Living In Sunny Spain As Digital Nomads

BY  Abdul Aziz Apr 30, 2021

Spain is one of the most popular destinations in the world, whether you're traveling for leisure purposes or planning a business trip there, this country never fails to strike awe in everyone. Especially to digital nomads, Spain truly is the clear destination to work in. Others choose this beautiful country to settle in — who wouldn't want to live in Spain? There are certain reasons why remote workers love living in Spain. If you are one and you’re still looking for a place to rent, here is a guide you can go to for long-term rentals in Spain. Now as far as the new normal life’s concern, in the life that we live in today, there certainly are people who prefer to bring their laptops to the park or to coffee shops to continue their work there. Sure, some find their solace in their chosen sport and they get more inspired working — gaining energy from the ambiance of the place. But with the Covid-19 still lurking around the world, and the pandemic still affects our lives, many jobs have switched from office-based to work from the home set-up. That being said, many choose to base themselves somewhere else to help them to get even more productive. For freelancers or digital nomads, searching for a safer and stunning location is their priority. A country like Spain offers a spectacular lifestyle and gives that satisfaction to remote workers who constantly search for a better place to work in. Now before we get into details about why Spain is the excellent destination for digital nomads, how do we exactly define them? What is a digital nomad? A digital nomad is a person who is location-independent and uses smartphones or laptops to complete their job. It’s a vast definition and there are many kinds of digital nomads such as freelancers, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and more. They often work in coffee shops, co-working spaces, or public libraries, somewhere where they’re most comfortable. Why Spain? There are certain things that digital nomads need to complete their work. Spain’s work culture and its community guarantee a fun environment and the safety of the people. As a nomad, you’ll never get bored in this country as its city offers beautiful infrastructures and scrumptious food. Also, the natives there love to host strangers and have visitors. The love for drinking wine with guests while eating a delicious authentic meal, exchanging waves of laughter, and enjoying life in a way that nomads can’t in other cultures. And other reasons are: Internet: A successful digital nomad needs to have access to a high-quality and consistent internet connection — it is indeed one of the biggest factors to have when assessing a destination. As a remote worker, work and income are attached to the internet and the ability to consistently connect at high speed can make an impact difference. Imagine working without any problems with troubleshooting or chasing deadlines. You don’t have to worry about losing your internet at all, which means when it comes to employee performance evaluation, if you are to be a part of this, you will have only positive responses! A smooth-sailing work is what a digital nomad truly needs. Cost of Living: As a digital nomad, a reasonable cost of living is also a key factor when assessing a location to live in. Nomads can live comfortably in Spain under a certain budget. With many fair rates of rentals, food not being a problem, this can be a blessing as the exchange rate and cost of living in Spain aren't that high. Weather: Spain’s enviable sunny weather is absolutely perfect for digital nomads who dream to feel and experience it. Summer in Spain remains the most popular time to go. A mostly sunny year means more opportunities to explore every corner in Spain, every tourist attraction, and extraordinary cafes. 10 Tips for Traveling Across Europe

BY  Abdul Aziz Feb 20, 2021

Europe is a jewel of a continent. From the west to the east, no country is the same as the last, with each nation having its own unique customs, architecture, and must-see attractions. Traveling across Europe is fairly easy thanks to the fact the vast majority of it is landlocked, meaning it’s common for people to travel across the continent on an extended break rather than simply visiting one country and then coming back to visit another the following year. Whilst traveling from country to the country might seem effortless, there are a number of things you need to be aware of. When traveling to somewhere in Europe such as Ireland, make sure to book a reputable airport transfer company in advance. If you’re thinking of traveling across Europe, make sure you keep these 10 tips in mind before your trip commences. 1. Currency Changes: Time zone changes are a given, but currency changes aren’t. You’d be forgiven for thinking that most European countries use the Euro, but they don’t. Not every country on the continent of Europe is in the EU (such as the UK, Norway, and Turkey). Regardless of whether a country is the European Union, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to use the Euro. Such countries include: Bulgaria Croatia Czech Republic Denmark Hungary Poland Romania Sweden It’s always worth keeping Euro with you as some countries that don’t normally use the Euro will accept it as a form of payment, but you should be mindful of the currency of the countries you’re going to be visiting and make a note of the exchange rates. For instance, if you are visiting Romania for business purposes or are willing to start a business in Romania, you should be aware of the currency factors. Also, it's better to understand what form of registration is more applicable in that geographic area. As far as Romania businessmen are concerned, they always go for the PFA registration process instead of SA or SRL. Why? PFA is simple and low-cost! 2. Opening Hours (Siestas) Depending on where you’re from and where you’re going, you’ll likely encounter different opening hours to what you’re used to. This mainly applies to hot countries like Spain where it’s traditional for the locals to take a siesta during the hottest part of the day. This results in many businesses closing at noon for two hours. In tourist hotspots and resort areas, this might not be the case as businesses attempt to maximize profits, but in hidden gem areas that are off the beaten track, it’s more likely that this long-term tradition will be adhered to. So, you need to make sure you’re aware of closing times and societal opening hours before you’re caught short and in need of urgent supplies but can’t get any. 3. Temperature Changes: Europe is a very varied continent that spans over 1,339 miles from the east to the west and 2,076 miles from north to south. Whilst it’s one of the smallest continents on Earth, it encompasses sub-arctic and desert landscapes all in one. If you’re planning on traveling from the west to the east, or the north to the south, you’re likely to experience all of these temperatures during your trip, so you need to pack accordingly. Whilst you might be okay wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals in Rome, you will most definitely want sturdy boots, wooly mittens, and a big parka coat by the time you get to Russia. The last thing you want is to freeze (or melt) and have to spend a fortune on a new wardrobe for every country you visit. 4. Pack Light: We’ve just said to pack for every eventuality, but in the same breath, pack light. Europe is full of narrow streets, winding roads, and dainty amenities, and that can make lugging two 20kg suitcases extremely difficult. You’re more than likely going to be taking several types of transport and constantly be moving from place to place, so the last thing you want is to pack up your entire life every other week and drag it along some impractically small cobbled streets. Instead, take two of everything, with enough fresh underwear to last a week. That means two jumpers, two pairs of jeans, two skirts/shorts, two dresses, etc. There will be plenty of launderettes around to wash your clothes for you, and whilst going to the launderette every week might not sound too pleasant, neither does dragging your whole wardrobe down the winding, single file, cobbled streets of Greece. 5. Travel By Ground: Europe is – mostly – a landlocked mass (with the exception of some islands and parts of Scandinavia). Europeans also rely heavily on trains to get to and from places, and this means the countries are typically well connected by railway lines. If you’re planning to travel across Europe, do so by train as much as you can. It’s cheap, it’s fast and it gives you the chance to take in much more of the natural beauty the continent is home to. If you’re going to be traveling to islands like the UK and those in the Mediterranean, ferries are an option that is still often cheaper than flying. When it comes to getting to hard-to-reach locations, taxis are your friend. Whether you opt for Uber or an independent company like Place2Place, taxis are rife in Europe and easy enough to hail down. Once you get to your destination, you may wish to rent a car with the help of a site like StressFreeCarRental to give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace and go exactly where it is you would like to. 6. Comfortable Shoes: As mentioned, Europe is home to many narrow streets, cobbled roads, and elevated inclinations. There’s a LOT of walking to be done, so make sure you pack a comfy pair of trainers or flats because this is one continent where – no matter where you are – you won’t be able to appreciate it in a pair of heels. 7. Reservations: Most of Europe is flooded by tourists at any given time of the year which results in almost every restaurant being rammed almost all of the time. If you’re a spontaneous diner, you’ll need to change your ways – and fast. Europeans work on a basis of reservations. You might even need to reserve a seat in a bar because it gets so busy! Make sure to call up a day in advance to book your place, otherwise, you’ll find yourself eating a McDonald’s instead of a traditional local delicacy, and that would be a complete waste of a trip. 8. Tap Water: Depending on where you go, tap water in Europe varies, so it’s best to stay away from it. Bottled water is incredibly destructive to the environment, but tap water in Europe could be incredibly destructive to your digestive system, so it’s all about weighing up the risks. By this, we mean the number of minerals in the water can change drastically which could cause nausea or diarrhea. It’s important to remember the tap water in Europe is perfectly safe to drink and is strictly monitored, but it can vary from place to place which means your stomach could get a little upset by it. This is something to keep in mind. 9. Food Tourist Traps: Earlier we mentioned making reservations, but it’s also important to note to avoid food tourist traps. Major attractions will be dotted with eateries and coffee shops, and whilst they’re practical, they’re also double the price and half the quality of other local places. Venture just a bit further out and you’ll find some beautiful places full of local delicacies that are much better prepared and much more reasonably priced. 10. Flight Compensation (EC 261): In the event you do travel by air across Europe, the good news is, you’re covered by EC 261 which is a flight compensation scheme. If your flight is delayed by three hours or more, is canceled or if you’re denied boarding, you’re entitled to compensation and the airline must provide accommodation where necessary. This applies to all flights taking off or landing in European countries, regardless of if the airline does not belong to an EU member state. This is a nice little bit of protection should things take a turn for the worst. If you are looking for great day tour options, then booking someone like Collins Day Tours is a great idea. These are just 10 tips for traveling across Europe, but the biggest tip of all is to HAVE FUN! Pripyat Visit Or The Soviet Union Through Our Eyes

BY  Abdul Aziz Oct 3, 2020

Have you ever wondered what destruction happens to a city or region post a nuclear radiation accident? Are you aware of the Chernobyl Plant and Pripyat city, the site of the nuclear accident situated in the erstwhile USSR? Did you know that there are countless documentaries and movies been made about the Chernobyl disaster? There are countless stories and myths, which abound about Chernobyl. While some say that it was just an accident at a nuclear plant, others point to a warring country being responsible for executing the same. The nuclear accident at Chernobyl happened in the erstwhile USSR era. This was roughly around the same time when the Cold War was raging between Communist USSR and the Western Capitalist world. The stories, myths, controversies have made Chernobyl somewhat of an urban legend. Chernobyl has become so famous that it has been featured in a Netflix series. It has also started attracting audiences and tourists from all over the world, who want to see one of the most significant remnants of our modern history. An Introduction to Pripyat, the city surrounding Chernobyl Visiting Pripyat today we could only imagine that it was a city of opportunity, where almost every resident had a prestigious job and a promising future. This city is located on the Pripyat River, 3 kilometers from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, has been prosperous and advanced since its foundation. Until April 26, 1986, when the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant forced more than 300 thousand people to leave their homes due to the threat of radiation. This is how the exclusion zone appeared – an area of 2,600 square kilometers, free of people. Before the Chernobyl incident, Pripyat was one of the most economically developed and bustling cities of the USSR. The trade, commerce, and lifestyle of the people were as good as it could get under a Communist regime. Culturally, Pripyat embodied the best of the USSR. The Chernobyl accident was a major turning point in the fortunes of the city and its inhabitants. The Problems faced by Inhabitants of Pripyat after the Chernobyl Accident Many inhabitants were forced to shift to government camps and medical facilities. They were monitored for radiation and many also faced isolation and therapy. Even after the nuclear winter ended, traces of radiation were found in water, soil, etc. The government could not ever settle inhabitants in the city. Many were forced to migrate thousands of miles to different regions, often starting from scratch. The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant changed hundreds of thousands of destinies, caused enormous economic damage, and a crushing blow to the nuclear industry. In the shortest possible time, the whole city was to be empty, people were not allowed to take anything except documents. Visiting Pripyat now, we can see how much pain it was for people to leave in a hurry all their property acquired over the years. As Pripyat was a bustling center of trade and commerce, you can still see so many markets, big complexes, theatres, and auditoriums. Many historians have stated that Pripyat was as rich and powerful as Moscow was. However, after the accident, there was just chaos and destruction as far as the eye could see. How Chernobyl looks like today? Here is what you can expect if you visit Chernobyl today Visiting Chernobyltoday is like returning to the distant Soviet Union. Here you can still see elements of communist propaganda, personal belongings scattered on the streets, and abandoned buildings. The hammer and sickle adorn the lanterns on the eve of the May holidays, which were not destined to take place. Toys are scattered across the schoolyard, abandoned by children in the confusion. The clock in the city shows 11:55 – the time of the power outage. Visiting Chernobyl safe is possible with the help of the professional guides, who know all the impressive but at the same time safe places of the abandoned city. Chernobyl visit is available in several options: One-day tour (Includes 27 top locations, lasts for 11 hours including comfortable bus. The price is from 35 euro per person) Two-day tour (Includes 57 top locations, lasts for 36 hours including top comfortable bus. The price is from 95 euro per person) Private tour (No restrictions on the number of locations, no limitation on hours – one, two, or even five days in Chernobyl) Present-day Chernobyl: What is happening? Whatever tour you choose Chernobyl visit will give you an opportunity to see how nature conquers human error. Pripyat turns into a forest. Houses begin to collapse, asphalt turns into moss, houses grow into trees, wide avenues disappear. Visiting Pripyat, it will be interesting to see: Shelter "Sarcophagus". It covers the destroyed Unit 4 to protect the environment from continued exposure to radiation. The Exclusion Zone. Excursions along this area are conducted with visits to local "attractions", museums, and communication with self-settlers. Amusement Park. The official opening of the amusement park was planned for May 1, 1986. Red Forest. It has absorbed a huge dose of radioactive dust. Most of the trees died, and the survivors took on a rusty hue. The Bridge of Death. The townspeople came here to see the burning reactor, not knowing that the radiation level here was one of the highest in the city. Over the past decade, hundreds of thousands of tourists made a visit to Chernobyl and Pripyat. But, believe me, the emotions that you feel when you find yourself in this city cannot be compared with anything. The Final Word If you are someone who is fascinated by Cold War history or seeing the height of Communist Power in the USSR, you will love Chernobyl. Even though the city and the region lie in ruins, there is a quaint romance about the place. Describing how you would feel after visiting Chernobyl is something that even the best travel writers cannot do. Part of the reason is that Chernobyl and Pripyat remain one of those rare places on Earth, which can still give you goosebumps. You have a city, without inhabitants, you have markets without shoppers, and you have buildings without owners. With cultural heritage, amazing architecture, and a spirited atmosphere, it never lacked the prospect of being a tourism hotspot.  In fact, Statista's report suggests that Barcelona has been among the top ten European destinations to “have the highest number of overnights” in 2022. So, your European tour must include Barcelona for the most fulfilling experience.  Let’s set the itinerary for your trip right!  1. Exploring Barri Gotic : The breadth and concentration of the Barri Gotic hold a candle like no other place in the world. It is the oldest section of the city in which the labyrinthine streets empty into medieval places. It has some of the best shopping places in the city.  You can find some handmade espadrilles and affordable souvenirs, as well as cherries from some of the shops. The stock-to-ceiling stacks are marvelous, making it worth your visit. The Gothic and old charm of Barri Gotic is hard to ignore, and the place where Barri Gotic is today is, in fact, the place where the history of Barcelona began. With the cathedral La Seu at the heart, the winding alleys of the old city today tell the tales of Roman dominion here for 500 years. Further, the city came under the spotlight after the Olympics in 1992.  2. Visiting El Palau de la Musica Catalana : Gaudi is the most detectable face of Catalan Moderniste, but most of his contemporaries also left a mark on Barcelona. Lluís Domenech Monster was one of them, and this was a Barcelona architect who was behind the construction of the Palace of Catalan Music in 1908.  It is a chosen UNESCO site for world heritage. The interior of this auditorium bursts with texture, pattern, and color. It culminates in the skylight during the day, and the performance will occur without switching on even a single light.  “Palau de la Música Catalana and Hospital de Sant Pau are two of the finest contributions to Barcelona’s architecture by the Catalan Modernista architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The Palau de la Música Catalana is an exuberant steel-framed structure full of light and space, decorated by the leading artists of the period. It has uniqueness, authenticity, and beauty and is an unparalleled Modernista example of a public concert hall whose symbolic, artistic, and historical value is universal.”UNESCO World Heritage Convention Opera, orchestral, and choral music reign in this place and also features mainstream artists like Pace de Lucia, Norah Jones, and Fitzgerald. 3. Paying A Visit To Fundacio Joan Miro : https://www.instagram.com/p/CpYPwSeo4BW/?img_index=1 This hill rises behind the city center, and a Catalan artist founded it in 1968. His primary intention was to make his artwork more accessible to the general public. Currently, over 10,000 masterpieces that he has made are on display, from the early surrealist paintings to the later works that Dada inspired.  Make sure you don’t miss the Man and Woman that is in front of the excrement pile, even if you are in for only 30 minutes. 4. Exploring La Boqueria : This gastronomic mecca attracts over 45,000 visitors daily. La Boqueria is one of the most popular food markets globally for all the good reasons. The Food & Wine Magazine has called La Boqueria the best market in the world this year.  It has a list of endless stalls that lure buyers with plentiful displays of the finest seafood, charcuterie, cheeses, and produce that the region has to produce.  With time, some of the vendors have adapted to the demands of tourists, but you can still taste the original foods of Barcelona in this region.  Some of the delicacies like Calamarcets amb Mongetes and Citrons amb botifarra negre have been in existence for more than half a century. This should not be missed on your list of things to do in Barcelona. 5. Visiting The National Museum of Catalan Art : You can be sure that there are so many Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces in this place. It is home to one of the most famous portraits of Diego Velazquez, San Pablo.  The scope of the Romanesque of this museum is what sets it apart. It is one of the most exhaustive in the whole world. You will be sure to seek out the biblical title of Apse of Saint Clement de Taull, which is the crown jewel of the collection. The national museum is one of the best things to visit in Barcelona. 6. Visiting Santa Maria Del Mar : Visiting the Santa Maria Del Mar is one of the things to do in Barcelona, Spain, that makes your trip complete. You will gain some perspective on its antiquity and the resilient nature of the architectonic tradition of Barcelona.   You will realize that each border that was used in the construction of this church was hauled one at a time from the surrounding shoreline and mountainsides by ordinary civilians. This project was completed in 1383, 54 years after laying the first stone.  The citizens marveled at the end product, which was a soaring Gothic temple that was accented with the use of vivid stained glass panels. The temple is buttressed with sparse, illuminated with natural light, and improbably slender columns.  Most of the original structures of Barcelona remain intact to date, even though there are some interior damages that came out of the 11-day fire of the 1936 Spanish Civil War. 7. Spending Some Time At La Sagrada Familia  La Sagrada Familia is an architectural feat in Barcelona that has been and continues to be controversial. Scholars have continued to debate whether the engineers strayed so much from the original vision of architect Antoni Gaudi.  This is the biggest achievement of the Catalan building even though other residents view this resident to be an expensive, glaring parody. There is no way you will fail to get caught up with the magical appearance of this place once you put academic bickering aside. It has been under construction for the last 150 years and is pending completion in 2026. It is the tallest religious building in Europe and, hence, one of the best things to see in Barcelona. Long queues characterize the place, and hence, it’s advisable to buy your tickets in advance. 8. Strolling Through Las Ramblas : One of the top things to do in Barcelona is strolling through Las Ramblas. It is a broad, shady boulevard running via the city heart right away from Place de Catalunya to Port Vell.  It’s good for taking street performances, ambling down trees, or watching people from the terrace. You will not have any dull moments while at this place. You can also have a bird’s eye view of the city and sea at the 18th-story Columbus Monument. 9. Spending Some Time At Park Guell : This is the hugest triumph in the planning of the urban center and displays the sculptor in the most organic manner. The structures (walkways, pillars, fountains, houses) or these architectural parks are some of the best places to visit in Barcelona.  The columns of this structure shoot up like trunks of trees, its arches jam like openings of a cave, and giant lizards guard the fountains with scales that are fashioned out of mosaic tiles.  As you follow the steep while leaving this monumental area on the uphill path, you will find sweeping views that motivate you. This park only allows 400 visitors per hour. So it's advisable to book in advance. 10. Visiting The Magical Museum Picasso : https://www.instagram.com/p/DAshrO-IITI/?img_index=1 Picasso may have been from Malaga in southern Spain, but he chose Barcelona. He apprenticed as a young artist in this city.  The museum houses 4251 early works of Picasso, like engraving, painting, and sculpture, and these are some of the best things to see in Barcelona. There are so many things to do in Barcelona, and you cannot finish all of them. Do thorough research and choose what interests you so as to get the most from your trip to the area. The most important thing is to make sure that you get value from your trip to Barcelona. What Is The Best Time To Visit Barcelona?  The best time to try the top things to do In Barcelona is September to November. I know this is not a popular opinion. But trust me! The number of tourist is very less to Barcelona during this season. So, there are better chances of exploring the hand-picked destinations and outdoor pursuits. However, if you want to enjoy the best weather and festivals in Barcelona, March to June will be the ideal season. Top 10 Most Popular Paraguay Food That You Must Try

BY  Abdul Aziz May 1, 2024

Many of the countries in South America are popular for their exquisite and varied cuisine. However, the practices of Paraguay food are not known to many. The Paraguayan Cuisine has been influenced by the local indigenous tribe’s culinary traditions and practices brought by immigrants from Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Being a foodie myself, I love traveling around the world to have a taste of every new variety of food that the world has to offer. Visiting remote areas, meeting with new people, and trying out their traditional dishes is what I have always loved! I was also in your shoes when I first landed in Paraguay, a bit startled and confused. Although, as I began to explore, my first meal at a fancy restaurant in Asuncion changed my entire perception of the state.  Tid-Bits About Paraguay Food Classic Paraguay food includes some of the most exclusive dishes that are bound to beat any of the Peruvian or Argentine preparations. Traditional culinary elements in Paraguay food recipes consist of meat, maize, vegetables, manioc, cheese, fish, milk, and even fruits.  ‘Asado’ is a local term used for barbecue, which is referred to as both a cooking practice and a social event. In Paraguay, barbecuing is the most important mode of cooking their traditional Paraguayan food dishes.  Here in this article, I will elucidate the best dishes and popular foods in Paraguay that you must try in Paraguay this year. The Paraguay famous foods excite your taste buds and have an experience like never before.  1. Kivevé You will be stuck in a dilemma whether to count this as a main course or a dessert. Kieve is the most popular and loved Paraguay food. It is a vegetarian dish that is cooked out of andai (a type of juicy pumpkin), cornmeal, Paraguayan cheese, milk, and sugar. Kieve is a typical food in Paraguay. It has a very creamy and light texture and is orangish in color. This rich-flavored delicacy is served lukewarm and is often consumed as a side dish or even main meal, at breakfasts, and as an evening snack. 2. Chipa Considered a staple Paraguay food, Chipa is a simple bread roll that was invented by the local indigenous people in the 18th century. It is a bun that is made out of manioc or cassava flour, lard, and anise, and beaten eggs and cheese. There are different versions of Chipa available, varying over the regional influences. The bread has a very crunchy crust due to the addition of lard. The crumb is soft and has a unique flavor. It is prepared and consumed by every household in the state.  3. Bori Bori Bori-Bori (Vori-Vori) is a nutritious and flavorful thick soup that is prepared out of vegetables such as carrots, celery, onions. It is filled with meat (chicken or beef) and dumplings of cornmeal plus cheese. The prime flavoring ingredients in this soup are bay leaves, cloves, and parsley. The addition of saffron to this hearty broth makes it even more flavorful and rich golden in color. It must be served piping hot, garnished with some parsley and Paraguayan cheese on the side. It is especially popular during the winters.  4. Sopa Paraguaya This specialty is not what it sounds like. Even though SOPA translates to soup in the local language, it is not at all in the vicinity of any soupy preparations. It is the national dish of Paraguay, which resembles a cakey thick bread.  It is crafted out of cornflour, cheese, milk, and eggs. The flavor is inculcated through the use of onions and pork fat. It is usually baked and is often termed solid soup. It has a soft and crumbly texture and is served on special occasions as a side dish.  5. Mbeju Mbeju, when translated to the local Guarani language, means cake. It is a very simple and staple Paraguay food. It is a kind of starchy pancake that is prepared with cassava flour, salt, oil, milk, eggs, crumbled cheese, and even pork fat.  The dough is kneaded well and rolled out thickly like a pancake. It is then fried in hot oil. It is usually consumed during breakfast, sometimes dinner, alongside a bitter herbal tea or coffee.  6. Soyo This is another popular Paraguay food, which is a thick unpassed soup. It is made with beef grounded in a mortar, rice, and vegetables, including green peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Soyo is another good example of Paraguay’s famous food.  The dish is flavored with garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. The name is derived from the native Guarani phrase so’o josopy, meaning crushed meat. A whole bowl of soyo can be considered as a complete meal and has a high calorific value.
