Based on Kiwi Flights reviews, I will be writing my experience of the Kiwi Flights and how travel experiences can be severely impacted. Further, I will address the advantages and shortcomings of the airlines!

While we have heard about the exciting features of Kiwi flights that apparently helps users to plan their travel itineraries for savings and convenience, several regular users feel it might not always be a smooth ride. Although Kiwi is not really the ideal travel agency for all your trips yet it can prove to be a good tool for specific or even unique situations.

For instance, you came across the perfect flight deal for Europe, but you are located far away from the departing location. Naturally, you will look for flights from your home city, but the prices turn out to be double the rates you were getting from the initial deal. In that case, most of us would bid adieu to another dream vacation.

But, instead, have you thought of taking a different approach?

With the help of Kiwi, you can combine another bus, train, or flight with the initial cheap deal to reach your dream destination without spending a lot of money. So, we decided to check out Kiwi and decide whether it’s legit or just another scam platform. Stay tuned to find out more.

When booking a flight on Kiwi, it will take only 20 minutes but there are other concerns. With technical difficulties regularly occurring, booking flights in Kiwi can be a huge risk! What Is Kiwi?

So, what is Kiwi? Welcome to the Tour And Travel Blog’s Kiwi flights review. Today, we will discuss Kiwi, a travel agency that operates online. Based in the beautiful Czech Republic, the Kiwi platform specializes in combining different flights with various transportation types into one booking to make your dream vacation possible at affordable rates.

The platform uses a wide database filled with different bus, train, and flight schedules – these are combined together to provide users with travel options that are fast and cheap. While the platform can give you a great deal – a cheap flight combined with the right bus, train, or another flight can sometimes reduce your travel expenditure drastically.

However, there’s only one problem – at times, Kiwi can end up creating itineraries that are either complicated or overly competitive just to save some money.

Using Kiwi Flights: When Should You Use Kiwi?

For most of us, using Kiwi flights makes sense when the expenditure for any planned trip turns out to be really costly. For instance, you are in the middle of some last-minute emergency, or you need to book an international flight (one-way), or your itinerary is too complicated, and you are looking for an easy way to make things cheaper on the itinerary.

Yet, it has been observed that Kiwi Flights have had a 95% accuracy rate in predicting flight prices several months in advance. When combining the features of low-cost carriers along with analyzing airfare, it is one of the best on the market.

In all these cases, using Kiwi flights seems like an obvious solution. Here we can check out the benefits of using the Kiwi platform – stay tuned to find out more.

  • Save on expensive airfares.
  • Book one-way international flights.
  • Book multi-city trips with the help of Kiwi Nomad.
  • Manage last-minute emergencies.

There are some advantages that Kiwi flights have such as saving on expensive airfares along with booking one-way international flights. There are different options to make the booking via Kiwi Nomad for multi-city trips. This site is one of the best for last-minute bookings according to the Kiwi Flights reviews! When there is an emergency, you can make the booking on Kiwi Flights as there is always some seats available last moment.

Are There Downsides To Kiwi Flights?

While Kiwi is a good tool for booking cheap flights and making your itinerary simple, what most Kiwi flights reviews won’t tell you are the downsides of the platform that you have to note before you can start using the same. So, what are the downsides of Kiwi flights? Let’s find out – without wasting time, scroll down to find out more.

  • There’s no guarantee that the flight options you will find on Kiwi will be the cheapest.
  • If you do not pay extra, then there’s no reliable protection for your connecting flights.
  • One of the biggest drawbacks is that the flights are not cheap so, people planning on traveling on a budget will find it difficult to book!

At times, the authorities at Kiwi Flights take guarantees when booking flights. They inform customers that they will be provided connecting flights if there is an issue however, there is no guarantee of that! I personally would suggest to not rely on this guarantee considering there have been too many complaints and concerns regarding luggage lost, flight connections and other issues.

Is Kiwi Legit? The User Reviews You Needed:

So, the question that always pops up in reviews has made an appearance here as well – is kiwi.com legit? There are so many different kinds of customer reviews on Kiwi Flights that it’s honestly difficult to deduce. While the platform has a 4.3 rating on Google Play, it has only 1.5 stars on TrustPilot, and that too from more than 60K reviews.

One of the best features is that the Airlines provide services to a wide variety of places. apart from that, they also take bookings last moment however there are concerns with improper bookings. At times, customers have experienced issues with flight bookings regarding availability and change. There are, however, some hacks that people who are traveling can use so that they can travel on a budget!

A majority of concerns that customers have with Kiwi have a lot to do with different issues, such as long delays on different refund requests, improper bookings, and not always the cheapest rates. Naturally, you need to proceed with some caution while using the Kiwi platform.

Review By Damien Powell:

“I’ve used this service and app for several trips, one being a transatlantic flight. These are very good deals, but what really helps is the travel insurance that they provide. I had a delayed flight in Berlin that caused me to miss my connection in the US. They found me a flight home at no cost, it was really great during a very stressful journey.

Review By Maxim Diatchenko:

“An extremely irresponsible company. Bad communication: no phone contacts, email once a week. Very unreliable service. But they have a great website and mobile app. My story: I bought tickets months in advance. My criteria were: to fly in the evening. A couple of weeks before departure, the departure time was changed to nine and a half hours, moving it to the morning. I asked them to find me a similar flight or refund money to buy new tickets. They refused.”

Review By John Villielm:

“Absolutely ridiculous service. We booked two separate trips for the family to visit us overseas. Both trips were booked for 4 total flights, all of which were purchased as a set. Due to Covid, only 1 flight was canceled, but that started the problems. They give you two options, 1) 200euro credit (the tickets as a set were $3K and $4k), so 200euro is nowhere close to matching that. 2) a 3-month wait on a “potential” refund.”

Our Verdict: Use Kiwi Flights With Caution!

Most of the kiwi.com reviews are not great, which makes it absolutely important that you use Kiwi flights with caution. If the platform provides good service to you, then that’s great, but if they don’t, then you will be the only one losing out. So we recommend proceeding with caution while planning your trip via Kiwi.

In recent times, there have been several complaints where the flight tickets have been known to be lowest however, they have been cancelled without prior information. The refund process has also been subject to availability and change so, you need to be careful before booking flight tickets.

Feel free to share your thoughts on the same with us – and while sharing your thoughts, let us know about your experience, if you have used the platform before, in the comments below.

Play Airlines Reviews: My First Experience Shocked Me!

BY  Sibashree Aug 2, 2023

I travel often, and I know many of you do, too. Recently, I tried Play Airlines, a new budget airline popular with Gen Z.   Founded in 2019, Play Airlines follows the motto "pay less, play more." It offers flights from major East Coast cities in the US to destinations like London and Copenhagen.  Also, all these flights are hundreds of dollars less than those of other airlines. This is why it appeals to travelers looking to save money.  The airline carriers are among the best that offer ultra-low fares when traveling to Europe. So the new entrant in the market has appeared in the search results for Transatlantic flights after April 2022. The airline aims to bring visitors to Iceland and connect North America and Europe. The airline started flying in 2021 in Iceland; however, in North America, the service began in April 2022. Do you want to know more about the PLAY Airlines reviews? I will tell you about the airline, its foundation, and my experience? Keep reading!  This Is My Experience With Play Airlines! When the airline carrier was first inaugurated, Play Airlines and Baltimore Airport collaborated to create a good impression in the form of a water cannon salute when the first plane of Play Airline pulled up to the gate. Overall, the first impression was quite well made by Play Airlines. The staff is helpful and interactive. Another added advantage of a low-budget carrier airline. It is unheard of for a low-budget carrier airline to be perfect concerning its services. I would also like to discuss certain shortcomings that I identified. Do give it a go before you book tickets on Play! The flight I traveled on was spacious, clean, and memorable because I was finally traveling to Paris, one of my dream destinations. What Is Play Airlines? Play Airlines is addressed as the Ultra Low-Cost Carrier (ULCC), which is not completely uncommon. However, many carriers have additional charges based on transportation, which ULCC still needs! These airlines are perfect for passengers traveling on a budget like me! My travel plans are concrete, and I am not free to have flexible dates and timings because I have a job! I am also one of those who do not care about luxury or frills added to necessities. Therefore, I am functional when it comes to services such as Wi-Fi and entertainment charging points. Ultimately, I can adjust this much if I am traveling to a destination, especially for a vacation. Play is the successor of Wow Air, a low-cost airline carrier that ran out of service in 2019. So, if you question, is Play Airlines safe? It is. PLAY Airlines Reviews 2025: Did I like It?  So I was traveling to Paris from Boston and was charged $292 for a roundtrip. To begin with, this is quite a cheap deal that I have got on Play Airline. Another significant thing I noticed and did not expect was a comfortable seat and 34 inches of legroom. Isn't that amazing? Finding another airline that gives 34 inches of leg space might be challenging! It is quite unheard of in a budget carrier. The seats are Delta Comfort Plus, which is comfortable, and I was very relaxed throughout the flight. The chairs are tall enough for you to rest your head. As a frequent flier, half of your problems are solved if the seat is comfortable! According to my Play Airlines review, it is quite comfortable to travel with this airline. The space for the leg also helps in extending the tray table. There was no charging extension or plug-ins in the Play flights, which is usually there in transatlantic carriers and U.S. airlines. I found the crew very supportive and helpful. I had a very positive experience while interacting with the crew. No food or snack is free; however, this is one of the side effects of low-budget carriers. I did not see any food or water services throughout the flight except at the beginning and end. What I Found Beneficial? In A321neo, headrests were present in each seat with extra padding and adjustable wings. When you fly Play Airlines, you will get better seating comfort than most of the low-budget flying airlines. The setting does help in creating a more comfortable sleeping position. I also noticed that every seat had its lights and dedicated air vents. It helped me a lot because I am an avid reader, so there was no issue with my entertainment as I almost finished a book on the flight. A significant advantage I found on Play Airlines is that there was no bundling, nor was the fare made complicated concerning overall expenditure. I also found the timings of the flights to be mostly punctual. The connecting flights to Europe via Keflavik are conveniently set. Their food and drink collection is quite decent; you can order based on your requirement. There is also no connectivity, such as Wi-Fi, messaging, or entertainment. What Did I Find Negative?  I have heard that the seat arrangements are a mixed bag, such as seats with 34 inches of leg space, while some seats give you a meager 28 inches of leg space. So, as a traveler, you should search on Google Flights regarding the space of the specific flights of Play Airlines before you book tickets. Make sure to check the legroom extension to have some wiggle room. Another significant shortcoming that I noticed on the flight was that there needed to be more power. As a traveler, one thing that is essential in today's time is charging your phone, which I wasn't able to do because of no power. You will not be getting any refund; hence, in case of cancellation from your side, you will need clarification with the services. Another thing that might look like a chore to you is creating an account to view or book seats and baggage fees. The complete itinerary or any schedule based on base fare will only be accessible if you have an account on the official website, www.flyplay.com. PLAY Airlines Reviews: Why Should You Go For It?  If you're on the hunt for a budget-friendly way to travel, Play Airlines might just be the perfect fit.   I recently flew with them to Iceland, and I have to say, I was genuinely impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the experience—especially given how affordable their fares are.   I’m already looking into booking another trip to Europe with them this fall! For those of us who prefer a more laid-back travel style, Play Airlines is ideal.   They get you where you need to go without the extra costs that typically come with mainstream airlines.   On my trip to Iceland, the money I saved on airfare allowed me to explore more once I got there.   I treated myself to a bus tour along the stunning southern coast and even checked out the unique Lava Show in ReykjavĂk, all without feeling like I was stretching my budget too thin.   Honestly, flying with a low-cost airline like Play opened up more opportunities for me and truly enhanced my overall travel experience.  How To Book On Play Airlines? You have to visit their official website, but before that, search Google Flights. Accordingly, select flights and seats based on your preferences and make your payment. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)  1. Play Airlines vs Icelandair: Which one is better?  Play Airlines for the cheapest fares on a no-frills flight, but expect to pay extra for amenities like bags, food, and seat selection.  Opt for Icelandair if you prioritize comfort, want complimentary amenities such as Wi-Fi and in-flight entertainment, and are willing to pay more for the added services.   2. How Much are PLAY Airlines baggage fees?  PLAY Airlines offers a pay-as-you-go model for baggage. Every fare includes one free personal item.  However, you will need to pay for checked baggage and additional services like seat selection.  For complete details on baggage fees, visit the PLAY Airlines Terms and Conditions page.  3. Is There Food On PLAY Airlines?  Yes, you can purchase food and drinks onboard all PLAY Airlines flights from their onboard menu, but it is not complimentary  Play Airlines Reviews 2025: Should You Go For It?  My overall experience on Play Airlines was mostly positive. However, some of the shortcomings are quite significant. Having no power to charge your mobile phone devices can seriously put travelers who are traveling long distances at risk. The only solution to this problem is carrying a power bank. You must be aware of these issues before you book a flight! There are limited options to travel to Iceland if you cancel the flight you have booked, or if the authorities have delayed it.  Comment below regarding your choice of place to visit in Iceland and why! 6 Types Of Last-Minute Spring Break Trips You Can Book Today

BY  Barsha Feb 27, 2026

Spring break sneaks up on you sometimes, right? No polished itinerary in sight, just life piling on until—bam—it's practically here. I've been there, staring at the calendar thinking, “How did I let this slide?” But here's the relief: you can still snag amazing spots today, no endless waitlists or insane prices. Solo, with a partner, or kids tagging along? These picks mix fun, ease, and downtime without the hassle. And yeah, with apps updating by the minute, it's easier than ever to pivot. So, I’ve rounded up a few getaway notions that flip last-minute panic into something exciting. They're all doable now, mid-February into April, before crowds swell. Stay tuned. 6 Types Of Last-Minute Spring Break Trips You Can Book Today So without wasting time, here are some last-minute Spring breaks that you can book today. 1. Coastal Weekends On A Budget: Need a getaway you can grab without the headache? Coastal towns have your back. Places like Santa Barbara, Monterey, and Gulf Shores - they're loaded with rooms and eateries that welcome drop-ins. What do I love? That salty air hits you first, melting stress away. West Coast folks, check out quieter beaches like Pismo or Half Moon Bay; those little inns often free up spots on short notice, sometimes with ocean views thrown in. East Coast? Tybee Island in Georgia or Cape May, New Jersey. They've got that easygoing vibe and quick drives from most spots, plus lighthouses for those Instagram moments without trying too hard. So, just throw in swimsuits, snag an umbrella, and a cooler for beach picnics. Also, something sturdy, like Cordova Outdoors' ice chest cooler, holds snacks, brews, maybe even fresh catch from a market down the way. Pro move: hit a pier for cheap fishing—keeps kids busy for hours. 2. Desert Escapes For Peace And Sunshine: Craving silence and sun? Deserts deliver. Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Sedona—they're reachable, perfect for unwinding. Resorts and rentals slash prices for spur-of-the-moment bookings from mid-February through early April, especially weekdays. Midweek? You're golden—fewer people, better rates. Moreover, days filled with cactus hikes (easy ones for beginners), quirky art in the wild, or cafĂ© hangs watching the world slow down. Glamping? Yeah, lots of spots just opened calendars for folks like us who decide late—think king beds under canvas, fire pits at night. So, here's a nudge: adventurous types, grab a campervan, and hit Joshua Tree or Zion National Parks. Pre-summer means emptier roads. Also, those sunsets will stick with you, painting the sky in oranges and purples that no photo captures right. 3. Quick Nature Getaways Close To Home: No flight required for a real reset—families swear by it. Drive a few hours, find forest cabins, lake spots, mountain B&Bs to truly unplug, no big prep needed. It's the kind of trip where you bond over s'mores, not screens. California's Big Bear Lake or Lake Arrowhead nail it: kids sledding snow (if it's lingering), adults on trails with wildflowers popping, food nearby like burger joints with lake views. Pacific Northwest? Lakeside cabins by Mt. Hood or Olympic National Park—hot tubs under stars, you get the picture. Moreover, if it rains, you can play cozy board games inside. Peek at The Dyrt, Hipcamp, and Airbnb apps for instant wilderness finds. They update live, so open dates and book-now buttons pop up on your phone. Also, filter for "pet-friendly" or "hot tub" to match your crew. 4. Urban Adventures With Local Flavor: Cities recharge you, too, picked right. Last-minute urban jaunts mean culture, eats, art—minus peak-season mobs. New Orleans for jazz that grabs you (catch a free street set), Portland's coffee and markets (food carts are a must—try the Korean tacos), and Austin mixing tunes with food trucks. Kids? San Diego or Chicago pack museums, aquariums, and simple transit—think sharks swimming overhead at the Shedd. Also, you can hunt for deals on HotelTonight or Expedia's last-minute section; cancellations mean sweet room discounts, often in central spots. Additionally, attractions sell online passes too—save hassle on-site and get skip-the-line perks. 5. Cruise Or Resort Packages Available Now: Cruises, all-inclusives, all locked up months out? Nah, not really. Big lines dump cheap cabins and deals to fill ships right before sail—I've scored balcony rooms for peanuts this way. VacationsToGo and CruiseCritic let you sort by "last-minute"—sometimes up to 70% off. Moreover, for the Caribbean or Mexican Riviera from Galveston, LA, or Miami, you can do some prime checks, including short hops to turquoise waters. Also, Mexico and Dominican all-inclusives cut rates for 10-14 day bookers. Five days of endless food, beach? Tempting, isn't it—poolside margaritas included. 6. Relaxing Small-Town Stays: Flights and traffic too much? Small towns offer calm. Coastal Maine (lobster rolls fresh off the boat), NorCal wine areas (tastings without reservations), Southern historic gems—they're spring break havens. Also, antique hunts, wineries, flea markets, and bakeries that feel like the town's soul. March-April brings fairs, markets—local vibes, no frenzy. Moreover, you can chat with shop owners; they spill the best-kept secrets. You'll recharge and prop up those little businesses, keeping places alive. Feels good, doesn't it? Bon Voyage! Tips For Booking Last-Minute Spring Break Trips Successfully: Last-minute booking certainly comes with a thrill, but it can spoil your entire trip if you don’t do it right. So here are some tips to help you out! Consider using tools to search for flights and compare flexible options. For example, I use Hopper or Google Flights for last-minute trips. Moreover, while booking for any last-minute flights, always go through the refund and cancellation policies - and that too before making any payment. Always pack your essentials early. This includes travel-size toiletries, reusable bottles, medicines, and sunscreen. For example, I prefer typing out all that I need on my phone and then checking it out - it always works without fail. Keep your travel schedule open for spontaneous activities - it’s impulsive, much like your trip. Plus, you are on vacation. So, why not try it out? Finally, do double-check weather conditions, especially if you are traveling to regions prone to rain and weather fluctuations. Last-minute doesn't mean second-best—it often brews your best stories. Also, Coast lounging, desert paths, city buzz, there's freedom in just going for it. Leap now, travel light, turn this break into legend. Best trips? The unplanned ones. Bon Voyage! Flair Airlines Review: This Is How I Feel About Flair Airlines!

BY  Abdul Aziz Oct 5, 2023

For the longest time, Air Canada and WestJet have been dominating the Canadian airline industry, which has led to the prevalence of high airfare. However, with the emergence of new contenders, things are finally changing. Flair Airlines is one such competitor of the legacy airlines that have a strong hold on the Canadian Airline industry. It is a low-cost carrier that has been expanding its operations during the pandemic to include U.S. travel hotspots like Arizona, Florida, California, and Nevada, continuing to operate on an extensive Canadian route network that covers most major cities in the country. Here is my brief take on the Flair Airlines experience I had. Keep reading because this is going to be very useful. My Experience Of Flair Airlines Image Source: assets.bwbx.io Here is a first-hand experience or a Flair Airlines review of the recent travel I had flying from Toronto to Montreal. Read on to know if it was worth it. Booking Image Source: thepointsguy.global.ssl.fastly.net I booked my flight on Google Flights, searching for the cheapest flight from Toronto to Montreal. On my date of flight, both Flair and Air Canada had early morning flights, and yet Flair was priced at half of the Air Canada ticket. There was, of course, the added benefit of a full-size carry-on bag but even on a standard fee, Air Canada would be charging for seat selection. Flair is a solid selection if you are traveling light, even if it includes seat selection. The Flair Airlines baggage policy is a little icky if you are traveling heavy instead. A one-way flight on December 15 via Flair costs 40. Whereas WestJet’s and Air Canada’s cheapest flights are $135. I had to pay a minimum of $7.90 for seat selection. Check-in Image Source: thepointsguy.global.ssl.fastly.net It was a simple experience checking in at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. All of Flair’s Toronto flights depart from Terminal 3, so that is where I did my check-in. Flair has a few baggage drops and check-in counters located in the center of the terminal. Ground Experience Image Source: thepointsguy.global.ssl.fastly.net My flight was supposed to depart from Gate B38. I cleared my security in under 10 minutes. The airport was mostly empty, given the wee hours we were departing (7:30 a.m.) There were some shops open despite the timings, so I got a coffee and yogurt from Starbucks and sat away from the crowd for some uninterrupted breakfast. Flair does not have its own lounges. Cabins And Seats Image Source: thepointsguy.global.ssl.fastly.net The flight was one of Flair’s three 737-800 (read tiny) aircraft. The airline operates with economy-only cabins suited for its ultra-low-cost carrier. The interiors were nondescript and spotless. It is simply designed without any frills like over or seatback displays. The flight was made with the intention of taking a passenger from point A to point B. The seats were comfy enough at the cost I paid. They did not recline, but they were not as slim as other similar carriers in the U.S. The extra padding on the seats helped ease the other small space. The leg room was commendably larger than its other similarly ranged carriers. It also had a full-size tray that could easily fit a 16-inch Macbook Pro. Spirit Airlines offers only a small drink tray. Flair Airlines Amenities Image Source: thepointsguy.global.ssl.fastly.net There are no inflight amenities or entertainment. There is no wifi, streaming services, or outlets on the 737-800. Keeping that in mind, have your devices on a full charge and make sure to get a window seat to keep yourself entertained for these otherwise short flights. The food and beverage services could get you to pay $2.75 for a soda and $5.50 for a Molson beer. A coffee would cost $2.35. All that after currency conversion. My Verdict Image Source: runwaygirlnetwork.com I did not have much qualms about flying with Flair. It was a regular journey from one place to another. The airline’s internet service is also set to launch soon so that too can be an attraction for travelers. Flair’s rapid expansion is on its way to breaking through the expensive air carrier industry with its budget-friendly approach. Flair Airlines Tripadvisor Reviews Image Source: media.flyflair.com I told you what I felt from my experience. But if you want to know what others are saying about Flair Airlines, here are some of the Flair Airlines reviews left by real flyers on Tripadvisor. In case you are asking yourself, “Is Flair Airlines good” or “Is Flair Airlines safe,” here are all your answers: "My mom and I traveled to edmonton in the beginning of July to a convention, it was my first time on plane and was understandably nervous. The folks when I arrived at the gate was friendly and welcomed us! Everything was on time and found our seats okay, we will definitely upgrade next time but being it was only an hour 1/2 flight it was fine. If you are flying and bringing more than 1 bag and carry on, one thing I recommend to save $ is to purchase a package online and pre book. It's the one thing I wish I knew before hand. Otherwise baggage is pricey. Coming back from Edmonton it was a great experience too! Given the option I will choose Flair again to travel within Canada. Prices are good and the staff are very friendly. Even better, our flights to and from were 10 minutes early. So bonus!" Ashley P "After reading some questionable reviews about Flair i was convinced i was not going to have a good experience. I am blown away by the level of kindness and overall attentiveness of the flight attendants, along with the customer service i had received over the phone. Had bought our seats prior to both flights and we had no problems with keeping those seats unlike some other airlines that tend to mess that up every time. I highly recommend this airline to everyone and will gladly be returning!" Stefanie b "I am tired of people complaining in this industry. Covid changed many things, but I am grateful to travel again. We took a family trip out to Vancouver Island with Flair. Captain Tyler McDermot was wonderful and after the flight, I was invited for a picture with him. The crew were wonderful, check in was quick and our flight on time. Great job Flair!!!" Gail G "Booked online and purchased carryon only. Checked in online to avoid paying checkin fee at airport. Downloaded movies and brought my own snacks. People need to realize that Flair base prices only include your seat. Their website clearly states all extra costs. It would be great if Flair continues their Windsor to BC route throughout the whole year. I booked taking a chance, after reading all of the negative reviews about cancelling, I guess I was one of the lucky ones. It's nice to have a direct flight to BC from Windsor and avoid paying three times more, with other airlines and having connections, at either Pearson or Metro.” monicahumenny Wrapping Up Have you taken a Flair flight recently? How was your experience? Do you like how budget-friendly it is? Or do you feel like they could add something more to their services?
