India’s latest new airline, on flights Akasa Air, began its operation in August of this year. And will be onboarding our furry little friends in November. The CEO and co-founder of the airline, Belson Coutinho, spoke to reporters about this. He said, “Domesticated dogs and cats can travel from November, and the bookings in this regard will start from October 15.”

But the catch is animals weighing less than seven kg are allowed in the cabin. So heavier dogs will be traveling in the cargo area.

Specific conditions need to be updated while traveling with pets on a plane, as said by Dr. Sanjiv Rajadhyaksha. Certain points need checking, and as he mentioned, they are.

  • You must check your pet with the vet to ensure they are fit for air travel.
  • The airline must maintain proper air pressure in the cabin and the cargo compartment with adequate oxygen and temperature for the pets.
  • If the pets are to be kept in the cargo area, ensure the crates are big and have enough space to move around.
  • Ensure your pet is properly vaccinated and sedated if traveling with you in the cabin.
  • Avoid bringing pets prone to lung or heart disease. They might not feel well during the flight.

Journey to Joy: Unlock Your Road Trip Potential with These Tips

BY  Barsha Nov 28, 2023

Are you ready for an adventure? Imagine yourself cruising along the open road with the windows down and your favorite tunes blasting. The thrill of a road trip is unmatched - the freedom, the endless possibilities, and most importantly, the joy that comes along with it. But preparing for a road trip can be overwhelming, especially if it's your first time. To what location do you typically travel? What items or belongings do you typically carry with you? Here are some ideas to make your road trip worthwhile. 6 Ideas For A Memorable Road Trip Like any other trip, planning is key to a successful road trip. Tips to maximize your trip: 1. Pick The Appropriate Car For Your Needs The car you select for a road trip can have a powerful impact on how enjoyable it is overall. A campervan is always best for a road trip, especially for long journeys. Travellers Autobarn offers a variety of campervans that are perfect for solo or group travels. With their flexible and affordable rental packages, you can definitely find the right vehicle to suit your needs. For instance, if you want to see the beauty of San Francisco, California, you can select from a wide range of campervans and tailor your package according to the duration of your trip. 2. Pick An Exciting Destination To Explore Picking a destination that excites you is crucial to ensure your road trip is full of joy and adventure. Whether it's a national park, a beach town, or a bustling city - choose a place that intrigues you and has activities that you enjoy. In addition, make sure to research the area beforehand so you know what to expect and have a rough itinerary in mind. Plus, don't be afraid to take spontaneous detours or make unplanned stops along the way - that's what makes a road trip so exciting. 3. Prepare A Road Trip Playlist To Set The Mood Preparing a road trip playlist is essential to set the mood for your journey. Include songs that you associate with happy memories or ones that make you feel energized and ready to take on the world. Also, don't forget to add some sing-alongs and guilty pleasure tracks - after all, it's just you and the open road. Plus, it can be a great bonding experience if you're traveling with friends or family. This can give you all the more reason to sing at the top of your lungs and make unforgettable memories. 4. Carry What You Only Need And Allow For Exceptions Carrying only the essentials is key to having a hassle-free road trip. Pack light and take only what you need, such as clothes, toiletries, first aid kit, and any other important items specific to your trip. Remember - the more space you have in your vehicle, the more room for activities and souvenirs. However, don't be afraid to allow for exceptions if you come across something that sparks your interest. Whether it's a unique souvenir or an activity you didn't plan for, sometimes spontaneity can add even more joy to your trip. Just make sure not to over-pack and weigh down your vehicle. 5. Bring Along Some Entertainment For The Ride Bringing something to entertain yourself during long stretches of driving can make the journey more enjoyable. This could be a book, a portable game console, or even some podcasts to listen to. It's always good to have options in case you get tired of looking out the window. But don't forget to take breaks and stretch your legs, too - this is important for your safety and well-being on the road. Plan for stops at scenic rest areas or roadside appeals to break up the monotony of driving. 6. Capture Memories With Photos And Keepsakes Last but not least, don't forget to capture memories of your road trip. Take photos of the stunning scenery, the fun moments with your travel companions, and even some silly selfies along the way. You can also collect keepsakes from your trip to bring back home. These trinkets will help you remember the wonderful trip you took, and they might even make you want to plan more trips like that in the future. Final Words These are our top tips to make your road trip a joyful journey full of adventure and memories. Remember, a road trip is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. So, pack smart, prepare well, select a rocking playlist, and hit the road with an open mind, ready to explore. Don't forget to capture the happy moments and keep a piece of the journey with you in the form of keepsakes. So consider the above information and get ready to embark on the road trip of a lifetime! Kids Traveling with Laptops: Tips You’ll Want to Know | Traveling With Kids | Travel Guide For Parents

BY  Abdul Aziz Jun 30, 2022

Are you busy packing for a family holiday and want to be sure you pack all the necessary items? For many families, a laptop for the kids is classified as a necessity as it helps to keep them entertained and happy during travel. Kids traveling with laptops can use their gadgets in the evening when they are back in the hotel after the end of a tiring day. Also, they can use their laptops to document their travel experience and pen down adorable notes. Further, when your kids are on an excursion, carrying their laptops may be something mandatory.  So, carrying a laptop while traveling can be a matter of choice or necessity for them. However, as a parent, you need to ensure that the laptop will remain safe and that your little one will be able to use it properly and timely. At Tour and Travel, we have curated some essential tips. Kids Traveling With Laptops: These Are The Things You Will Keep In Mind  From getting a good carrying case for your laptop to downloading all the apps and games; it’s a lot of work with kids traveling with laptops. Here are some quick tips that we have found out. We have considered the opinions of travel experts arranging kids’ tours and 15 parents with children aged between 6-13.  So, let’s discuss the practical tips you can follow.  1. Invest In a Good Quality Carrying Case Perhaps the most important piece of advice is to invest in a good quality carrying case. It needs to be secure in that the laptop won’t slide around or move inside the case. It should be water-resistant or waterproof, and you need to ensure it has padding in case of a drop. It also needs to be streamlined so that it’s easy to carry and pack. 2. Pack the Laptop in Your Carry-On Speaking of packing the laptop, it’s always best to place it in your carry-on luggage. This means the kids have easy access to it throughout the journey, and you aren’t worried about what would happen should your checked luggage get lost. 3. Download All Games and Apps Before the Holiday Begins To ensure kids are thoroughly entertained and occupied it’s a good idea to download all games, apps, and movies before the holiday begins. If you have young children, this is something you’ll likely need to help them with. Doing this in advance means you won’t have to deal with it in the car, at the airport, on a train, or in a hotel room that may or may not have Wi-Fi. 4. Consider Also Packing an External Keyboard Depending on the age of your kids and the games, tasks, entertainment, and activities they’ll be using the laptop for, you may also want to pack an external keyboard. Having a keyboard rather than relying on the laptop’s touchscreen or built-in keyboard tends to be more intuitive and user-friendly. Laptop keyboards are notoriously small and aren’t always the most comfortable with prolonged use. These Lenovo keyboards for kids can be used with a variety of devices. Just be sure that whatever keyboard you choose, it’s compatible with the laptop they have and takes up little room in the suitcase. 5. Don’t Forget the Charging Cord One of the biggest mistakes you could make is to forget the charging cord. This would mean you either need to find a new charging cord when you arrive at your destination, or the laptop is rendered useless after the initial charge dies. 6. Do You Need a Travel Power Adapter? The final tip is to do some research online so you know which destinations will require a power adapter in order to plug electronics, such as the charge cord, into the electrical outlets. Using all of these tips helps to ensure that traveling is smooth and carefree with your child’s laptop, which means everyone is happy. 7. Are Your Kids Traveling With Laptops? Don’t Forget A Data Backup  You have to arrange for an automatic data backup setup with your kids traveling with laptops. Before that, you can take a backup of the data already stored in an external hard drive.  This is crucial so that you don’t end up losing any important documents stored on the device. In fact, your little one may have something important related to their studies or travel documents on the laptop. So, a backup is mandatory.  In addition, if you are a hands-on parent like me, you need to set up parental control when your kids are traveling with their laptops. You can do the same from the settings section or get help from a tech expert for the same. 8. Label The Laptop With The Name And Details Of Your Kid Now, like every other essential in schools, kids can lose their laptops, too. Further, two kids can carry similar laptops, and at times, that can create confusion. So, it is better to label the laptop by mentioning their name, address, and contact number. The labeling will help in the quick identification of the gadget. Even the most mischievous friend of your kid will not be able to claim it. Moreover, labeling helps if the laptop is misplaced or lost. With clear labeling or marking, the laptop will always find a way back to your little one.  So far, I have discussed the tips and tricks applicable to kids traveling with laptops. However, these tips do not eliminate the need to follow basic safety rules while traveling with your laptop.  9. Are Your Kids Traveling With Laptops? Keep The Devices Password-Protected  Keeping the laptop password-protected is something that works for kids and adults. Setting up a strong password will help to prevent unwanted access to your device and the important data stored in it.  Don’t go for any predictable combination while setting up the password. Use a mix of small and cap letters, numbers, and special characters.  Moreover, don’t forget to install security software. Also, for international travel, uninstall all the apps banned in the new country you are traveling to.  Additional: How Safe Is Morocco For Travel In 2022? 10 Best Places To Travel In June – Travel Guide 2022 10 Things To Do In Madeira Beach In 2022- Tour And Travel Guides 7 Major Factors To Consider When Choosing An Airline For Travel

Tips To Pack Your Dog’s CBD When Going On A Trip

BY  Arnab Jun 5, 2023

Traveling with a dog can be complicated, especially when you need CBD oil. We know it's essential to ensure our four-legged friends have all the medicines they need while we're on vacation, but packing them safely can become an issue. If you are looking for dog cannabidiol you can even try CBDfx CBD for Dogs or more. It doesn't have to be, though; if you learn a few quick rules on how to transport those crucial substances, your worry-free days away from home won't include any strain on your canine companion's wellness maintenance routine. In this blog post, we'll discuss seven tips for adequately preparing and transporting CBD oil before embarking on your next adventure with Fido by your side! How To Pack Your Dog's CBD When Going On A Trip? 1. Know the Laws and Regulations of Your Destination When planning a trip with your furry friend, you must know the laws and regulations surrounding using CBD products for dogs in your desired destination. Different states and countries can have varying laws regarding the use of these products, so it's crucial to do your research before packing them in your luggage. Regulations can range from requiring a prescription to limiting the amount of CBD allowed. Being informed about these laws can save you from potential hassles at the airport or even legal penalties. So, before you embark on your adventure, take the time to check the local laws, regulations, and restrictions to ensure you and your pet have a smooth and stress-free trip. 2. Pack Enough CBD for the Trip As pet owners, we want to ensure that our furry friends are as comfortable as possible, even when we're on the road. If your dog relies on a CBD product to stay happy and calm, it's important to pack enough for the trip ahead. Whether going on a road trip or taking a flight, double-check the restrictions and regulations regarding cannabidiol products in different states or countries. Once you know what you can and cannot take with you, be sure to pack enough for the entire duration of your Trip. It's always better to be safe than sorry about your dog's well-being. 3. Choose a Travel-Friendly CBD Product Planning for a trip can be exciting, but knowing how to meet their needs best can be tricky when you have a furry friend to care for. With the right travel-friendly CBD product, you can ensure that your dog stays calm and relaxed throughout your Trip, making for an enjoyable experience for you and your furry friend. If you're looking for a travel-friendly product for your dog, there are a few factors to consider. For starters, you'll want to choose a product that's easy to pack and only takes up a little space in your luggage. Additionally, you'll want to look for a product that's specifically designed for dogs and doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. Another thing to remember is dosage - choose the right amount for your dog's size and weight. 4. Store Your CBD Properly If you're planning a trip with your furry companion, a regular user, it's crucial to know how to store the bottle of oil properly. This oil for pets can be sensitive to light, heat, and moisture and lose its potency if not stored correctly. So, where to put your dog's CBD oil while traveling? To keep the oil fresh and potent for the entire Trip: Wrap the bottle in a cloth or a towel and store it in an airtight container. Put the container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If you're flying, pack the CBD oil in your checked luggage rather than your carry-on bag. By storing CBD oil correctly while traveling, you can ensure your dog continues to benefit from its potential properties. 5. Keep Your CBD With You As a dog owner, you know the importance of ensuring your furry friend remains happy. And this means taking their medication with them on trips, just like you would for yourself. CBD has become an increasingly popular natural remedy for dogs, and if your pet is on CBD medication, it's essential that you keep it with you when you hit the road. Luckily, carrying your dog's cannabidiol oil is no different from packing your medication. You need to ensure that you have the correct dosages, the appropriate type of oil, and a secure container to keep it in. By taking these steps, you can ensure your trip goes smoothly and your dog is comfortable throughout the journey. 6. Consult Your Vet If you're unsure whether your dog can safely take CBD, consult your vet before you go on a trip. Your vet can advise you on the right dosage and frequency for your dog based on weight, age, and condition. They can also give you tips on administering CBD to your dog if you're unfamiliar with it. 7. Monitor Your Dog's Reaction When planning a trip with your furry best friend, it's important to consider their well-being like yours. With the rising popularity of cannabidiol products for dogs, many pet owners wonder whether or not they should take them along on their travels. While it may seem harmless to your dog's regimen, it's always best to consult with your veterinarian before doing so. They can advise you on the appropriate dosage and frequency and any potential side effects or interactions with other medications. Taking these precautions ensures that your pup stays happy and relaxed on your next adventure together. Conclusion Traveling with your dog can be a great adventure, but it can also be stressful for them. Consider packing CBD for the Trip to help your dog stay calm and relaxed. Follow these seven tips to pack your dog's cannabidiol safely and responsibly. Always remember to check the laws and regulations of your destination, pack enough cannabidiol, choose travel-friendly products, store your CBD properly, keep it with you at all times, consult your vet, and monitor your dog's reaction. With the right preparation and care, you and your furry friend can have a stress-free and enjoyable trip together.
