This is a call to action for all beach lovers! I am here with a list of nine beaches in Perth that will satisfy your urge to submerge yourself in the water and the activities that come with it. You will not be disappointed if you visit even one of these nine beaches. They are a collection of beaches with good views and different activities, including swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and scuba diving! Australia is known for its diversity in flora and fauna. If you are visiting Perth, they are a must. I am a mountain lover, but there is something in the sea and the wide expanse of the ocean that takes your breath away! Beaches are designed by nature to relax individuals into doing things they do not get time to do regularly. So, what is the best time to visit Australia? If you sit on the beach with a drink in hand and stare at people, you will have the best time of your life. I am also a reader, so if you spread your body along the white sand and read a book, I am sure you will have this relaxing memory for the rest of your life. 9 of the Best Beaches in Perth that You Must Visit So why are you looking for beaches in Perth? Did you know that, apart from Perth, other coastal areas in Australia, such as beaches in Sydney and Melbourne, are beautiful and worth visiting? Sometimes, even the locals need clarification about which one they should go to. The soft white sand is a visual treat, along with the crystal-clear water. There is a place to eat, Wooden Wagon, in the dog beach area, which is people's favorite! Another place is Orange Box, where you can go ahead, pull out a deck chair close to the main car park, and enjoy the ambiance. If you are more of a wine person, a new place is opening called North Fremantle, which offers a variety of snacks along with a long-curated list of wines. Cottesloe Beach An iconic beach among all bountiful beaches, Cottesloe is mentioned as one of the significant beaches in Perth! To experience this beautiful beach for everyone, you must drive from Perth, which will take 20 minutes. This is the most popular beach in Perth—the locals call it Cott! Surrounded by vistas and coastlines, this beach has it all. Whether planning a family outing with your kids or a romantic beach date with your partner, you'll find everything you need to enjoy the ambiance. If you are a typical beach lover, this is it for you. Find a great spot, sit for a drink at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel, and enjoy the sunset while people-watching! You also cannot miss the Prego Italian restaurant if you love Italian food. Scarborough Beach Scarborough Beach is known for people-watching in Western Australia. Mullaloo Beach The Mullaloo beach is quite ideal for you if you have children! It is a popular spot for swimming so that you can take a dip in the ocean's calm waters. Trigg Beach If you are a surfer, darling, you must visit the Trigg beach! You can visit anytime as a tourist, but the locals always head there when the weather is wild, and the waves swell skyward. For experienced surfers, that is an adventure. However, if you are still a beginner, avoid rough weather. The rough waves rip your boat apart, or surfers can touch the sky! Perth's experienced surfers rate this beach as one of the best, which means you might find a lot of crowds. It is the mecca of surfing and quite popular among the locals! Along with the solitude, you will also get the thrill of adventure. Coogee Beach If you are staying in Perth City, you must travel to Coogee Beach by car, which will take about 35 minutes. If you are planning to visit this beach, you must try the jetty jumps, apart from going on a jetty for fishing! It is also considered one of the best beaches in Australia! A huge area is covered in grass where you can organize your family picnic. In the beach environment, there is an abandoned power station that you can visit before you go to the beach. I remember my first quiet Sunday in Paris—it caught me off guard. The whole city just… slowed down. No horns, no rush, just this calm hum underneath everything. You could actually hear the church bells bouncing off the empty streets.  It will feel a bit strange at first. You will feel like you woke up before the world did. Some of the shops will be shut, some light spilling over the rooftops, and the air will smell like freshly baked bread.  By mid-morning, the city will wake up again, but this time it will be slow. The shops will open, and you will notice people moving around, communicating with others. Things will seem slow and cozy, and you will see how these people enjoy life.  Same with Rue Mouffetard—music from nowhere, old ladies arguing over fruit, a kid tugging at his mom’s sleeve. Even Batignolles, tucked away from the usual crowd, hums with its own little rhythm.  There are various things to do on Sunday in Paris, as the major attractions might be closed. Some of the major markets and shops will not open. So, it is important that you plan something nice and simple and just enjoy life in Paris for a day. Things To Do On Sunday In Paris Lately, people have caught on to this slower Paris. You end up seeing a side of Paris that doesn’t try to impress you—it just is. 1. Market Mornings And Fresh Finds If you can get yourself out early (I barely managed), the markets are wild in the best way. Marché Bastille is my favorite. It’s messy, loud, alive.  You will hear people arguing about prices, vendors shouting, and someone playing accordion like he is auditioning for a movie. Piles of tomatoes, a bunch of scarves, the smell of bread, everything will make you feel alive. 2. Stillness In The Streets Then everything quiets down again. Around late morning, it’s like the city decides to take a nap. Montmartre, Le Marais—they turn soft and slow. Shutters half-closed, sunlight sliding across cobblestones, the occasional bike bell echoing through an alley.  You pass an artist sketching, someone leaning on a balcony, a couple holding hands, as if time had stopped for them. It’s cinematic, honestly. On a Sunday, walking across the Seine feels like walking through someone’s dream. 3. Long Lunches, Parisian-Style Now, if there’s one thing Parisians take seriously, it’s Sunday lunch. You can’t rush it. Even if you tried, they’d probably ignore you until you relaxed.  Tables fill with families, old friends, strangers turned companions. You order steak-frites or roast chicken, maybe onion soup if you’re lucky. Bread everywhere, wine always flowing.  No one looks at their watch. Meals last hours—literally. You talk, eat, sip, pause, talk again. And dessert? You don’t skip it. Tarte Tatin, if you can find it. Or cheese. Always cheese. 4. Enjoy High Tea Enjoying a high tea in Paris is one of the best things to do on a Sunday in Paris. Most of the big hotels also offer afternoon tea even on public holidays. The Ritz Paris offers afternoon tea, which creates a sense of occasion.  Afternoon tea at Le Meurice is something you should experience at least once in your lifetime. However, you will have to book this in advance as this is quite popular. Moreover, you can try afternoon tea at Le Bristol.  This is kind of a hidden gem, and not as popular as its competitors. It is less crowded and you will be able to visit it on public holidays as well. There is no reason to be crowded, but you have to book it in advance.  5. Parks And Picnics In Full Bloom If the weather is sunny and pleasant, you need to get out. There is no point staying indoors. Visit one of the parks like Parc Monceau, Jardin du Luxembourg, and Buttes-Chaumont.  Kids enjoy the park; they chase pigeons. You will notice musicians singing by the fountains, and older couples sitting peacefully, enjoying the surroundings. All you will need is a bottle of wine, a baguette, and some cheese. Just sit around and watch life unfold around you. 6. Go Shopping Among so many things to do on Sunday in Paris, there is no way to miss out on shopping. However, make sure there are no big holidays, or the stores will be closed. The designer shops and the big brands generally keep their store open on Sundays. However, do not estimate the flea shops. The St. Ouen flea market is less crowded, and you will be able to shop easily there, and getting there is also not very difficult. It is a small site, and you will be able to browse through stuff easily, and the variety you get here is unmatched. Where Everyday Life Becomes The Highlight By evening, you realize how little you’ve done. There are so many things to do on Sunday in Paris. And somehow, that’s the magic.  Paris doesn’t need your checklist—it just wants you to slow down long enough to notice it. The soft chatter, the smell of bread, the light hitting the Seine—it all feels like a secret only you found. Walking home that night, I remember thinking: nothing spectacular happened. No grand event, no story to brag about. Yet it felt like one of those rare days you actually lived instead of rushed through. That’s a Parisian Sunday for you. Quiet. Ordinary. And absolutely unforgettable.

Things To Keep In Mind While Traveling To Heat Wave Zones! Across the world, many places are currently heating up! Several tourist destinations and other places in Asia, Europe and the United States have heat wave temperatures. Officials in countries like France and Italy in Europe have issued health warnings. I am not saying it is highly risky, but the probability of the situation becoming risky is high! If you are visiting one of the heat wave zones, you may not be able to stick to your original plan, be it for vacation or professional liabilities. Let's explore further the precautions you might take to be safe when you visit or have to visit a heat wave zone! What Are Heat Waves? The increasing global temperature worldwide has led to people experiencing some of the hottest days! It is identified as a heat wave, especially when the temperature from June 2023 has been recorded as the warmest in the global records. The increasing heat wave temperature has succinctly impacted water supplies, agriculture, ecosystems, energy, human health and economies. One of the major reasons for heat waves has been greenhouse gas emissions, which need to be cut off as soon as possible. Climate change is a serious threat; we must take it that way to survive and help our future generations. What Are The Regions With Heat Wave Zones? In Europe, the temperature in Rome reached 104°F in July, while in Sardinia, it was 112°F. In at least 23 cities in Italy, there have been red alerts for the weather as the heat wave is potentially becoming a threat in recent times. Tourists have been passing out, creating an awareness towards global climate change and crisis. Now, Death Valley in Nevada, running along a section of the border of Central California, is identified as the "hottest place on earth"! The National Weather Service reported that the temperature reached 128°F in July 2023, a clear cause for concern. People living in Los Angeles heat wave are having serious health issue concerns! According to the weather forecast, the capital of Arizona, Phoenix, has seen a rise in temperature to 114°F while Florida and Texas are equally heating up! La Palma, located in the Canary Islands, has been riddled with wildfires recently, leading to the evacuation of 4,000 people from their homes. The popular tourist destination, the Acropolis in Athens, was shut down at the beginning of July this year during midday! It is peak time for tourist visits, but because the authorities informed us the temperature could rise to 111.2°F within a week, it was closed! In China, the recorded temperature in northwestern Xinjiang province was 126°F. Places worldwide have been hampered by the heat wave temperatures, impacting people's lifestyles, tourism and the country's economy. Is It Safe To Travel To Heat Wave Zones? As travelers, you should check the upcoming weather and climate of the location that you are visiting! If you visit one of the places I have stated regarding increasing temperature, you must keep a tab on the everyday temperature. Your sightseeing might go differently than planned if a situation occurs when one of the monuments or places you will be visiting is shutdown due to increasing temperature. If you suffer from chronic health conditions, you should not go out, especially in the scorching heat! If you are visiting from professional liability, you must carry out certain steps to cope with the heat. Remember that the temperature starts building from 11 a.m.; hence, try to enter a building or where your work is within that time frame. Read along further to learn about your steps to stay safe! What Are The Things To Do If You Travel To Heat Wave Zones? In the evening, the temperature will come down. Hence, it would be best to keep yourself cool in the daytime. Try to find a cool restaurant, gallery or museum if you are visiting one of these countries to stay in air conditioning for some time. Try to wear clothing that is made of cool fabric, such as cotton! It is even better if the material is light and loose from your clothing. Try to use sunscreen as much as possible. Recently, people have been using manual and electric handheld fans to keep the face and body cool as much as possible. Another important thing that you must do is use heat wave sunglasses when outside! Drink more beverages and filled food, such as fruits, salads, and veggies! Also, ensure that you must have insurance covering all your medical expenses before traveling. What Are The Health Risks? Heatwave zones have several health risks, such as heatstroke or sunstroke! In this condition, your body cannot maintain a safe temperature, especially when exposed to hot weather. The body temperature must not exceed 103 Fahrenheit, but in sunstroke, it does. There is also a chance of getting pale skin, muscle cramps, sweating, and exhaustion. Currently, the US heat wave is one of the serious concerns for business travelers! You might get red and blotchy skin if you stay in the sun for too long! You have to take fluid regularly. Chances of dizziness, headaches, and sweating when visiting heat wave zones are high! Finishing Up… Overall, climate change has led to health risks along with issues where people cannot avoid these situations. With increasing temperatures in certain places across the world, people, children, and senior citizens cannot cope with the increasing temperature. People with chronic health conditions such as allergies to skin, asthma, upset stomachs, and headaches are facing more issues, especially when traveling to heatwave zones.
