What Should You Expect When You Hire an Event Meeting Space in Singapore?

BY Ankita TripathyFeb 8, 2024

Singapore, with its active business climate and strategic location, serves as a meeting, conference, and event hub. When you are contemplating organizing an event, the meeting space you choose is critical to the event's overall success. In this blog article, we will look at the essential considerations and expectations when hiring a conference space in Singapore. Location and Accessibility One of the most important factors when choosing a conference room in Singapore is its location. You should first select a place that is conveniently accessible for your guests, whether they are local or international. Close proximity to public transit, such as MRT stations, is of utmost importance. Additionally, you need to ensure that the site is well-connected to the main business district and comfortable hotels, allowing attendees to easily access the meeting space and stay in comfort. State-of-the-Art Facilities A desirable meeting room in Singapore should be able to offer cutting-edge amenities to accommodate the exacting demands of modern corporate meetings. You should look for places that offer high-speed internet, quality audio-visual equipment, video conferencing, and ergonomic seating. Such facilities will help to provide a positive meeting experience, allowing everyone to focus on the agenda without being concerned with other issues. Flexible Room Configurations Every meeting is unique, and the flexibility of the meeting room arrangement is essential for accommodating a variety of event types. A versatile venue that allows for varied seating configurations, such as boardroom, classroom, or theatre style, guarantees that your event can be customized to meet your specific needs. This versatility is especially useful when you are facilitating workshops, seminars, or training sessions with varied group dynamics. Professional Support Staff A well-trained and skilled support team will greatly improve the overall meeting experience. When you book a conference space in Singapore, you can expect a specialized team to help with logistics, technical support, and catering. From setting up the space to fixing any difficulties that may arise during the event, having dependable staff ensures that everything flows well, allowing you to focus on the essence of your meeting. Catering Services and Refreshments Catering services are an important but often overlooked aspect of booking a conference venue. You should make sure that the location can offer a choice of catering options, from coffee breaks to full meals, to keep participants refreshed and energized throughout the event. You should also discuss dietary requirements and preferences in advance to ensure that all attendees are accommodated. Budget Transparency Understanding the costs of booking a meeting room is key to successful event planning. Reputable venues in Singapore will provide you with clear pricing structures that include all itemized charges in advance. Having clarity regarding the budget will enable you to make an informed choice and pre-empt unexpected costs after the event has begun. So, to summarise, booking a conference space in Singapore will require careful consideration of location, facilities, flexibility, support personnel, catering, and budget. A well-chosen meeting room that satisfies all these requirements may be able to dramatically improve the success of your event. Things to Consider When you are looking for a spot for the ideal event in Singapore, be it a celebration or a meeting, there are certain things you must keep in mind. Singapore has a bunch of options. Here is what you need to remember to bring it all down to any one option for the perfect venue in Singapore.  Budget Before you shop for a ballroom or even a meeting hub for your upcoming event, it is important that you think of the funds that are at your disposal to get that space. Singapore has a huge collection of hotspots, meeting rooms, outdoor events, and conference facilities that are at different prices. So, it is imperative that you book a space based on your allotted budget. This won’t just help you find the right space but also get you to focus on venues that fit into your set budget. If you need a dining or activity component along with your event, you must include these aspects in your miscellaneous budget. Such extra features do incur additional charges. Location of The Venue The location of your chosen venue is important regardless of whether you are reserving it for a corporate event or a rooftop bar. Do not disregard how crucial ease of access and convenience are. The venue you choose must be in the vicinity of MRT stations and other transportation facilities.  Choosing a location that is close to most of the places, attendees will visit makes the vent much more successful. It makes sense, too, because if you want a higher turnout, the venue must be within reach of the maximum number of guests.  Venue That Fits The Agenda You will not find similarities between two events, whether it be a wedding shower or a corporate conference. The right venue for your event should have the capacity to accommodate all your needs for the occasion. This means that if you want to make presentations and bring in guest speakers, your venue must have audio/visual aids.  Meanwhile, if the venue is for a birthday party, there has to be a large dance floor or an area designated for games. It is, therefore, important that you stay open about the type of activities you want to include during the event. This will allow the property you are considering to stay abreast of your necessities instead of just housing the number of guests.  Capacity It might sound unnecessary to also consider the seating arrangement when looking for a venue, but it is a step in the right direction if you want to make your guests feel comfortable. If you know the number of guests, it will help you plan the accommodation inside the space. Your party could be a cocktail-type situation or the usual seated one.  You must make allowances for accommodating at least 10 more people than the actual number of guests on your list. If you end up with a lack of space, chairs, food, or refreshments, there will be no remedying it. Always make space for some unexpected guests, even if you expect some absentees.  Wrapping Up Whether you are looking for a meeting room for hire for a team offsite, boardroom meetings, corporate retreats, or business planning, we just hope that the above guide will help you find the right space for your upcoming event. If you have thoughts to share or questions to ask, please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you! Read Also: What Role Do Corporate Travel Agencies Play In Sustainable Business Travel? A Detailed Guide On Malaysia Bay – From Traveling To Outing

BY Barsha BhattacharyaNov 12, 2022

Striking beaches, pristine islands, and sandy beaches were only a few of the things that I heard about Malaysia before I actually visited the famous Malaysia Bay last October and saw everything for real! Thanks to Malaysia’s tourism, the six nights I spent in this beautiful south Asian country were unforgettable! Keep reading for a closer look at the ultimate guide on traveling to Malaysia - from traveling to the outing, I have tried to cover all the information you were looking for! Traveling To The Malaysia Bay: How To Go To Malaysia Bay? Did you know that Malaysia is well-known for its rich and dynamic cultural heritage? From a large variety of delectable cuisines and annual festivals to rural crafts and traditional architecture, Malaysia Bay is populated with a blend of Indians, Malays, Chinese, and various other indigenous groups. The astonishing beauty, the gorgeous beaches, and the tropical rainforests are surprisingly accessible to travelers. So how do you travel to the popular Malaysia Bay? Keep reading to find out! Best Time To Visit: The best time to visit Malaysia Bay is between the months of March and October. This period is mostly characterized by clear skies and dry weather. Additionally, this is also the time when a majority part of Malaysia experiences a subtle drop in the levels of humidity which makes outdoor activities and sightseeing more comfortable. If you are also planning to check out the islands located on the western coast of Malaysia, it’s best that you try to plan the trip for January or February. This is because the weather is perfect during this time for visiting both Langkawi and Penang. Another factor that you have to take into consideration while traveling to Malaysia Bay is the pollutants and haze caused as a result of slash-and-burn farming. This takes place every other year, and moreover, the low quality of air can also interfere with all outdoor activities, especially in Borneo as well as areas near Indonesia. Where To Go In Malaysia: Did you know that the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur happens to be an economic and social driving force constantly working on bettering itself? And this fact is so well reflected in the persistent proliferation of different air-conditioned designer bars, restaurants, and shopping malls inside the city. At the same time, KL is deeply rooted in its traditions - you will spot how people still dress up in traditional attire during festivals, especially in relatively older areas like Little India and Chinatown. Moreover, if you drive south from the capital for only two hours, you will reach Melaka, the original birthplace of the whole Malay civilization - you can’t miss out on the mellow atmosphere and historical architecture of Melaka! Then there’s Penang island, the first site of British settlement in the country. In fact, Penang’s capital, Georgetown, is home to several colonial buildings and a colorful Chinatown district, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site along with Melaka. If you move to the east coast of the Peninsula, you will find the area peppered with stunning islands like Pulau Tioman & Pulau Perhentian, and rustic villages, all filled with package tourists and backpackers - this area boasts a relaxing and rural vibe. However, to check out the best of Malaysian traditions, you must check out the state capitals of Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu. How To Go To Malaysia? I would suggest that you opt for a flight because traveling by air is definitely the best and safest way to reach the stunning Malaysia Bay. In fact, Malaysian airlines actually offer really low-cost flights to the capital, Kuala Lampur, for all budget travelers. And yes, do not forget to get a Malaysia Tourist Visa. Without a visa, your tour will never start. Additionally, Malaysia has three major airports. These are as follows, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (the busiest airport), Senai International Airport, and Kota Kinabalu International Airport. In case you do want to experience a train journey, then you will find direct trains from Singapore and Thailand that travels to Malaysia under KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu)’s services. Now, in that case, you would have to fly to Singapore first or Thailand before you can onboard a train to Malaysia. Exploring The Malaysia Bay: Things To Know The entire Malay archipelago stretches from the Philippines to Indonesia, with Malaysia becoming a vital trade port between the world’s two biggest trading markets, China and India. Later, Malaysia Bay also became crucial entrepôts for the Dutch, Portuguese, and ultimately the British empire. The country of Malaysia came into existence only recently in 1963, when the whole federation of 11 peninsula states was finally joined by powerful Singapore and two other Bornean territories of Sabah and Sarawak. Later in 1965, Singapore bid adieu to this union to exist as a country that’s independent. Today, Malaysia has become home to a dominant cultural diversity, unique in building several multicultural societies. So let’s check out everything that you need to know about the famous Malasyiabay! Facts About The Malaysia Bay: The facts that you must be aware of Malaysia Bay are as follows, With around 28 million residents, Malaysia is distinctively divided into two different regions. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is located in Peninsular Malaysia, separated by the South China Sea by a solid 600 km from East Malaysia. East Malaysia comprises the two states of Sarawak and Sabah, located on Borneo island. A democracy, Malaysia follows a Parliamentary form of government, similar to England, with the post of Yang di-Pertuan Agung as the ceremonial Head Of State. However, the post of Yang di-Pertuan Agung keeps rotating among the different Sultans of the Federation. Malaysia is also famous for being home to the largest flower in the world, Rafflesia. A rainforest plant from Malaysia, Rafflesia smells like rotten meat and is measured to be over a meter in size. Fun fact, Rafflesia was named after the founder of Singapore, a well-known naturalist, Sir Stamford Raffles. Historically, the economy of Malaysia has been dominated by mining and agriculture. At present, however, the country does feature a constantly growing manufacturing sector. Wildlife In Malaysia: Both Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia are hot spots for all wildlife enthusiasts, harboring more than 600 different kinds of birds and about 200 different mammal species - including Asian tigers, elephants, tapirs, sun bears, gibbons, hornbills, pythons, and barking deer. Borneo is also home to the Proboscis monkey, called so because of its drooping bulbous nose. Moreover, the island also happens to be one of the only two habitats (all-natural) for Orang-utans. The other location is Sumatra. In fact, the word ‘Malay’ literally means ‘man of the forest.’ Moreover, the marine life of Malaysia Bay is very diverse, where divers can easily swim around with clown fishes, barracudas, and white-tip sharks. You can also spot hawksbill and green turtles known for dragging themselves ashore every season to lay eggs at night. Outdoor Activities In Malaysia: Home to countless islands and beaches, as well as some of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world, Malaysia is well known for several outdoor activities, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and trekking.  The relatively more established resorts located on the touristy islands of Tioman, Penang, and Langkawi also offer paragliding and jet skiing, while Cherating’s windy bay is not just home to budget tourists - Cherating also happens to be a hot hub for windsurfers. So why don’t you scroll down and check out all the adventure activities you can try out on your trip to Malaysia Bay? 1. Snorkeling And Diving: The crystal-clear waters, the abundance of tropical fishes, and the stunning corals of Malaysia Bay make diving and snorkeling a must for every underwater enthusiast. This holds particularly true for the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, with islands such as Redang, Kapas, Tioman, and the Perhentians. Additionally, Sipidan Island Marine Reserve in Sabah is also another spot that offers similar activities. For instance, the dive shops in Sarawak’s Miri and Sabah’s Kota Kinabalu offer internationally recognized all-inclusive certification courses. So it could cost you somewhere between RM1300 (for beginner’s courses) to RM2200 (for advanced courses). In case you have qualified already, then you can expect dive trips to cost you about RM180 a day, inclusive of gear rental. Moreover, you can get rent snorkeling equipment from guesthouses on the beach for about RM20 a day. In case you aren’t sure about where to go for snorkeling, you can always consult with locals. At the same time, you will find out that snorkeling areas have been marked out by motorboat lanes with the help of buoy lines. 2. Windsurfing: Although windsurfing has not really taken off in the whole of Malaysia Bay yet, you can still try out this activity in some of the most expensive hotels and resorts in the country. However, as I mentioned a while back, you can always check out the windy bay of Cherating, famous for its huge, open bay with shallow waters, perfect for windsurfing, especially during the season of the northeast monsoon. 3. Whitewater Rafting: Sungai Padas, located in Sabah, is a beautiful grade-3 river that runs across the stunning Padas Gorge in the north and has become a popular spot for Whitewater Rafting. However, if you want to try out this adventure sport, then you have to understand that rafting opportunities in Peninsular Malaysia are a little difficult to find. So it’s best to talk with different operators to fix your rafting trip! You can expect one day’s rafting to cost you about RM250, inclusive of all the equipment. 4. Trekking: Most of the treks in Malaysia Bay require preparation and forethought. The tropical climate can be unpredictable, with the fierce Sun and torrential rain making things difficult for trekkers - what started out as a simple five-hour trek can just as easily take twice that time due to the weather. The treks inside the national parks have made opting for a guide and going in groups mandatory. If you are traveling solo, you will be able to join other groups on location. Both conditions and costs vary from park to park - you can check out with established travel agencies or even local guides. If you are inexperienced when it comes to trekking, then the best place to start for you would be Taman Negara, known for its beautiful walks - you can also do this trek without opting for a guide. But, then, Bako National Park, located in southwest Sarawak, also offers relatively easy treks. On the other hand, other national parks in Sarawak, like Gunung Mulu, are for people with relatively more challenging tastes. Bonus Section: Checklist For Camping And/Or Trekking In case you do opt for camping or trekking in Malaysia, make sure you follow the checklist mentioned below! Backpack Tent (if you want to sleep outside) Sleeping bag Mosquito net Water purification tablets Water bottle Torch (a head torch is a better choice) Toilet paper and toiletries Sewing Kit Pocket Knife Insect repellent UV-protected Sunglasses Lip balm and sunblock  Compass Breathable t-shirts Quick-drying, lightweight trousers Rainproof poncho or coat Trekking boots Cotten hat with a brim Fleece jacket Woolen and cotton socks Standard first-aid kit Leech socks Binoculars Insulation mat Small towel Spare bootlaces Emergency snacks Heavy-duty refuse bag for rainproofing your backpack And It’s A Wrap! So now that you have a fair idea about traveling to Malaysia Bay, what are you waiting for? All you have to do is plan your trip, pack your bags, and visit this beautiful country. Plus, there’s so much to do - yes, the sightseeing is going to be a crazy experience, but then there’s so much to do for all adventure sports enthusiasts. So tell us, what do you think about planning a trip to Malaysia? Also, if you have already visited this beautiful country, tell us about your experiences in the comments below. Vadodara Boy Viaan Makes Proud Climbing 14,000 Ft In The Himalayas

BY Ankita TripathyAug 26, 2022

Viaan Patel from Vadodara, Gujarat, a young boy, aged nine, has made India proud after climbing the 14,000 ft. Gadsar Pass located in the Himalayas. He has now become the youngest in Gujarat to achieve this. Inspired by his father, who has climbed many mountains like Mount Abu and Pavagadh, Viaan started climbing mountains from a very young age. He started accompanying his father when he was just two years old. In a conversation with Times of India, Viaan mentioned it was one of the best experiences I ever had. I had never climbed to such a height, so there were some nervous moments. It is only natural for a boy of such a young age to be scared about this difficult trek. "But I was confident of reaching the peak and I did it," he added. This pass is one of the most difficult, as well as the most dreamed of treks. However, only a few people have reached such a high altitude. Cafe Creme – Best Review By Users In 2022 [Genuine Information]

BY Barsha BhattacharyaMar 2, 2022

As we entered 2022, more and more people opted to work remotely and began craving coffee and similar beverages from premium brands like Starbucks and Cafe Creme. So it’s no wonder that the brands selling coffee witnessed unprecedented growth in the last three years. But, with 2021 coming out as the year of resignation, is 2022 going to be the year for a premium beverage? Every other brand in the hospitality market is ready to convince consumers to expand the cafe and coffee experience. But the question is, are they? And if they are, what about the quality? Unfortunately, while most brands successfully introduce a cafe experience, they fail to maintain the quality like the cafe creme franchise. So what is it about the Cafe Creme brand that seems to attract several consumers every other day? Is it the delectable taste or the beautiful French location? There could be several reasons behind this sudden growth. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about this famous brand! About Cafe Creme: The Brand Although the Cafe Creme brand was launched several years ago, it was only a few years ago that the brand really started putting in efforts for expansion. The managing director of the cafe creme franchise, Kunal Kashikar, is responsible for consistently marketing the brand by visiting various places in the country and doing adequate research on the whole cold coffee revolution. If you are wondering what is cafe creme, instead of learning about the brand on Google, why don’t you try out the brand’s signature drunk, Kuka? The chocolate-colored website of Cafe Creme mentions with pride that the brand is currently serving a whopping six lakhs (and more on some days) Kuka glasses on average every month in more than 20 cities in the country. A paradise for chocolate connoisseurs, every outlet offers calm, modern interiors with a relaxing atmosphere for consumers. The best part about the brand is that it constantly evolves with consumers' tastes. They are always busy researching and coming up with more ways to improve the holistic cafe experience. Products The residents of Maharastra will love the fact that we recommend the cafe creme Vashi at Navi Mumbai and cafe creme Kalyan at Thane for their mouth-watering menu. But we are asking you to visit the one in Paris! If you have not checked out the Cafe Creme menu, here’s what you will find! Kuka Kuka Exclusive Creme Shakes Creme Mastani Fresh Cream Shakes Junket (Sundae) Thunders (Ice Creams) Chocolate Exclusive Choco Cremes Snacks Hot Beverages Sandwiches Cafe Creme - Best Reviews (https://www.tripadvisor.co.nz/ShowUserReviews-g187147-d812150-r688576480-Cafe_Creme-Paris_Ile_de_France.html) - Reference for four reviews. As a brand that has survived the tough chocolate and premium coffee industry in Paris for many years, Cafe Creme has earned its fair share of reviews on Google from consumers across the world. Check out a few of our favorite reviews! Review By Tomer Y From Paris “Great food! I was with a friend, we took Avocado toast and salad Hallumi - both delicious! The service was fast and good. Just a long waiting line to get in on weekends.” Review By Mitch D From Bordeaux “This is a typical bistro/cafe in the Marais area. Good food, just not spectacular. The staff is really helpful. Outdoor seating and the place are always crowded for lunch and dinner. Many young people are so interested in watching the crowd and other diners. We always have lunch here when in the area.” Review By Thomas V From Oakland “Well, this is a fine cafe and a great place to sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the terrific Marais atmosphere. But we like the lunch menu and the hamburgers. Great location.” While Cafe Creme earned some stellar reviews globally, there are a few bad reviews that we could not help but notice! Here’s our favorite negative review that the cafe received. Review By Alex M From Singapore “I went there with a friend for an afternoon drink. When we arrived, the staff was not very welcoming, a bit rude. I ordered a fresh juice (cucumber, pineapple, and celery) and my friend a chai latte. I got a cucumber + water mixed drink, there was no pineapple at all for sure, no taste. My friend got a cup of hot milk with a teabag! I order chai latte very often, I have never seen this. When I asked if there was missing some ingredients in my juice, the waiter told me they could not make me a new one because the "fresh" juices were made in the morning (it was 6 pm). I changed for tea, but I had to pay the price of the juice, which was more expensive.” Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): 1. How Many Cafes In Paris? There are over 5000 (and increasing at the moment) cafes in Paris at the moment. Although Cafe Creme is one of many aesthetic locations to sip coffee in Paris yet, there’s no other place where you will find cafe creme cigars! 2. What Is French Coffee? Of course, French coffee refers to the way French people have coffee. This coffee does not have to be made with French coffee beans, and in most cases, the coffee is not even obtained from the French press. Simply put, French coffee is the espresso-type coffee drank by French people at outdoor places. 3. Do French Cafés Serve Alcohol? French cafes are not actual cafes. Instead, these are actual cafe spaces with restaurant-quality food that you can eat at any time, a complete bar, and even a fine selection of wines. The sky is the limit when it comes to Paris, and you must visit the city! Conclusion There’s no denying that Cafe Creme has managed to stay relevant over the last several years and even now continues to evolve at a fast pace. So if you are planning to visit this famous coffee shop on the beautiful streets of Paris, what are you waiting for? Visit today! Travel Tips to Help You Out In Asia

BY Sharmita SheeJan 18, 2018

Asia has seen a considerable rise in travel and tourism in the last decade. They have finally taken the tourism business seriously. This has been implemented to such an extent that even countries like China have opened up their gates for the foreigners not only for travel but also for business and academic activities. However, Asia, as a travel destination, is a new place for many travel aspirants. Especially for the American citizens for whom, Asian destinations are quite famous these days. There is more than one reason for this. Firstly, most of the Asian countries as destinations are cheaper than their European counterparts. Further, Asia has always been a land of mystery for most of them through their experience of reading the childhood fantasy stories. Thus, an Asian trip for the Americans has always been a different experience. This has made sure that the traffic from America to Asia has received a major boost in the last decade or so. Nevertheless, the first-timers must know certain things regarding the continent before setting off for travel. Research regarding the regulations of the places Off late there has been changes in visa regulations in quite a few countries. Like in China, huge changes have been implemented making the visa regulations easier but different from what used to be. Thus, it is essential to know regarding the existing rules to avoid any hazard during the tour. Further, most of the Asian countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months in order to provide you with an entry visa. Thus, you might be in serious trouble if the validity of your passport is not looked after well ahead of travel. 1. Know regarding the ATMs in advance: These days in Asia, you would seldom come across a place where you would not find an ATM. Then, there would be odd places where there would not be an ATM to help you out. Thus, research regarding the place in a proper manner before you set out for a journey, as it is better to know which place requires you to carry cash and which place does not. 2. Avoid purchasing SIM cards:  Most of the Asian countries are reputed for free Wi-Fi. You would normally find complementary free Wi-Fi services in the hotels you put up in. Thus, it is no longer worthy to buy a SIM card while traveling to the Asian countries these days. Not that the Sim cards would cost you a huge amount, but why spend even a single buck if you Can get your job done for free. 3. Have knowledge regarding the cab fares:  Cab fares might be an important issue in Asia. It is better to do some research regarding the existing cab fares for the places you have planned to travel before reaching the places. If you are ignorant regarding them, there are chances of the drivers robbing you with amounts much higher than the actual rates. 4. Having US$ always helps:  Nothing is better than the possession of the local currency of the place you are traveling. This is applicable not only for an Asian travel but also all the places around the world. However, remember that in most of the Asian countries, along with their local currency, US$ is also accepted. Thus, as US travelers, there would not be much problem if you are carrying US$ with you. 5. Always possess toilet papers and hand sanitizers:  There would not be many places where you would get either toilet papers or hand sanitizers for use in the public toilets. Thus, it is always a healthy habit to carry both in your backpack while traveling through Asia. 6. Maintain your calm:  When you are travelling a foreign country, never ever get into a tussle with any of the inmates of any country which so ever. Remember that the natives of those countries would always support their fellow citizens. On the hind side, it is always a good idea to learn a few phrases in their native tongue like a hello or a thank you. Finally, we can come to the conclusion that every country has their habits and their own set of cultures. Thus, it is always good to travel to a particular place not only for enjoyment but also to have a bit of their culture so that the experience transcends to something that can be cherished for a lifetime. Decide Where to Stay  Bali offers an interesting mix of lifestyles and experiences. You will not fail to get something that will flow well with your personality. The most important thing is to do your homework well regarding the preferred travel destination.   To get the most out of your trip, you must decide the area of stay according to your preferences. If for instance, you want to party hard, you must stay in Kuta. The reason is that Kita is well known for its vibrant and pulsating nightlife. Most people who come to this place remain with a great story to tell for the rest of their life.   If you have a spiritual bend of mind, Ubud that is home to various temples and spas is the place to stay. This destination will give you the spiritual nourishment that you need all the time. You will also have a lot to learn about religion and other important aspects of spiritualism.   If sophistication and luxury is what you seek, then you need to head straight to Nusa Dua.  The region is home to a number of luxury hotels and resorts. You can be sure of heading to some of the most luxurious restaurants in Bali.   What we are saying is that Bale has everything for everyone. You will not lack a perfect match for yourself irrespective of your personality. The secret is to do your homework well so that some of the goodies of the city don’t pass you by.   2. Carry Your International Driver’s License (IDL)  Public transport is almost non-existent in most parts of Bali. Therefore, you should prepare to drive yourself as you have a tour of this region. Therefore, you should carry your international driver’s license especially if you feel that hiring a taxi will be expensive.   There a few areas of southern Bali that have a few taxi services. The best way to move around is hiring a self-drive car. You can also hire a chauffeur driven vehicle. The only thing is to make sure that you are choosing an option that is most comfortable for you.   If you wish to drive yourself, you’d need to carry your International Driver’s License. Before you get behind the wheel, visit the local police station to get your IDL endorsed to drive around legally. You don’t want to fall into the wrong hands while driving around Bali.   3. Learn About the Local Traditions  Balinese are very friendly people and welcome tourists with open arms. You can be sure that you will receive the best from these people. Therefore, you can interact with them well as long as you learn their way of life.   That said, the locals are very particular about their traditional customs and beliefs. To avoid offending them you must;  Not offer anything to anyone from your left hand, as it is considered impure.  Avoid pointing to call out someone as it is considered to be a rude and offensive gesture.  Do not step intentionally on the canang sari, an offering to the Creator.  Do not honk or shout at people, especially when stuck in a religious procession.  Do not walk in front of a praying Balinese or use cameras with flash in a temple.  Keeping all these things in mind will make sure that you have a smooth stay as you tour Bali. These are very few things that will not be hard to comply with. Learn to keep them and anyone whom you come across will learn to appreciate you.   4. Learn About how to Avoid the Bali Belly  Ask Bali travelers the worst experience they had in Bali and many would answer Bali Belly or an upset stomach. Bali Belly is often caused due to drinking tap water as it may contain harmful bacteria and other microorganisms. However, this is something that you can easily avoid by watching your eating habits.    To avoid this problem, always drink bottled water and use it to brush your teeth. Go slow on the exotic food as the body takes time to adjust from your regular diet to a new one. It is all about taking care of everything that gets into your mouth.   Use a hand sanitizer to clean hands before meals. Carry activated charcoal tablets and anti-diarrhea medications.  Drink raspberry juice at regular intervals as it helps keep you hydrated.  The secret is maintaining high levels of hygiene. There is no way that you will get Bali Belly as long as you mind your hygiene. Therefore, don’t do anything that will compromise your health even if it is the order of the day in your home country.   Bonus Tip: Are you Ready to Have an Experience of a Lifetime?  With its majestic temples, dense rainforests, and alluring beaches, Bali, undoubtedly is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations on Earth. You will rarely come across another destination that will beat Bali in your adventure life.   To get the most out of your traveling experience or honeymoon experience in Bali, follow the tips mentioned in this post. You should also carry hand sanitizers, and toilet paper as many local restrooms do not supply these essentials.   Last, but not the least, renew your travel insurance before booking a Bali tour package from Ahmedabad or any other city. These tips will make sure that you are getting the best experience from your trip in Bali.   Conclusion  With all these tips, you are destined to get the most from your trip to Bali. You will discover that it is one of the best places to tour on your next visit. There is so much that you can do when touring the area. Five Tips For First Time Traveler To India

BY Krishnendu SheetMay 7, 2017

Visiting India is akin to taking a dive into the unknown. Most travelers to India will tell you that the chaos and unceasing hullabaloo is an intrinsic part of it. Others, however, seem to successfully capture the “mystical and harmonious” spirit that apparently, is to be found everywhere in India.  Not only the land of snake charmers but more ethnic wonders, India travel should be on the top of your list for various reasons. However, regardless of what India is, or is not, there are certain tips which must be followed by every visitor to India. This ensures the best of everything while allowing one to discover all that India has to offer. Here are the five tips for first-time travelers to India. Five Tips For First Time Traveler To India: 1. Choosing The Best Route: Among the many tips for first-time visitors to India, this is one of the most important. Plan your India trip according to your interests, priorities, and fascinations. If exploring the fabulous monuments is what you desire, visit the cities of Agra, Delhi and Jaipur. From Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri to Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb, you’ll find it all here for India travel. If spiritual discovery is what you’re after, then visit the innumerable temples in North and South India, the beautiful mosques, monasteries, and churches scattered all over India. India also offers abundant opportunities for engaging in adventure sports and natured oriented pursuits like trekking, skiing, rafting, etc. To get a glimpse of the exotic flora and fauna of India, visit the several nature parks or wildlife sanctuaries, which house an exotic variety of flora and fauna. 2. Go Slow – Patience Is The Key! Too many visitors to India make the mistake of trying to discover and explore everything in one go. The geographical enormity of India renders such a task not just impossible but rather foolish. Once you are in India, slow down and absorb the surroundings around you, while appreciating the uniqueness brought by every experience. Rather than stressing yourself over completing the things-to-do list, focus on doing one thing or visiting one place and exploring it in detail. Not only will this make your trip pleasant, but also give you a glimpse of the local culture and customs. If you want to understand India, this is the way to go about it. If you are complaining about the traffic in your country, then it is nothing less than the traffic in India which makes India travel no less than a hectic journey. So, always keep the assistance of Google Maps, so that you can easily find out short cuts and lanes for a quick escape. Also, drivers tend to ask for more money if they see that you are a tourist. It is better if you do thorough research on the cab rates and bus rates to save some money. 3. Look For Solitude Amid Unceasing Chaos! Any useful guide for first-time visitors to India will tell you that despite being a land inhabited by billions, India still offers plentiful avenues for escaping the maddening crowd and ensuing chaos. This is not to say that you should avoid soaking in the cultural and social atmosphere. However, there will come a point where you would seek moments of tranquility and solitude. Fortunately, India has plenty of hill stations, quiet retreats, isolated beaches, serene backwaters, etc. It’s always a good idea to head to these places when the crowds and the hassle seem overbearing. Doing this will help you relax and rejuvenate before continuing with the rest of your journey. If you are a nature lover, then it is best to start from the north. There are mainly five travel holidays destinations you should be starting on. Now the call is completely yours: Leh-LadakhShimla-ManaliDehradun-MussoorieNainital-RanikhetJammu-Kashmir 4. Prioritize Your Health: Any ultimate guide for the first timer to India will mention the words “health, well-being, safety, etc.” In India, you can never be too cautious regarding your health. Never make the mistake of drinking tap water or consuming food which has been lying around for a long time. Indian food is very spicy. So, be careful in the matter of food choices. Do not drink water from random shops. Instead, keep a bottle of mineral water with you all the time. While street-side snacks are utterly tempting, it’s always advised to assess the cleanliness around you before gorging on them. One of the best ways of determining whether the food is safe is to watch whether it’s being consumed by locals. If yes, then go ahead! Also, do not miss the famous food places to visit in India. You will see that diversity is not only in cultures but in food too. However, each food item is different in taste and in health. Another way of ensuring your health is always carrying an anti-bacterial gel or anti-bacterial wipes. This is because most Indians eat with their fingers, and if you want to emulate them, these are the best tools for the last minute clean-up. 5. Be Calm At All Times: One of the most useful things to know for the first timers to India is maintaining your cool at all times. Certain parts of India, and especially the North, may seem brash, undisciplined and rude, with all sorts of touts out to get your money for more travel holidays. However, it’s important to be extremely alert while politely refusing any unwanted advances or moves made upon you. One of the easiest ways of avoiding being conned is refusing any deal that sounds too good to be true. Conclusion: At the same time, when the situation demands, learn to be assertive without sounding angry. This is the best way of displaying your confidence without appearing to be weak. There are numerous places to visit in India, and you cannot finish it in one month. Therefore, if you are at all planning for an India tour, make sure that your getaway last for more than a month, maybe two. The vast country awaits to mesmerize you with its meandering rivers and lofty mountains and timeless monuments and spiritual hubs of different religions. Top 10 Most Popular Paraguay Food That You Must Try

BY Sarmind SafiSep 21, 2021

Many of the countries in South America are popular for their exquisite and varied cuisine. However, the practices of Paraguay food are not known to many. The Paraguayan Cuisine has been influenced by the local indigenous tribe’s culinary traditions and practices brought by immigrants from Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Being a foodie myself, I love traveling around the world to have a taste of every new variety of food that the world has to offer. Visiting remote areas, meeting with new people, and trying out their traditional dishes is what I have always loved! I was also in your shoes when I first landed in Paraguay, a bit startled and confused. Although, as I began to explore, my first meal at a fancy restaurant in Asuncion changed my entire perception of the state.  Tid-Bits About Paraguay Food Classic Paraguay food includes some of the most exclusive dishes that are bound to beat any of the Peruvian or Argentine preparations. Traditional culinary elements in Paraguay food recipes consist of meat, maize, vegetables, manioc, cheese, fish, milk, and even fruits.  ‘Asado’ is a local term used for barbecue, which is referred to as both a cooking practice and a social event. In Paraguay, barbecuing is the most important mode of cooking their traditional Paraguayan food dishes.  Here in this article, I will elucidate the best dishes and popular foods in Paraguay that you must try in Paraguay this year. The Paraguay famous foods excite your taste buds and have an experience like never before.  1. Kivevé You will be stuck in a dilemma whether to count this as a main course or a dessert. Kieve is the most popular and loved Paraguay food. It is a vegetarian dish that is cooked out of andai (a type of juicy pumpkin), cornmeal, Paraguayan cheese, milk, and sugar. Kieve is a typical food in Paraguay. It has a very creamy and light texture and is orangish in color. This rich-flavored delicacy is served lukewarm and is often consumed as a side dish or even main meal, at breakfasts, and as an evening snack. 2. Chipa Considered a staple Paraguay food, Chipa is a simple bread roll that was invented by the local indigenous people in the 18th century. It is a bun that is made out of manioc or cassava flour, lard, and anise, and beaten eggs and cheese. There are different versions of Chipa available, varying over the regional influences. The bread has a very crunchy crust due to the addition of lard. The crumb is soft and has a unique flavor. It is prepared and consumed by every household in the state.  3. Bori Bori Bori-Bori (Vori-Vori) is a nutritious and flavorful thick soup that is prepared out of vegetables such as carrots, celery, onions. It is filled with meat (chicken or beef) and dumplings of cornmeal plus cheese. The prime flavoring ingredients in this soup are bay leaves, cloves, and parsley. The addition of saffron to this hearty broth makes it even more flavorful and rich golden in color. It must be served piping hot, garnished with some parsley and Paraguayan cheese on the side. It is especially popular during the winters.  4. Sopa Paraguaya This specialty is not what it sounds like. Even though SOPA translates to soup in the local language, it is not at all in the vicinity of any soupy preparations. It is the national dish of Paraguay, which resembles a cakey thick bread.  It is crafted out of cornflour, cheese, milk, and eggs. The flavor is inculcated through the use of onions and pork fat. It is usually baked and is often termed solid soup. It has a soft and crumbly texture and is served on special occasions as a side dish.  5. Mbeju Mbeju, when translated to the local Guarani language, means cake. It is a very simple and staple Paraguay food. It is a kind of starchy pancake that is prepared with cassava flour, salt, oil, milk, eggs, crumbled cheese, and even pork fat.  The dough is kneaded well and rolled out thickly like a pancake. It is then fried in hot oil. It is usually consumed during breakfast, sometimes dinner, alongside a bitter herbal tea or coffee.  6. Soyo This is another popular Paraguay food, which is a thick unpassed soup. It is made with beef grounded in a mortar, rice, and vegetables, including green peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Soyo is another good example of Paraguay’s famous food.  The dish is flavored with garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. The name is derived from the native Guarani phrase so’o josopy, meaning crushed meat. A whole bowl of soyo can be considered as a complete meal and has a high calorific value. It is a very healthy and refreshing drink and has high caffeine content. 8. Dulce de Mamon Here comes our most awaited syrupy sweet dessert in the list of top Paraguay food you must try! Pira Caldo Another most favored Paraguay food includes Pira Caldo. It is basically a light fish stew made with freshwater catches such as surubi, mandi’y, and tare’y. I have never in my life tasted such meaty textured fishes with a tinge of saltiness in them.  Initially, vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, leeks, celery, bell peppers, and carrots are fried in pork or beef fat and are cooked with other spices. It is then combined with milk and soft white cheese to improve the thickness and flavor. 10. Bife Koygua Bife Koygua, or hidden steak as it is known, is another popular Paraguay food that is a must-try.  It is a heavy preparation in which the beef steaks are covered with onions and tomatoes.
