We planned XXXX brewery tours - visit Brisbane as a tribute to an Australian icon. I was traveling with my partner, and neither of us had ever done a brewery tour in Australia before.  So, naturally, the start was a little jittery. Still, we opted for it for a unique and fun experience. Also, we scheduled our XXXX brewery tours - visit Brisbane on our last day in Australia.  Moreover, we planned that our tour would start at 11 AM so that we had the rest of the day for leisure.  Still, we got late somehow and had to skip our breakfast to catch up with the tour. And, rushed and huffing and puffing, we reached the brewery 10 minutes late. We were hot and sweaty.  Moreover, at first we lost our way to the entrance, making us late by another five minutes. The moment I started thinking of it as a lost opportunity, the amazing people there told me that we could still join the 11 AM tour.  So, though the day did not start on a great note, it did not feel bad anymore.  How To Reach The XXXX Brewery? That is why I am sharing the details about how you will reach the brewery.  The brewery is located opposite the Milton Railway Station. Furthermore, you will have to take a brief walk from the Suncorp Stadium.  Once you reach the brewery, you need to locate the entrance. It is at the corner of Paten Street and Black Street.  Confused, we ran up and down Milton Street. Don’t make this mistake.  How Was Our Experience Of XXXX Brewery Tours - Visit Brisbane? So, the XXXX brewery tour started. It was a delightful step-by-step process, and we enjoyed it thoroughly.  1. Getting Ready For The Tour  When we reached the brewery, we got baseball caps with an XXXX branding. We also had to wear lanyards, fluorescent vests, and goggles.  In addition, they gave me plimsolls to wear as I had open-toe shoes on. I loved my look when I was ready in the gear.  Also, the best thing was that there were not many people on the tour. A guy called Rickie took charge of our tour. He was quite goofy, but he had in-depth knowledge of the brewery and ale-making.  2. And The Tour Started  He started the tour with a crisp video of the XXXX story and took us around. We saw how everyone was in action inside the brewery. He actually showed us the process of beer making.  You have to take the tour yourself to understand the things I saw. 3. Exploring The History And Making Of The Beer  We saw the bottles whizzing, and there were brewing tanks. Then, the bottles were moving on the conveyor belts for storage and labelling.  Afterward, Rickie took us to a small museum, and we learned about the history of beer there. The bottle designs were diverse, and they had the XXXX mascot and other paraphernalia.  Once again, unless you are a part of the tour, you will not understand why the XXXX brewery is the most iconic brewery of Queensland, and it has a history of 145 years.  The tour took us around 90 minutes, and then came the most exciting part, the beer tasting. The things we can do for free beer! Cheesy? Can’t help it.  Enjoying Free Beer On XXX Brewery Tours - Visit Brisbane  We had to take off our health and safety gear at the end of the tour. Then, Rickie took us to the bar. There, we sample four different types of beers brewed there.  I cannot remember the names because, anyway, the Australian diction is not the easiest thing to decipher for my Indian sensibilities. However, I liked the taste of each variant.  I was missing my colleagues and friends badly. Those people, the beer towers kept me going, where evenings turned into nights and the work hours were never-ending.  Nevertheless, once we finished sampling, Rickie handed us a full-sized bottle of beer. It was so much fun at the bar.  And that was not all. The bartender had an extra glass of beer ready, and he offered it to me as a great gesture.  My partner even tried a glass of champagne there, as everyone present was celebrating the Melbourne Cup. It is indeed “The Race that stops a nation.” They poured so many glasses that even a handsome crowd could not finish them.  Our Brunch Plan Changed Into A Lunch Session Soon  With adequate beer tasting and having champagne, both of us were drunk. This was surely the booziest brunch I ever had.  We were naughty and even felt hungry. So, we decided to have lunch at the XXXX bar. I ordered a salmon dish. Of course, I don’t remember the name, and my partner opted for a huge burger to soak in the alcohol.  The Lovely Atmosphere Of The Bar  We loved the atmosphere of the bar. The tour did not have many people. However, many people were already present at the bar, and they were watching the Melbourne Cup on a big screen. Still, all of us found comfortable seats and had a fun meal. Probably, great beer makes you feel in a way, but I enjoyed everything about the hours I spent there.  Also, the staff was really friendly. So, if you are in Brisbane and relax in a safe space, you must plan a XXX brewery tour.  Things To Keep In Mind For XXXX Brewery Tours - Visit Brisbane  If you want to join the XXXX brewery tours - Visit Brisbane, you need to have an ID proof, and you have to be above 18 years.  Furthermore, you can book the tours in advance through Viator.  You can take the tours from Wednesdays to Saturdays.  It is better to wear covered shoes. Otherwise, you will have to wear plimsolls like me.  The only disadvantage I found in the brewery was the absence of wheelchairs or clutches. Also, you will have to take steps. So, the tour will be difficult for you if you have mobility issues. For a long time, Air Canada and WestJet have dominated the Canadian airline industry, driving up airfares. However, with the emergence of new contenders, things are finally changing. Flair Airlines is one such competitor to the legacy airlines that have a strong hold on the Canadian Airline industry. It is a low-cost carrier that expanded its operations during the pandemic. This includes U.S. travel hotspots like Arizona, Florida, California, and Nevada. While continuing to operate an extensive Canadian route network that covers most major cities in the country. Here is my brief take on my Flair Airlines experience. Keep reading because this is going to be very useful. My Experience Of Flair Airlines Image Source: assets.bwbx.io Hereis my first-hand Flair Airlines review of a recent trip I took from Toronto to Montreal. Read on to know if it was worth it. On my flight date, both Flair and Air Canada had early-morning flights, yet Flair was priced at half the Air Canada ticket. There was, of course, the added benefit of a full-size carry-on bag, but even on a standard fare, Air Canada would be charging for seat selection. Flair is a solid selection if you are traveling light, even if it includes seat selection. Flair's baggage policy is a little icky if you are traveling heavy instead. A one-way flight on December 15 via Flair costs 40. Whereas WestJet’s and Air Canada’s cheapest flights are $135. I had to pay at least $7.90 for seat selection. All of Flair’s Toronto flights depart from Terminal 3, so I checked in there. Flair has a few baggage drops and check-in counters located in the center of the terminal. The airport was mostly empty, given the wee hours we were departing (7:30 a.m.) Some shops were still open, so I grabbed a coffee and yogurt from Starbucks and sat away from the crowd for an uninterrupted breakfast. The airline operates economy-only cabins suited to its ultra-low-cost model. The interiors were nondescript and spotless. It is designed simply, without frills like overhead or seatback displays. The flight was designed to take a passenger from point A to point B. The seats were comfy enough at the cost I paid. They didn't recline, but they weren't as slim as seats on other similar U.S. carriers. The extra padding on the seats helped make up for the limited space. The legroom was commendably larger than its other similarly ranged carriers. It also had a full-size tray that could easily fit a 16-inch MacBook Pro. Spirit Airlines offers only a small drink tray. With that in mind, keep your devices fully charged and try to get a window seat to stay entertained on these otherwise short flights. Food and beverage services could cost you $2.75 for a soda and $5.50 for a Molson beer. A coffee would cost $2.35. All that after currency conversion. The airline’s internet service is also set to launch soon, which could be an attraction for travelers. Flair’s rapid expansion is on track to break into the expensive airline industry with its budget-friendly approach. Amsterdam is one of the best family vacation spots in the world.  Well, the canals and bikes are legendary. However, you also get something that you probably did not expect.  Amsterdam teaches you the art of slow traveling and the thrill of “doing nothing” as a tourist looking for meaningful and authentic experiences.  So, as a believer of TheLowDownUnder Travel, the capital of the Netherlands became my instant favorite.  Furthermore, once you reach Amsterdam, you find out that nothing is superficial about it, and the layered history of the city keeps the intrigue alive.  Hence, you always want to come back to Amsterdam.  Hi, in today’s blog, I will talk about the things to do in Amsterdam. (Beyond Ticking The Bucket List) The Keukenhof Gardens in Amsterdam have all the credit for being one of the best places in the world to see flowers.  Furthermore, it is home to historical and cultural landmarks such as the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum.  However, the things to do in Amsterdam are not limited to exploring these places. The real thing to do here is to soak in the history, culture, and livelihood of the city.  So, this is how I experienced Amsterdam.  1. Know A City Built On Water And Ambition A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Amsterdam’s Canal Ring was engineered in the 17th century.  The 17th century was the Dutch Golden Age, and it is no wonder that Amsterdam was one of the most powerful trade hubs in the world then.  Till today, these waterways lined with tilting canal houses continue to be the backbone of daily life.  You can cycle along the banks like a local or enjoy your time in the houseboats, which bob quietly in the morning mist. These also connect the neighborhoods.  Moreover, the city is very walkable.  The city centre has a series of concentric canals radiating outward from Central Station. Also, most of the major attractions are within cycling or walking distance.  2. Explore Culture At Every Corner The Rijksmuseum is the crown jewel in the cultural landscape of the Dutch capital.  Here, you can see all the great work from the Dutch Golden Age of painting. Furthermore, it has works of Rembrandt and Vermeer.  A short walk away, the Van Gogh Museum draws visitors from across the globe, while the Stedelijk offers a strong programme of modern and contemporary art.  For something more intimate, the smaller canal house museums like Museum Van Loon or the Willet-Holthuysen give you a glimpse into how Amsterdam's merchant elite actually lived. Then there's the Anne Frank House on the Prinsengracht, a sobering and essential visit that tells one of history's most important stories within the very walls where it unfolded. Book tickets well in advance. Beyond the museums, Amsterdam rewards wandering.  The Nine Streets district is a tangle of independent boutiques, vintage shops, and coffee bars tucked between the Herengracht and the Prinsengracht.  The Jordaan neighbourhood, once a working-class area, is now one of the most charming parts of the city, full of small galleries, brown cafés, and local markets. 3. Enjoy The Food, Drink, And The Art Of Doing Nothing Dutch food has come a long way from its reputation for simplicity.  Amsterdam's restaurant scene now spans everything from Indonesian rijsttafel, a legacy of the country's colonial history, to outstanding French bistros, modern European tasting menus, and some of the best street-level snacking in Northern Europe.  Grab a fresh herring from a harbour stall, settle into a traditional brown café for a local beer, or book ahead at one of the city's many acclaimed restaurants. The café culture here is worth embracing fully.  Amsterdam's brown cafés, or bruine kroegen, are warm, unhurried spaces designed for long conversations and slow afternoons. So, it can be a favorite stay for the dark academia fans.  Furthermore, writers and intellectuals have loved gathering here since the 1980s, and it has a Library Bar housing more than 5000 books.  Moreover, each book is signed by an author who stayed here.  So, this Dutch hotel is not just a place to stay. It is a destination in itself.  3. Indulge In The Cuisine  The Brasserie Ambassade serves French-inspired cuisine seven days a week.
