having to check a bag during your entire trip. Choose a suitcase that is no taller than 21.5 inches to be on the safe side. Not all items of luggage that are marked as “carry-on” will be allowed once you leave the country.

Although the Samsonite Freeform Hardside Expandable with Spinner Wheels is only 21.25 inches tall, it satisfies international standards. However, the spinner has a strong, thin shell that gives you more interior space for clothes and accessories.

EZ Packing

If you have a lot of airport security checks ahead of you, the EZ Packing ( 3-1-1) travel as well as toiletry bag is going to be your saving grace. It is clear and TSA approved. The see-through design of the TSA-approved bag allows airport security to clearly see through the luggage.

You can easily show that you have already taken out the liquids, gels, and aerosols from your bag. And that you are prepared to pass through security like the seasoned traveller you are. The bag holds the exact amount of liquid you are allowed to bring on board (not exceeding 100 ml per bottle).

Other International Travel Essentials

Long flights or journeys are just one aspect of travelling abroad. You also have to wait in airports, train stations, and other locations before you reach your destination.

Bring along some essential travel items to pass the time. Consider packing any or all of the following items for you and your family in your carry-on luggage:

  • Headphones
  • Earplugs
  • Sweater or light jacket
  • Warm socks
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Snacks
  • Medications
  • Sanitizing wipes
  • Masks and hand sanitizer
  • Books
  • Magazines

Wrapping Up

It can be very difficult to know what to pack for an international trip. A travel packing list template can make the process of getting ready for your trip less stressful. Whether you’re going on an international family vacation or travelling for work.

Features Of Their Aircraft Image Source The Boeing 787 is considered one of the most modern and efficient aircraft ever. Their brand is inspired by Oseberg Longship, which is in Oslo. It is a symbol of the long-lasting ingenuity of the Viking explorers. The Norse Airlines’ Dreamliners feature a wide range of innovative technologies that are known to make the travel experience for a passenger much more comfortable. The norse atlantic airways reviews also state that they are known to provide class service. They also take an active green initiative as well. Norse Atlantic Airlines Boeing 787 has the following features: They feature modern LED lighting, giving the cabin a feeling of natural daylight. The Dremliners have big windows, so you can have a great view of the outside while flying through the clouds. The windows also have individual dimmers to suit each person's specific needs. The airliner has a very comfortable altitude of the cabin. They emit twenty-five percent lower emissions and are also fifty percent quieter compared to their previous generation of aircraft - which are still in operation with many of the world's major airlines. They are aiming to be a world leader when it comes to the emission of carbon per passenger for every kilometer traveled. Norse Atlantic Airways planned to fill their Boeing 787s with much more seats as compared to the other Dreamliner operators. They calculated that they would benefit more, statistically, from lower emissions per passenger - kilometer and also when it comes to per passenger. Keep reading just a bit more to find out about Norse airline reviews! With that being said, it is also clear that North Atlantic will only be able to benefit from this plan if they are able to fill their aircraft (all seats). Whether or not their plan succeeds still remains to be seen. Reviews Here are a few Norse Airlines reviews that were left by people who used their services: The staff on this aircraft were polite, kind, and very attentive to people around me, and myself who was not feeling very well. They helped me move to a more spacious seating area as soon as boarding was complete. They were understanding and very quick with service. I will definitely be flying with Norse again. Thank you – Michelle Gabassi We traveled from Ft Lauderdale Florida to Oslo December 21-22, Absolutely loved the airline, great flight all the employees were super. My luggage was lost but was delivered to me in Sweden Christmas Eve which was 3 hours away from Oslo Airport. Can't say that about Southwest which is the airline we were supposed to get back to Arkansas the 29th. – Ronnie Bogard Friendly crew, seamless check-in processes. Amazing value. I flew round-trip from JFK-Oslo and look forward to flying with them again. Their planes have modern entertainment TV's per seat. I believe the food/drinks are a la carte but not a deal breaker with how they price their flights. – R. Bayne I was excited to fly Norse. The introductory fares were so cheap that the flight for my family of five came to around the same price as a single return on a direct flight to London with a legacy carrier. We flew MCO to Oslo, spent a night, flew to LON then back through Oslo to MCO two weeks later. The flight was on a brand new aircraft, we did the basic ticket packs, (no food, assigned seating or baggage). I don’t like eating on night flights east, and happy to a la carte on the way back. Flight took off and landed on time, spotlessly clean, good food and entertainment. CEO managing check in on return leg was a nice touch too! My go to for regular MCO - Oslo - LON from now on. – C. Haine Editor's Two Cents I figured someone looking at flying Norse might find this useful. They have now been used on four flights for us, from JFK to London Gatwick and from JFK to Oslo. We traveled round-trip to both locations, using them as hubs for transfers to Norwegian or Easy Jet. There were eight of us on the trip to Oslo and seven on the trip to Gatwick. On every flight, we purchased Norse Premium. It's similar to the pre-lay flat business class on many of the airlines I've flown on in the past forty years—generous recline, reasonably spacious, with decent headrests and footrests. My two overnight flights to the east went well. and found comfort on both legs of the journey west. These are 787s, which are incredibly quiet, stable, and smooth. Every flight had extremely professional pilots, and every flight had excellent cabin crew members. a notable contrast to US network carriers, where a large number of unsavory FAs work. On every flight, we checked our bags, and they arrived without any problems. Every flight departed early or on schedule. While our twentysomething children watched movies on the IFE, I powered my laptop using the seat outlet. In all honesty, I didn't mind that there isn't wifi. It feels good to be disconnected. Our ticket package included the food, and since I've taken hundreds of flights on numerous airlines, I don't really have high standards for airline food, so what we had on Norse was perfectly acceptable. All in all, if you're looking for an affordable way to cross the Atlantic, I wholeheartedly endorse Norse. I had a good night's sleep in the premium seats, and the price of their seats plus the fare from Gatwick to Athens was 40% less than the nonstop ticket on United from EWR. My sincere hope is that more people will help this relatively new airline so they can keep going. In my opinion, airline point programs have become so worthless that I've given up on them. All I want is a comfortable seat on an aircraft to get me where I need to go. Norse truly provide value. To Wrap It Up! That was all for information regarding norse atlantic airways reviews and more. Thank you for reading up till here. I hope you found the information useful. Let me know in the comments your thoughts on the same.
