Flair Airlines Review: This Is How I Feel About Flair Airlines!

For the longest time, Air Canada and WestJet have been dominating the Canadian airline industry, which has led to the prevalence of high airfare. However, with the emergence of new contenders, things are finally changing. Flair Airlines is one such competitor of the legacy airlines that have a strong hold on the Canadian Airline industry. It is a low-cost carrier that has been expanding its operations during the pandemic to include U.S. travel hotspots like Arizona, Florida, California, and Nevada, continuing to operate on an extensive Canadian route network that covers most major cities in the country.

Here is my brief take on the Flair Airlines experience I had. Keep reading because this is going to be very useful.

My Experience Of Flair Airlines

Here is a first-hand experience or a Flair Airlines review of the recent travel I had flying from Toronto to Montreal. Read on to know if it was worth it.

Booking

Booking

I booked my flight on Google Flights, searching for the cheapest flight from Toronto to Montreal. On my date of flight, both Flair and Air Canada had early morning flights, and yet Flair was priced at half of the Air Canada ticket. There was, of course, the added benefit of a full-size carry-on bag but even on a standard fee, Air Canada would be charging for seat selection. Flair is a solid selection if you are traveling light, even if it includes seat selection. The Flair Airlines baggage policy is a little icky if you are traveling heavy instead.

A one-way flight on December 15 via Flair costs 40. Whereas WestJet’s and Air Canada’s cheapest flights are $135. I had to pay a minimum of $7.90 for seat selection.

Check-in

Check-in

It was a simple experience checking in at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. All of Flair’s Toronto flights depart from Terminal 3, so that is where I did my check-in.

Flair has a few baggage drops and check-in counters located in the center of the terminal.

Ground Experience

My flight was supposed to depart from Gate B38. I cleared my security in under 10 minutes. The airport was mostly empty, given the wee hours we were departing (7:30 a.m.)

There were some shops open despite the timings, so I got a coffee and yogurt from Starbucks and sat away from the crowd for some uninterrupted breakfast.

Flair does not have its own lounges.

Cabins And Seats

Cabins And Seats

The flight was one of Flair’s three 737-800 (read tiny) aircraft. The airline operates with economy-only cabins suited for its ultra-low-cost carrier.

The interiors were nondescript and spotless. It is simply designed without any frills like over or seatback displays. The flight was made with the intention of taking a passenger from point A to point B. The seats were comfy enough at the cost I paid.

They did not recline, but they were not as slim as other similar carriers in the U.S. The extra padding on the seats helped ease the other small space. The leg room was commendably larger than its other similarly ranged carriers. It also had a full-size tray that could easily fit a 16-inch Macbook Pro. Spirit Airlines offers only a small drink tray.

Flair Airlines Amenities

There are no inflight amenities or entertainment. There is no wifi, streaming services, or outlets on the 737-800. Keeping that in mind, have your devices on a full charge and make sure to get a window seat to keep yourself entertained for these otherwise short flights.

The food and beverage services could get you to pay $2.75 for a soda and $5.50 for a Molson beer. A coffee would cost $2.35. All that after currency conversion.

My Verdict

I did not have much qualms about flying with Flair. It was a regular journey from one place to another. The airline’s internet service is also set to launch soon so that too can be an attraction for travelers. Flair’s rapid expansion is on its way to breaking through the expensive air carrier industry with its budget-friendly approach.

I told you what I felt from my experience. But if you want to know what others are saying about Flair Airlines, here are some of the Flair Airlines reviews left by real flyers on Tripadvisor.

In case you are asking yourself, “Is Flair Airlines good” or “Is Flair Airlines safe,” here are all your answers:

“My mom and I traveled to edmonton in the beginning of July to a convention, it was my first time on plane and was understandably nervous. The folks when I arrived at the gate was friendly and welcomed us! Everything was on time and found our seats okay, we will definitely upgrade next time but being it was only an hour 1/2 flight it was fine. If you are flying and bringing more than 1 bag and carry on, one thing I recommend to save $ is to purchase a package online and pre book. It’s the one thing I wish I knew before hand. Otherwise baggage is pricey. Coming back from Edmonton it was a great experience too! Given the option I will choose Flair again to travel within Canada. Prices are good and the staff are very friendly. Even better, our flights to and from were 10 minutes early. So bonus!”

Ashley P

“After reading some questionable reviews about Flair i was convinced i was not going to have a good experience. I am blown away by the level of kindness and overall attentiveness of the flight attendants, along with the customer service i had received over the phone. Had bought our seats prior to both flights and we had no problems with keeping those seats unlike some other airlines that tend to mess that up every time.

I highly recommend this airline to everyone and will gladly be returning!”

Stefanie b

“I am tired of people complaining in this industry. Covid changed many things, but I am grateful to travel again.

We took a family trip out to Vancouver Island with Flair.

Captain Tyler McDermot was wonderful and after the flight, I was invited for a picture with him.

The crew were wonderful, check in was quick and our flight on time.

Great job Flair!!!”

Gail G

“Booked online and purchased carryon only. Checked in online to avoid paying checkin fee at airport. Downloaded movies and brought my own snacks. People need to realize that Flair base prices only include your seat. Their website clearly states all extra costs. It would be great if Flair continues their Windsor to BC route throughout the whole year. I booked taking a chance, after reading all of the negative reviews about cancelling, I guess I was one of the lucky ones. It’s nice to have a direct flight to BC from Windsor and avoid paying three times more, with other airlines and having connections, at either Pearson or Metro.”

Managing And Distributing Travel Press Kits For New Releases With Headless CMS

BY  Sibashree Sep 19, 2025

A cruising company launches a new fleet! A luxury resort adds new villas! You need to position them. In simple words, you need to market or publicize the new launches.  Also, when you position a new launch, you have to send press kits to journalists. And today, you even have to do it for digital influencers.  A press kit can consist of an array of assets associated with the project, from bios to trailers, images, logos, quotes, fact sheets, and media contacts.  A headless CMS provides a seamless, efficient, centralized approach to organizing press kits. In this Tour and Travel Blog, we will discuss all the details about how headless CMS transforms travel press kit distribution. How Headless CMS Transforms Travel Press Kit Distribution?  Do you need press release kits for a small release? Or, is there a global release in concern? In both scenarios, a headless CMS can manage the overwhelming tasks.  Here is more about how a headless CMS transforms the organization and distribution of travel press kits. 1. Press Kit Elements In One Place For Global Release Press kits are ordinarily constructed à la carte, with the distribution being emailing and/or file sharing. This works for smaller releases. However, it becomes increasingly overwhelming in scale, especially with global releases that have various formats, regions, or translated editions. A headless CMS offers one source of all press kit elements established in a digital asset management cloud library.  The content teams are controlling it all from within. Editors can build and save reusable content blocks from cast bios and synopses to brand logos tagged by project, release type, or strategic territories.  This ensures the same cast bio isn't rewritten across international borders and that release specifics are the same in copy and imagery, no matter where it's being used. This saves time and effort, brand integrity, and has everything on record. 2. Assets Organized For Finding And Accessibility A press kit is more than a folder of files. It is a live and breathe thing that requires finding and accessibility.  A headless CMS offers the opportunity for every director to quote, behind-the-scenes image, or trailer to be created as its own entry. Further, it is structured with metadata, categories, usage approvals, etc.  Storyblok for developers demonstrates how this structured setup makes both internal asset management and external partner access more efficient.  This not only allows for internal searching, filtering, and sorting to find what's needed in a prompt fashion, but also external. Media partners are given access to a front-end portal (provided by the CMS) that allows for easy access to approved assets, all searchable and filtered based on what editors want to be visible, under embargo, or time-gated.  3. Customizable Press Pages For Various Audiences Press kit audiences frequently need different pieces of your kit. International journalists often require translated versions. However, influencers may want your branded social graphics or teaser trailers in shorter forms.  A headless CMS allows you to generate press pages on demand for specific audiences through conditional logic and role-based access.  Editors can denote who receives what and when, gatekeeping regionally appropriate kits, branded press landing pages, or tiered access to embargoed components delivered through a branded interface for secure access to materials that enhance your brand's professional image. 4. Supporting Real-Time Updates And Last-Minute Changes In the world of press and publicity, everything changes at a moment's notice. Release dates shift. New quotes are in, or last-minute approvals are pushed.  A headless CMS allows the team to make changes to the content instantly. Since everything is connected through the CMS, changes will occur in real-time across all portals and platforms.  There's no need to resend files or distinguish which version is the approved version. If an updated cast list is needed, if the logline contains a typo that requires correction, or if an image is no longer usable and needs to be replaced, it can be done once from within the CMS and automatically sent to all necessary locations.  When it comes time for launches, this real-time capability is essential. 5. Integrating With Workflow And Distribution Tools Managing a press kit does not exist in a vacuum. Many other systems live alongside creation and distribution.  A headless CMS connects beautifully with other tools through APIs and webhooks, allowing seamless transfer from content creation to approval to final distribution.  Once a press kit goes live in a headless CMS, automated notifications can go out to the PR team, media partners, or automated distribution lists.  Files can be transferred into asset databases, email distributions can feature press kits, or assets can be included in media coverage.  These integration opportunities reduce manual labor while empowering smaller teams to accomplish gigantic press efforts with ease. 6. Allowing For Localization And Regional Changes Often, press kits require regional changes. They require translation and changes in treatment based on formatting regulations or sociocultural significance.  A headless CMS allows localization efforts to occur as editors can create language variants of each content asset as well as regionally specific adaptations. 7. Enhancing The Media Experience With Interactive Offerings And Multimedia Additions The press kit is no longer just a PDF or ZIP file. Media members are seeking something more interactive that presents the level of quality and creativity as if the release were already complete.  A headless CMS allows for such press opportunities all on a microsite or portal to house the embedded trailer, photo gallery, downloadable assets, and even an interactive timeline.  With structured content and more unified front-end frameworks, these experiences can be created and deployed in no time, providing a tailored experience where media partners can see assets in situ and have a better understanding of the story being told through the release.  8. Offering Security And Controlled Access For Sensitive Information Sensitive or embargoed information often comes with pre-release materials. Uncut trailers or cuts, non-disclosure production notes, and limited-access interviews! When a release is embedded within a headless CMS, security can be built into the very content model. Assets can be time-locked, password-protected, or given dedicated access roles.  An entire team can assign and remove access on a user level and track who downloaded what.  This means that not only are press kits successful, but they are also secure, with every stakeholder confident that sensitive information will only be viewed by authorized eyes when it should and not one second sooner. 9. Measuring Engagement And Success Of Assets and Press Coverage Having access to knowing how successful press kits are is integral for PR improvements and ROI through engagement.  Headless CMS can integrate with analytics trackers to know the following. Which assets are downloaded the most Which press URLs have the most views And how long users interact with engaged content.  These findings inform where PR and marketing teams can pay attention to future endeavors, but also who engages consistently with certain types of releases and can be followed up with more thoroughly.  Over time, this kind of IRL feedback loop can improve press kit creation from square one to assembled assets over time while allowing for shortcuts in the future when similar projects arise. 10. Enabling Collaboration Between PR, Marketing, And Creative Teams Multiple teams work on the different elements of a press release. They use messaging elements from PR, marketing assets for campaign tie-in, and then creative teams as it relates to content creation/imagery.  A headless CMS fosters a collaborative workspace for all, where everyone has access to the same area without disruption.  Thanks to role permissions, version history, and editorial workflows, assets get timely approval. Also, consistency and quality remain across the board due to ease of collaboration.  This fosters teamwork as no one works in a silo. Everyone knows what everyone else is doing. Also, the time to publish becomes shorter for the big, necessary releases that require more hands on deck. 11. Facilitating Evergreen And Archive Access For Legacy Titles Some press kits are created with the intention of one-time use.  Others, however, require an evergreen approach to long-tail publicity or, perhaps, anniversary releases down the line.  A headless CMS allows access to live press kits, even after an event is over.  Archived kits can live in a press portal, easily categorized and searchable quickly by anyone who needs to access them.  Likewise, editors can update this material down the line as well, keeping legacy content available and relevant, for press, partners, and fans alike, without recreating the wheel. 12. Providing Responsive Press Experiences Across Devices Journalists, bloggers, and influencers access press kits on the go from their phones, tablets, and laptops.  A headless CMS allows developers to create responsive, mobile-friendly press portals that automatically adjust based on screen size and situation.  Whether someone needs to download a high-res image or watch an embedded trailer or simply cut-and-paste a quote from your press release, it’s all available in a seamless experience across devices. This works in your favor, too, encouraging better engagement while promoting your title. 13. Future-Proofing Press Kit Content For New Channels of Consumption As media and communication evolve over time, so too do the channels through which press materials are consumed. Think: voice assistants, messaging bots, OTT, and more.  A headless CMS gives proper structure to content. Content is decoupled from presentation. So, there exists an opportunity to repurpose press communication. This notion of survival of the fittest keeps you in good standing with accessible press communication, no matter how technology or methods of consumption change. 14. Scheduled Publishing For Controlled Release Of Embargoed Assets There are certain embargoed assets that require release at specific times and control over where they live. Exclusive interviews, never-before-seen stills, trailers not yet on the World Wide Web! With a headless CMS, the content team can schedule publishing for every asset included in a press kit.  Instead of having to remember what needs to go live (and at what time) for each digital asset, everything can be scheduled to go live as soon as the embargo lifts.  This avoids the necessity to go in and manually release things or accidentally release something too early.  Plus, coupled with automated notifications and access, such a situation allows for a seamless, professional distribution process. 15. Brand Consistency Across Multiple Press Kits For Studios, Publishers, And Agencies Agencies, studios, and publishers often have multiple campaigns running simultaneously, and brand consistency is key.  A headless CMS allows teams to create certain design elements, templates, and content blocks. Also, there can be repurposing across multiple campaigns.  Whether it's logo and typography elements or tone-of-voice and boilerplates, everything can be exactly the same. There's no design drift, and entities can always stay true to the identity they desire.  Read Also: The Volcanic Landscape of Katmai National Park: Come Visit The “Ring of Fire” How To Start A Travel Blog With A Headless CMS? Pros Of Google Flights: Just for the simple reason that this is not really an OTA, it is anyway better than almost all other tools. So before you can look up ‘Google flights Las Vegas,’ let's check out the top advantages of using this search engine. You can pretty much always directly book with any airline of your choice. You might come across multiple options for booking with different other sites, but at the same time, cutting out in-between costs while booking flights is more crucial than ever. Dealing with any airline agent is always better than dealing with bad customer support from some small online travel agency. Google Flights will enable you to look for multiple airports simultaneously, thereby helping you to find the cheapest airport to fly to or depart from, for that matter. And isn’t that the key to saving money on flights, especially when you are flying internationally? None of the search engines will do a better job when it comes to showing months' worth of flights, especially when you are trying to land the cheapest airline deals. You will even get notified if shifting your travel dates by a day or two can save reduce your expenditure. Cons Of Google Flights: Having noted down all the pros of using this, you might already be typing ‘google flights Seattle’ or some other location, but wait! this is not entirely perfect. It is close to perfect, but there are certain drawbacks. These drawbacks are as follows, Since Google Flights depend mostly on featuring airfare from the different airlines directly, you can, at times, come across cheaper fares via OTAs that end up cutting deals with various carriers for listing highly discounted flights. Google is almost always updating the inventory of different available flights. Occasionally, we might stumble upon certain issues that arise from outdated pricing. This means you might come across a price that you like, only to click and find out that the price has gone up. While a majority of flights are available through Google Flights, only a handful don’t really list their fares or on other search engines, for that matter. And It’s A Wrap! Google Flights is one of the coolest apps that we can use if we have regular flight business! The tools available help in utilizing resources along with making it easier for us to spend the right amount of money! And that’s a wrap on the Google Flights. What are your thoughts booking Google Flights? And while sharing your thoughts, don't forget to share your experiences associated to Google Flights in the comments below. From Gatwick To Sunshine: Straightforward Tricks For Cheaper Holidays

BY  Sibashree Aug 28, 2025

Flying out of Gatwick should feel exciting, not stressful. A bit of planning turns a pricey trip into a fair one.  The goal here is simple: spend less on the boring parts and more on the fun parts. These tips keep things calm, clear, and friendly to your wallet, whether the destination is Spain, Greece, or a city break in Europe. In this Tour and Travel blog, we will share the best advice for Gatwick to Sunshine travel and smart tips.  What Is The Best Advice For Gatewick To Sunshine Travel?  A cheaper holiday is not about luck. It is about small choices made early. Pick calm travel dates, set a firm budget, and search with a plan.  Pack light to dodge bag fees, carry snacks to stop impulse buys, and sort travel to the airport before booking. Keep documents in one place and arrive with time to spare.  At the destination, choose simple, local options and enjoy the free parts first. Do these steps and the flight from Gatwick leads straight to the good part: warm sun, clear days, and a trip that feels smart from start to finish. Here are more practical tips to follow.  1. Book At The Right Moment Without Overthinking It Prices move all the time. Looking too early can mean paying more, and leaving it too late can do the same. A steady plan works best.  Watch fares for a couple of weeks, set a clear budget, and move when the price fits the plan. Midweek flights often cost less than weekends because fewer people can travel then.  Early morning and late evening flights also tend to be cheaper, and they can help you fit more daylight into your first or last day away. School breaks push prices up around the UK, especially at Gatwick where many families fly.  If travel must fall in a busy week, focus on the first or last days of the break, when demand can dip. Flexibility by even one day can save a surprising amount. 2. Know Where To Hunt For Fair Prices Search tools help, but the trick is to use them with a plan. Compare a few dates at once rather than chasing a single day.  Check nearby airports too—Stansted, Luton, and even Birmingham or Bristol can be cheaper for the same destination.  If a package is easier than DIY, one handy thing to do is check out Cheap Holidays through reputable websites. This keeps options in one place so less time is spent opening dozens of tabs. Set clear rules before searching. Decide the top price that feels right, pick three date ranges, and choose a shortlist of destinations. This stops scrolling for hours and avoids the “maybe it will be cheaper tomorrow” trap. 3. Trim Bag Costs Before Pressing “Pay” Bags are where budgets go missing. Many low-cost fares include only a small personal item. Measure the bag at home.  If a wheeled carry-on is needed, add it during booking; buying it at the airport is usually the most expensive option.  Weigh the case after packing and leave a little space for souvenirs. Two people can share one checked bag instead of paying for two. Rolling clothes saves space, and packing cubes stop shirts from getting crumpled. Liquids go in small bottles under the limit, and solid versions of shampoo or soap can reduce hassle. A light rucksack keeps hands free, which helps when moving through busy train platforms on the way to Gatwick. 4. Be Smart With Seats, Extras, And Food Seat choice looks cheap at first, then adds up. If the plane is short-haul and the group can sit near each other without picking exact seats, skip the fee.  For families with young children, airlines often seat at least one adult next to a child. Extra-legroom seats are nice, but a short flight does not always need them.  Bring a small snack from home and refill a water bottle after security to avoid paying airport prices. A simple sandwich packed the night before costs less and saves time in queues. Travel insurance should not be an afterthought. Pick a basic policy that covers bags and delays. It costs far less than replacing a suitcase or missing a connection. Print or save the policy and booking codes to the phone wallet so everything is in one place. 5. Choose The Best Route To The Terminal Getting to Gatwick can be almost as costly as flying. Trains are usually faster and often cheaper than parking, especially if travelling alone or as a pair.  Off-peak tickets help, and railcards can cut a third off many fares. If a car is needed, book parking early. Official long-stay or trusted off-site car parks give better value than turning up on the day.  For a very early flight, a simple hotel near the airport can make sense. Sometimes a “park, sleep, fly” bundle beats buying those parts on their own. 6. Keep Documents Tidy And Move Through The Airport With Ease Put passports, boarding passes, insurance, and hotel details in one folder or a secure phone wallet.  Follow the signs, keep pockets empty at security, and place electronics in the tray as asked. Once airside, check the gate early but do not crowd it. Boarding happens in groups. 7. Stretch The Budget At The Destination Transfers from the airport are a classic money trap. Public buses and trains are cheaper than taxis in many places, and many cities sell simple day passes.  If a taxi is needed, use the official rank or a trusted app from the country. For hotels, paying for breakfast is not always the best value.  Local bakeries often cost less and taste better. Refill water where it is safe to do so. Museums, parks, and city walks are free or low-cost and fill a day nicely. The cheapest option is not always the one shouted by the person with the loudest voice.  Read a few recent reviews, check the time they pick up, and stick to plans that leave room for rest. 8. Make Family Travel Simple Small habits help families save. Pack one small entertainment pouch for each child: crayons, a short book, headphones, and a snack. For buggies, check the airline rules; many allow them to the gate, which saves renting one on arrival. If a child gets tired in queues, breathing games and counting steps keep minds busy and moods steady. 9. Stay Healthy And Safe Without Stress Sun trips need sunscreen, hats, and water. Buy travel-size sunscreen at a local shop if carry-on liquid rules make it tricky.  A tiny first-aid kit with plasters and pain relief avoids a hunt for a pharmacy.  Keep a backup of documents in cloud storage in case a phone is lost. Clear information saves  10. Skip common Traps That Raise The Bill Dynamic pricing can make the same flight cost more on a second look. Use a fresh browser window or a different device when ready to book.  Do not click every add-on in a hurry. Airport currency desks rarely give fair rates; a fee-free card or withdrawing a small amount from an ATM at the destination often works out better.  Roaming charges can be high, so check the network’s roaming bundles before leaving. Download maps for offline use to avoid data use on the move. Gatwick-Focused Tips That Make A Difference Know which terminal the flight uses and head there from the start. South Terminal and North Terminal have different security areas, shops, and lounges.  The shuttle between them is quick, but changing terminals at the last minute eats up time. If the flight leaves early, pick up breakfast after security to save money.  Many gates at Gatwick open closer to boarding time, so waiting near the screens keeps the group flexible. Keep chargers handy; seats near windows often have sockets that help top up a phone before the flight. If returning to Gatwick late at night, check train schedules in advance. Some services finish earlier, and replacement buses can be slower. A backup plan saves from being stuck on a platform in the cold.
